Woil jumped out of the boat and stretched and yawned. "That was such a soothing ride!" He said happily grabbing Stanley's arm and yanking him out of the boat and happily smiling at him. "Come on, lets get in line to be sorted!." He said smiling and dragging him along with the others. Your such a kid. Uh hello? WE ARE KIDS!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ¦¦ With the help of the kindly groundkeeper, he managed to get a now-shivering Bea warm and dry. He thanked the lady and grinned at Bea. Laughing and going on about how crazy she was and how lucky it was the woman had not punished her. She surely had broken some rule.
The boats finally moved, to both their delight, and all through the quick sail to the castle, Allen stared at the castle in awe and nervous anticipation. ALl conversation aside regarding the upcoming school year, classes and the sorting; now it felt real. t was really about to happen and it felt life-changing. The meaning behind the Hogwarts letter and his being a wizard was finally starting to sink in.
He was quick to clamber out of the boat once it reached shore. Jumping out a bit too soon, even, similarily to the train ride. He landed in a bit of water and a chill ran up his spine at its freezing temprature. He had even more respect for Bea's action of jumping in now. He waited for Bea to gather her things. Even her foul cat, and offered her a hand to climb out. Grinning with joy.
His eye caught sight of a few other students climbing out of the boats but one boy caught Allen's attention the boy with the odd twitch. He kept fetching Allen's attention and the white haired boy observed him now as he walked with the rest of the groups of first years towards the sorting. ¦¦

unsorted first year
~
Mallow didn't really talk for the rest of the trip across, she wanted to take in the entire castle because this would be the only time she'd be heading across this lake, wouldn't it? The boathouse was getting closer and closer, and Mallow's excitement just kept rising every foot the boat traveled. When the boat finally docked, Mallow excitedly got off the boat, and looked around at the boathouse. It wasn't the cleanest place from the looks of it, but she knew the rest of Hogwarts would look amazing. Well, she didn't know exactly, but judging from the outside she was sure it would. Inside her cage, Blaire was squaking again, but Mallow got the ruddy owl to shut up by threating quietly, "I will throw you in the water if you don't be quiet." Not that Mallow really meant it. But still, hopefully there was somewhere to leave her things so she didn't have to listen to 'hoo, squak, hoo,' through whatever sorting thing she had heard about.
Right when the hoo's of little miss obnoxious owl Blaire had toned down, the owl once again attempted the fly out of the cage feat. Mallow held the barn owl down, grumbling, "Stupid owl never wants to shut up..." Next time Blaire made a rambunctious noise, Mallow would give her the reverse psychology treatment. Which was one of the only ways Mallow could get other people to do things, sadly. And with Blaire being an owl, Mallow wasn't even sure if it would work on her.

janeAbigaildoyleJane was practically shaking with excitement now, every second sorting drawing closer. She still had no idea of where she would go, everyone else seemed to have a clear idea of which house they wanted to be put in but not here. She hoped not Slytherin or Hufflepuff but would Ravenclaw or Gryffindor really be a good choice for her? She decided to forget the matter and leave it to the hat, apparently he knew what he was doing despite appearances.

Black Lake/ Boat HouseRonyo Storm - Unsorted First Year
There was so much to take in and so much to process during that small amount of time that had seemed like forever. Ronyo had taken to reading a few pages regarding hexes but could not keep himself from having his other senses peering at the other members of his boating party. Hearing the talk of owls and wands had Ronyo curious about the former and brought to deep thought by the ladder. That thought was brought to a halt as the one known as Blaire decided to show off for some reason and cause one of the other boats to tip dangerously so.
The act was close to malicious in the idea of what could happen from the magical push. Blaire’s low whisper and act of hiding the wand also contributed to the idea of ill begotten intent. Ronyo had thought to stand and confront Blaire about the act but quickly realized he not only was still somewhat in the dark about the blonde miscreant but was also not on the best ground for a confrontation. Without knowing his opponent Ronyo could not be sure of granted victory in the act and did not wish to risk the chance with others in the boat. He felt Colton would likely have backed him up and even Phi as well, but the number of allies did not offset the lack of knowledge about this Blaire.
During the ride across the lake Ronyo continued to keep his eyes on the borrowed book while his peripheral vision watched the blonde with studious intent. Every now and then he would turn the page and actually take the time to read areas he found interesting but his attention stayed on the blonde for what Ronyo guessed was to make sure Blaire did no more harm.
With a general feel of relief the boat came to the boat house and with that the deceptive blonde made quick haste in leaving their company for the reason of being outnumbered or simply finding no more fun to be had Ronyo could not be certain. At which point Ronyo kindly handed Phi back her book as he saw her preparing to disembark as well.
“Many thanks again Phi, it made time pass quicker,” Ronyo smiled and gave a quick nod to the red head once again.
As Ronyo stood up in the craft he noted with a smile of Colton’s continued respectful actions as he produced a hand for Phi to use to leave the vessel first. Knowing the boys background made the actions more understandable but still it was always nice to see someone else practice chivalry other than him. After allowing the two to exit the boat first Ronyo hoped off himself and stretched his legs for a bit. Turning to Phi and Colton seeing as they were the only ones he had any semblance of acquaintance with, he gave a relieved sigh and followed the two, now three with the other girl returning in kind.
“Odd one that Blaire no, what were you three able to take from that one?” Ronyo withheld any pronouns that would designate a gender and knew that come the sorting and rooming at the school that would soon be cleared up.

