"As Micha walked down the street he felt his phone go off again. He pulled it out checking the message from Samuel. Micha couldn't help but laugh at the small teasing over the phone. He couldn't make promises but he would try not to be late. Micha didn't like being late to anything. He tried to be punctual but only the subways could cause him to be late. Micha had to take the subway to get to Manhattan.

The rest of the afternoon Micha spent his time sightseeing and window shopping. He couldn't buy anything now that he had to meet up with Samuel. Micha also didn't want to have to carry a ton of bags with him either. He was content with what he was doing. Micha had brought his camera with him as well. It provided a good distraction for him though it was no different than if he was working. Micha took a few photos through the afternoon but never anything major just a few things here and there.

By time four rolled around he made his way back to the subway station. Micha checked the lines to see when the next one was coming. It would be here in ten minutes. He checked his clock and went to wait on the platform. After about ten minutes the subway finally rolled in. Micha stepped onto the subway. It was jammed back with other people who were on their way home.

He spent the next hour on the subway heading to Manhattan. Micha held onto the railing not wanting to fall. He sighed a little agitated. The ride was long for him a little so long. Once the subway rolled into Manhattan he was nervous and it wasn't even time to met Samuel. Micha got off the subway and headed toward the exit. He breathed a sigh of relief as he stepped out into the fresh air.

For the next couple of hours Micha walked around the city. He was giddy in his own way as he walked around. Micha's mind was running on high at the moment. He didn't know what to expect of the little meeting with Samuel. Last night things had not gone well and he didn't want another reenactment of last night. Micha didn't want to argue with Samuel. If that's what was going to happen it would be best if he left the first sign of an argument.

As six-thirty rolled around Micha started toward the restaurant. He hoped that Samuel wouldn't be there before him. Micha found that would be rude. He walked down the street with his messenger bag slung over his shoulder. Micha passed people who were busy trying to get home. He looked himself over. Micha didn't see anything wrong with his attire; nice shirt, good jacket, pressed slacks, and clean shoes. He hoped his attire was good enough for Samuel if not well he didn't have the time now to worry about it.

Nearing the restaurant he spotted Samuel. He sighed a little watching as Samuel looked around probably for him. Micha gathered the courage to continue walking toward him. As he neared him he was a little nervous not sure what to expect. Micha waved slightly as he was a few feet from Samuel. "Have you been waiting long?" He asked curiously hoping he didn't keep Samuel waiting especially since he was the one being asked to come eat.
                                                          "

After getting the text from Liam, Alaine didn't text back, he didn't want to bother him. With luck, he could see him tonight before being locked away in the office taking care of the stuff he'd been neglecting for the past week and a half. He spent the day sketching, smoking, and sleeping. At some point in the day, he ended up falling asleep, after finishing off six of the nine cigarettes Samuel had given him. When he woke up later that evening, it was already past eleven o'clock. He swore and jumped out of bed, hurrying into the bathroom for a quick shower and to clean up. He was beyond late and hope Liam wouldn't be too mad at him when he got to work. "Running late tonight, sorry I overslept. Be there asap." Alaine moved quickly through his room after sending the text. When he was dressed - in ratty jeans, old chucks, and an even dingier t-shirt - he rushed out, taking his phone and keys. I

t took him about an hour to get out of the city, and another half hour to make it through the Hamptons without crashing into anyone. Parking his car in back, the club was packed and a line was halfway down the block. He slipped in through the backdoor, ignoring the curious glances of his employees, already knowing what they were thinking. He made his way up towards the main room, lingering in the doorway as he peaked around to find Liam. If he was working, he wasn't going to bug him, but he atleast wanted a little peak at him. He pealed himself away from the door, creeping past the stage to go work the bar as people flooded it and complained about wanting their drink. The other bartenders smiled as he approached, knowing him to be a better skilled bartender than the three of them combined. Within minutes they were able to settle the crowd, entertaining them with tricks and charm. But the crowd was far from clear, it was going to be hours until he was able to go on break and spend time with Liam.