SHe thanked ROnyo for her book back again, hoping he had enjoyed it and even found something useful, though she was not sure how much reading he had actually managed to do. Even though once she lent it to him he seemed to be reading until their touching land, Phi knew better than ignore the occasional time she had caught him looking at Blaire. His eyes having the same calculating gleam that she her's had when looking at the mysterious blonde as well.
Even though the girl knew full well both Ronyo and Colton (perhaps Jane, but Phi caught little sign of it if it had been so) had suspect something from the moment the character became thier newest boat-mate, she was still surprised when Ronyo openly adressed it.
SHe turned around and gave a wise smile to Ronyo. He was also beginning to grow on her the way Colton was. Even without knowing any specifics, she could sense there was a similarity between the two. "Odd. Definately odd. It seemed an act." She was thinking of the one moment where she saw Blaire snarl with anger at being splashed by another first year. It was vicious, but it was so much more...natural.
Phi looked over where Blaire no longer stood and she relished in a memory. "Did you notice the Adam's apple?"╚══════════════════╝

The trip to the boathouse had been fairly short and he had sat in silence through most of it staring in awe at the huge mass the was the school. Now he was mere moments away from being sorted into his house. So many thoughts raced through his mind, like would he be able to make friends? What would his classes be like? And many others similar to those. Though he had made one friend, at least he hoped he could call Danielle a friend. She was the only one he had met so far but he would like to get to know her better. "We're almost there." He said, turning to her almost giddy with excitement. ι ᴍᴇᴛ ʏou oɴcᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ι'ᴅ ғᴀʟʟᴇɴ ғoʀ ʏouʀ ɴoᴛιoɴs

Slip out the back before they know you were there
and at the worst you'll see nobody cares, you don't want to be around when it all goes down... William Dante Nott the Third
"Eh, I still haven't even decided myself, I wonder if that ol' hat will be able to do it." He lied. He knew exactly what house he wanted to be placed in, what house he was supposed to be in, the house of his family. For centuries, the Nott lineage remained consist, though there were few branches that required trimming, like all other trees.
But it wasn't all a lie. If it was up to him, he wouldn't have known either way. "Durmstrang, ey? I hear their classes are a lot more 'exciting' but, as it turns out, my fathers mum wouldn't hear of it. 'Too far' she said, 'too dangerous' she tol' him." He could ony shrug as he pulled himself out of the boat with the help of Drake. How they managed so quickly, was beyond his comprehension. Across the lake, he couldn't help but wonder if he had seen his cousin, Blaire, and his long blonde hair.

As he departed, Blaire gave a quick look around the boathouse until a familiar face fell in his sight. "William," he proclaimed, calmly making his way through the other first-years to Madame Duke's vessel with one arm raised above his head. As he approached he went on, "William, I was wondering where you were." He knew where he'd been - Blaire had left him asleep on the train. Even as he spoke, the first-year's eyes wandered to the very visible bright red hair in the distance, noticing that the four now traveled together. He kept his gaze fixed on the group.

Before Drake could answer any questions, or rather, before Tay could notice if Drake had in fact said a word, the supposed wonderment of his previous thoughts became affirmed with one familiar voice. "Blaire," Dante beamed, proudly, as he turned around, all four feet and eleven inches of him, to meet his cousin in law.
"You know I don't like it when you call me William," this retort came as instinctively as a greeting to a stranger, but it brought a smile to his face nonetheless. "I suppose with all that hair of yours it would have been bloody impossible to see me asleep, wouldn't it?" A familiar smirk came upon his lips, which was only ever present around Blaire, his devious nature was contagious.

Drake smirked at Tay. "Least you have a say in the matter of where you go. Dad won't let me in the house again if I get put in Hufflepuff, then again I don't like the sound of being left-overs either."He said thoughtfully, sliding his hands behind his head.
"Bet I'll be in Slytherin" he laughed. My stomach growled so loudly it disturbed my cat geting food brb

Blaire smirked, and playfully nudged the boy with his elbow. "I could think of plenty things worse to call you, cousin," ignoring the comment directed at his precious locks, he added, "To the courtyard?" As per usual, Blaire didn't actually wait for a reply, but slowly proceeded through the other first-years, assuming his cousin would follow. He didn't want to let his new "friends" escape his gaze.

Of course. Tay thought, a bit relieved when he had heard that Blake wished to be sorted into Slytherin, at least that dodged that awkward conversation. It wasn't as though he was ashamed of his will to be placed into Slytherin, he just knew that he wanted people to like him.
"Slytherin? Hell, I'll probably be right there with you, if my assumptions of being cursed aren't true, that is." He commented, his golden gaze flashed towards Blake as he spoke, but veered towards Blaire the moment after.
"Oh, I'm sure you could," Tay managed to say, but Blaire had fully accomplished to redirect traffic towards the courtyard. "You coming?" Tay turned around to ask Blake before he followed his cousin up the over trodden path towards the court yard.
"It's rude to just leave people, y'know!" He called out, the stark blonde hair always made its presence known when Blaire was around, which also made it hard for him to lose sight of his pesky relative.