" Liam had spent most of his day it Johnny. He wasn't happy about it but he didn't mind. Liam had to play nice since Johnny had taken the time to come visit him. They went shopping together and had lunch. Johnny returned him home just before he had to go to work. Liam waved goodbye to Johnny as he dropped him off. He checked his phone knowing he needed to get ready. Liam went inside to grab his work bag. His piercings were still in so there was no need to deal with that. He left his apartment heading to work.

Arriving at work he didn't see Alaine's car. He could only guess he was busy elsewhere. Liam didn't mind he would see him tonight or he wouldn't. He could always call him in the morning if he didn't see him. Liam went into the building making a beeline for the lounge. He quickly changed his clothes already a little late. The doors hadn't opened but he figured the rest of the dancers were already in their places.

Liam spent his night dancing. He glanced around at the bar a few times but didn't see Alaine. Liam ignored the thought for the moment. He needed to stay focused or he would do sloppy dancing. Liam knew it was getting late but there were still a few hours before the club closed.

Without Liam's knowledge Charlie had walked into the club. He looked around trying to locate Liam. Charlie had been told by Johnny this was where Liam was working. It didn't surprise him. Liam always had a knack for using his body as a display. Charlie weaved through the crowds heading toward the bar. He took a seat noticing the bartender. Charlie looked around trying to spot Liam but didn't see him. The club was crowded a little to much for his liking.

“Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."

Samuel waited all of maybe ten minutes before Micha walked up to him. He smiled as the male waved, standing up straight and fixing his clothes. He looked the male over, not at all minding what he was wearing. In fact, he thought the look rather suited Micha just fine and that he should wear something similar more often. "Not really, I just got here." he replied, turning towards the restaurant and ushering the male towards the door. Inside, it was warm and smelled of mixed spices. The floors were made of rich, dark wood, the walls pure white and littered with awards and pictures of honored guests and family members from the last fifty years. A petite woman with wavy chestnut hair wearing nothing but Prada stood behind the hostess podium, a small bluetooth headset clinging to her ear and a pen and her cellphone glued to both hands. She looked up, surprised, as both Micha and Samuel approached her.

"Good evening Mr. Davis." she greeted shyly. Samuel smiled the same smile he gave every single one of his female patrons. "Good evening Charlotte. Usual if it's free." he replied, leaning against the podium. "Right away sir. And should I ask Chef to prepare your usual bottle?" she asked while tapping away at her phone. "No, I think tonight I'll let Chef choose. He knows how much I value his opinion." The young woman smiled politely and grabbed two menus, asking them to follow her. Samuel followed in her footsteps, feeling a few eyes upon him as he passed, but it was nothing new. After all, he was one of Manhattan's elite and it wasn't often he ate in the city. Normally he'd just go home and make something simple for himself. But tonight was different, he wanted to make up for being an a** yesterday.

He thanked the woman as she set them at Samuel's usual table in back. The area was reserved for exclusive people and was far less noisy then the main dining area up front. Little lamps decorated the center of each table which was covered by black table clothes, the room was dim and red neon lights lining the walls. Samuel sat down on one side of the table, smiling over at the male before picking up his menu and looking through the list of foods.

Alaine had been so busy appeasing patrons, that he had yet to notice Liam or his look a like at the bar. He lost count of how many drinks he had served and how many people he was serving, he only hoped someone other than him was keeping track of payment. Slowly making his way down the bar, the people moved back to the dance floor and their little nooks with their friends. He continued to look around the club as he served drinks, but it was hard to tell just where exactly Liam was with all the people flooding the club and the lights flashing in time to the music. As he made his way towards the end of the bar, that was when he spotted him. He told the other bartenders he was taking five while he moved towards the male.

"Hey." he said to Liam, smiling sheepishly. "I didn't know if you got my text. Johnny didn't give you too much s**t did he?" Alaine remembered Liam telling him once that even though he loved Johnny like family, the man could be annoying at times. Judging from their conversation earlier, it sounded like things weren't going that great this morning and he wanted to make sure things were okay. He knew it wasn't any of his business, but that didn't mean he couldn't at least try and comfort the man. He looked the male over, wondering if he was on break. It would certainly explain what he had on. He'd seen what the male normally wore when he worked and it was a lot less than what he was wearing now.

"Hearing Samuel speak he simply nodded. He followed Samuel toward the door. Micha could smell the different spices it was almost mouth watering. He smiled a little through turned his attention toward the hostess. Micha remained silent as they talked. He looked around the restaurant taking in his surroundings. Micha had never been here so he was excited about eating here.

As the hostess lead them to their table he followed. Micha took a seat opposite of Samuel. He glanced up at the hostess mumbling a thank you. Micha grabbed his menu taking a glance at Samuel. He returned his attention toward his menu after seeing the smile on his face. Micha wasn't all that interested in Italian food but he didn't mind. He wasn't picky nor was he going to complain. Micha kept his eyes adverted as he read the menu trying to decide what he wanted. Practically everything sounded good.

" As Charlie sat there looking around he noticed the bartender coming toward him. He looked the man over but nothing about him was appealing. Charlie sighed a little wishing the man hadn't noticed him. He didn't drink and wasn't in the mood for anything either. Charlie heard the bartender speak though directly not to him. He almost laughed that this man though he was Liam. Charlie wondered where his brother could be. Hearing the man talk about Johnny he wondered how how close they were and what Liam had said.

It was no surprise that Johnny and Liam had problems. They were friends but acted more like brothers at times. When they were younger Johnny and Liam always got into arguments. "When doesn't Johnny give me s**t..." Charlie spoke wondering how long he could fool this man. He wanted to know who he was to his brother but couldn't just flat out ask. It would only give him away if he did.

Alaine wished they could go somewhere else to talk. The amount of people in the room was making him uncomfortable, not to mention he wanted at least five minutes to be alone with Liam. After last night, he was craving to get another kiss out of the male. Yesterday had been perfect, it was one of the best dates he'd ever had and he was still so excited about the next one. As the male spoke, he eyed him curiously. "Hmm.....so I take it you guys are still having issues then." he said, referring to when the male said they were having family issues. He hoped he wasn't prying when he asked, but he was curious. If there was something he could do, he wanted to help. Liam was already so sweet to listen and help him with his stuff, so it was only fair he try and do the same for him.

Alaine looked the male up and down again, there was something off about him, but he didn't know what. Hearing one of the other bartenders to come and help again, he quietly excused himself, yelling back orders as he made them. They quickly went through the wave of people, and Alaine took another curious glance around the club. Even though Liam seemed to be down at the end of the bar, he just seemed like he was off. Like he was pissed about something. When the people were gone, he went back to the male, apologizing even though it wasn't his fault.

" Charlie wasn't angry merely annoyed as he sat there. He watched the man before him as he stood there. Charlie could tell that the man thought something was off. He couldn't blame him he found it amusing though. Charlie shrugged a little he didn't know what this man was talking about. He could only guess Johnny had gone and blabbed his mouth to Liam about him. Charlie shook his head a little, "Nothing I can't handle." He spoke as he felt the man watching him.

As he sat there he only wished that Liam could come over and save him. He glanced around the club spotting him inside his cage. Charlie shook his head as he sat there. He was glad to have peace for a second while the bartender went to do his job. Charlie watched as Liam finally spotted him. He smiled toward his brother whom only glared. Liam spotted Alaine speaking to his brother. He wished he knew what they were talking about. Liam hoped that Charlie hadn't been rude to give a bad impression of himself. He wished he had told Alaine before today about Charlie. Now he had to just wait and suffer to see what would happen. Charlie returned his attention to the bartender, "Don't worry about it.. Can I get a glass of red wine?" He asked the man wondering if he knew of his real age. Charlie watched the man before him as he crossed his arms leaning on the counter. The funny thing about his statement was that Liam never drank nor did he like the taste of alcohol.

Alaine nodded to the males answer, taking that as an underlining "It was none of his business".As he went about serving his customers, he continued to glance over at the male. Something was strange about, like something was going on or that he missed. He thought back about their time together but continued to come up with nothing. No bells were ringing, no warning signs were flaring, he didn't get it. Coming back to the male, he frowned down at him as he asked for a drink. "No you can't. And don't ask anyone else for one either." he replied. What was with him? The strange behavior, asking for liquor when they both knew he was underage. Alaine looked around the club again, spotting another "Liam" in a nearby cage. He looked back at the male curiously. "Excuse me, Liam". he said, pushing away from the bar and leaving everything up to the rookies.

Crossing the club, he grabbed one of the dancers who he saw on his way in, leading her to the same cage that Liam was in. "Lane, take a break." he ordered, opening the cage door so the two could get in and out. He kindly shut the door behind the woman, turning to look down at the other Liam. "So who's your look alike friend at the bar?" he asked, a playful smile on his lips. He wouldn't say he was pissed, but it was rather annoying to know that the person he was talking to wasn't his boyfriend and just some random dude pulling his leg. He looked this Liam up and down, knowing him to be the real one because he could still see a bit of the hickey he'd left on his neck the other day.

" Charlie watched the bartender to see if he would get his order. He pouted slightly as the bartender spoke not complying to his request. Though it had been a good thing. Charlie didn't drink either it was just a mere question to ask at random. He could sense that the bartender knew something was wrong with him. After all he wasn't the real Liam. Charlie followed the bartender's gaze knowing he had spotted Liam else where. He laughed almost as the man called him by his brother's name. Charlie simply nodded watching the bartender go interrogate Liam.

Liam stood in the cage as he watched with realization that Alaine knew the man before him wasn't him. He had stopped dancing almost with a fear of what Alaine would say or do. Liam watched as he grabbed another dancer coming toward him to take his place. He stepped out of the cage once Alaine opened it for him. Liam was a little self conscious as he stood clad only in black shorts. He ran a hand through his hair a little. Liam returned his attention toward Alaine whom spoke. He looked at the smile but it told a different story to him. Liam looked toward Charlie who merely waved at him. He shook his head a little, "That would be Charlie.. My twin brother." Liam spoke a little embarrassed and nervous. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before.. I didn't expect him to show up like this." He spoke motioning toward Charlie.

Alaine had never dated a twin before, he wasn't one of those guys who just sat around and fantasized about being with twins. It wasn't his thing. "Twins, huh?" he replied, looking between the two men. He was starting to notice one difference between them, for starters, Charlie had no facial hair. Whereas his brother had a bit of scruff. He looked back down at the male as he went on to apologize, shaking his head a bit. "It's fine, he didn't do much except pretend to be you. You should tell him he really sucks at it." he replied calmly, noticing how nervous the male was looking. It made him curious to know if the expression he wore was the reason for it. Samuel had told him on more than one occassion that he did look rather creepy at times when he smiled while he was pissed. Or perhaps the male the he was pissed because he didn't tell him about his family. Which of course was ridiculous since the subject hadn't come up yet. They were still new to their relationship, they could learn things as they went along.

" Charlie watched with interest from the bar. He wondered if he should go greet his brother properly. Charlie had a bad habit of pretending but only those who knew Liam well would know he wasn't his brother. He found amusement in teasing others. Charlie didn't see a problem with pretending to be Liam. Though it took the amusement out of it when the bartender figured it out. He hoped it wouldn't take long. Charlie was simply testing the man.

Liam returned his attention toward Alaine as he spoke. He nodded simply, "Yes, twins." Liam spoke watching as Alaine looked toward Charlie. He sighed with annoyance for Charlie mostly popping up as he pleased. Charlie had a knack for annoying him when he was around. Liam smiled at Alaine as he spoke about Charlie pretending to be him. "Yes, well it's a game of his..He likes to test people as well." He spoke glad that Alaine had realized Charlie wasn't him. Liam looked toward Charlie whom was making his way toward the crowd.

Charlie slipped off the stool and walked toward Liam and the bartender. Liam glanced toward him dreading his brother. Charlie smiled at Liam, "Don't look so grim.. You didn't call me..If you had you would know I was coming." He spoke before looking toward Alaine. Charlie eyed the man curiously, "Your lucky.. this man here.. does not like my jokes." He spoke laughing a little. Liam glanced toward Charlie, "Quit it Remy." He spoke toward Charlie whom only glared. "Do not call me Remy." Charlie spoke a little harshly toward Liam. He hated his middle name.

Liam looked toward Alaine, "I'm sorry.. Um Charlie. This is Alaine.. my boyfriend." He spoke not sure if Alaine wanted Charlie to not but it was the best thing at the moment. Charlie immediately took aware of Alaine and nodded. "Alaine..Nice to meet you.. I'm guessing Liam here didn't tell you about me yet. Though know surprise.. I'm Charlie, obvious the twin." He spoke taking amusement in that word. Charlie didn't mind being a twin. As a child he played games with the ideas even now.

“We are what we are, neither a good or as bad as others paint us. And what we are doesn't change how truly we feel, only how free we are to follow those feelings.”

Lifting an eyebrow, he was curious as to what kind of test it was the other male liked to put people through. Was it something similar to his own to see if he could trust others or not? He didn't ask, figuring it again to be none of his business. He followed his boyfriends' gaze as the other came towards them. Alaine towered over them both by about a foot, looking from one twin to the other. So alike yet so different. He watched with interest as the two taunted one another, not getting what was so wrong with the name the one was called, but clearly understanding it wasn't a liked name.

As Liam turned to him, he shook his head, no apology needed. He nodded to Charlie as he was introduced by the male, extending a hand as the other introduced himself. "Pleasure to meet you as well. As your brother already explained, I'm Alaine Chambers. I'm co-owner of this establishment, and in answer to your question, no Liam didn't tell me anything about you. We haven't really gotten around to talking about our past and families much." he replied awkwardly. Alaine wasn't sure how he felt being around Charlie, even though he wore the same face as his boyfriend, that didn't mean after being deceived he was going to instantly warm back up to him. After shaking the other's hand, he quickly withdrew it, fidgeting a bit as he stood there, not sure if Charlie picked up on his unease. He wouldn't doubt for a second though that Liam had on the other hand, what with everything the man knew about him thus far.

"Playing games just wasn't something that Charlie did was strangers. He even played it with the family members. No one in their family could tell them apart at times if they were together. Liam thought it was fun long ago as a child but it no longer amused him. They weren't alike really except by appearance. Charlie watched Alaine as he extended his hand. He took it shaking it slightly though he didn't really care. Liam watched Charlie and Alaine curious about the situation. He glanced at Alaine noticing the awkward side of things. Liam didn't see a need to force himself to introduce himself to Charlie.

Charlie glanced over at Liam, "Boyfriend of the establishment.. How nice." He spoke looking around a little. Liam was annoyed as he stood there. "Charlie what do you want? I'm busy." He spoke looking over at Charlie who only smiled. "What I can't come and drop by to visit my brother?" Liam was tired of standing here. He folded his arms, "Halte. . Vous pourriez avoir ramassé le god damn téléphone." [Drop by.. You could have picked up the god damn phone.] Liam spoke a little agitated now that Charlie was trying to play dumb. Charlie turned on his brother looking at him, "Français.. Pas nice Liam. Parler anglais devant d'autres." [French.. Not nice Liam. Speak English in front of others.] Liam sighed a little hating when Charlie got annoyed for him speaking in French. It was his alternative language, the one he reverted to when he was angry.
