"Liam relaxed into the seat as the male drove out of the parking lot. He was still tired but managed to stay awake through the drive. Liam didn't mind coming over to the male's house, after all it was his choice to come over. He closed his eyes for awhile as the male drove on through the city. Liam didn't care where the male went to eat, he wasn't going to eat much anyways. He was willing to pay for the meal, after all it was only fair. Liam sat silently in the car with the male. He didn't know what to talk about really. It didn't seem like it took long for the male to drive to where they were going to eat. As the car stopped and the male got out, he opened his eyes getting out as well. Liam followed the male toward the door, not sure what he wanted from here. This was one of the places he had never been before. He had heard they were good and had always wanted to try it. "

Alaine slowed his pace a bit when he heard the male getting out of the car. "You okay?" he asked curiously. The whole ride over was quiet and to him a little awkward. He wasn't much of a talker in the mornings, but he had at least wondered if they could maybe talk a bit. It was the first time he had ever warmed up to someone like he did to Liam. It was weird, exciting, he was anxious to get to know more about the male. He just couldn't seem to wrap it around his head what it was about him that made him think it was okay to take down his defenses the way he did. He kept his hands to himself as he walked up to the entrance and stepped inside the resturant.Thankfully, the place was near empty and there was plenty of time that they wouldn't have to rush and could take their time eating.

"Liam followed behind the male, seeing he was slowing down. He walked next to the male, hearing him speak. Liam didn't know what to say to the male. He was fine, in some sense but still on edge a little. Perhaps he was just worried how things would go between them, or that nothing would happen. Laim liked the male, he just didn't know what the male thought of him really. After last night and this morning, he couldn't help but want to know him better. He knew nothing about the male, his past, his secrets; nothing. Liam glanced over at the male and nodded, "Yeah just tired that's all." In truth he was tired, he had only slept a few hours, but to him it was mere minutes. He had never slept that long before, but found it odd that with the male he could relax, with his other relationships either it be family, friends, lovers; he could never relax the way he did. Liam followed the male into the restaurant and looked around. He walked toward the counter, looking at the menu not sure what to order. Liam looked back at the male, "What do you normally get from here?" He asked curiously, not sure what he wanted since he wasn't hungry but knew he should eat otherwise. "

Alaine smiled sympathetically at the male. He felt his pain, going to bed at near four and waking up at twenty to nine just wasn't enough time to get a decent nights sleep. But given the current situation, he just couldn't think of any better way to get the male back to the Hamptons. Sure he could drop him off at his place, but how was he supposed to get to work later tonight? This way, in his mind, seemed like it would be both the fastest and simplest way."Well hopefully the traffic isn't too bad on the way. Sooner you get your car, the sooner you can go back home and sleep." he said encouragingly. Alaine watched the male curiously as they walked inside, he wondered if it was the males first time eating here. As they made their way to the counter, they were greeted by a far too cheerful young woman. Bright side though, she was polite and told them to go ahead when they were ready. He took a glance over the menu, although he was already pretty sure of what he wanted and was already pulling out his wallet when he heard the males curious tone. He looked up with his wallet in hand. "I usually just go for the #1 combo and grab buy an extra sandwich. You should try it, it's pretty good." he replied. The number one combo was his favorite. It consisted of a honey fried chicken sandwich, tater tots, and a large drink. The sandwich was a little larger than his fist and tasted incredible. He wasn't normally one for chicken so early in the morning, but if it was coming from Chik-fil-a, he had no problems with it.

"Liam knew he wouldn't sleep once he got home. He had things to do when he got home, since he didn't work till later tonight. Liam looked over at the male as he spoke, and shook his head, "I've gotten all the sleep I could get. After all it's been a while since I've slept." He replied looking over at the male, smiling slightly. Liam looked over at the female as she spoke, seeming to cheerful to him. He nodded slightly, not sure how some people could be cheerful. Liam returned his attention back to the male, seeing him pull out his wallet. He listened as the spoke of what he ordered. Liam looked up at the menu, it sounded really good to him actually. "I'll pay." He replied looking back at the male's wallet. Liam didn't find it fair for the male to pay for two meals already for them. It was the least he could do after the male had bought him food, and let him crash at his house. "

Alaine rose an eyebrow at the male. What dd he mean by that? He didn't want to pry so he didn't ask. But it worried him all the same. He never knew an insomniac before, so he didn't really understand it. He knew that it meant the person never got slept, but the idea was odd. Did the male stay up for days? Weeks? How long had it been since he last slept? And if it had been a good while, why did staying with him seem to help? He shook his head, not going to let it worry him. Maybe when they sat down, he would try to get to know the male more. As Alaine was about to order and pull out some money, the male again caught his attention. He bit his bottom lip, feeling hesitant. "You sure?" he asked, his hand still on his wallet. Alaine wasn't too keen about letting people pay for him. He blamed his independent attitude. He had no problem with paying for both their meals again, besides, it wasn't like he used his money for much else. Food, medicine, and other living essentials, that was it. Adding that all up, it easily left him with a good couple hundred each week. Buying for another wouldn't kill him.

"Liam glanced over at the male, as he seemed to look at him oddly. He didn't know why but he could sense it. Liam cursed himself slightly, not sure if he should have said that. He looked away from the male, as he looked back at the menu. Liam wanted to keep himself quiet now. He didn't want the male to look at him oddly like that, it made him feel uncomfortable in away. Liam looked at the male as he spoke, seeing he wasn't sure if he wanted the male to buy him breakfast. He smiled at the male, "Yes, put it away." Liam replied as he walked toward the counter to order. The cheerful female stood at the counter ready to take their order. He gave the woman his order, ordering the number one off the menu as the male had suggested. Liam looked over at the male, as he pulled out his own wallet from his pocket. "

Alaine continued to stare at the male oddly, he was hesitant to replace his wallet. He wasn't used to people paying for him. He rarely went on dates or ate out with people in general, and when he did, he usually just paid for both meals or paid his half of a bill. After another moment passed and Liam had ordered for both of them, Alaine stuffed his wallet back into his back pocket. But as the male pulled out his own wallet, he saw that he had no choice and the matter wasn't open for debate. He leaned against the counter, taking his cup when the woman set out a tray and place two empty cups faced down. He took it and walked over to the little area with napkins, drink machines, straws, etc. Without giving it much thought, he pressed his cup to the tap for Diet Coke.Gotta love the diet crap. It was the only way he could drink his favorite beverages without having to worry about his blood sugar going sky high. After topping off his drink, he popped a top onto the cup, grabbed a straw and went to stand back beside the male, leaning against the counter while bubbles got their order together.

Liam smiled at the male seeing him put his wallet back into his pocket. He had ordered for them, along with paying for both their meals. Liam glanced over at the male seeing him fill his cup. He couldn't understand why the male chose Diet, but it was his choice. Liam hated Diet anything, but he could understand since the male was diabetic. He sighed softly, as they put together their order. Liam glanced over at the male, wondering if the male always paid, or if he had ever gone out on dates before. He wasn't sure if he considered this a date or just two people getting breakfast. Either way he didn't care at the moment, he didn't want to push it. He grabbed the tray once their food was ready. Liam lead the way over to a table, setting the tray down, before walking over to get his own drink. He chose Dr. Pepper, for himself. Liam grabbed some ketchup before returning to the table to sit down. "

Alaine didn't fuss or complain as he watched the male pay for his meal, even though he was actually craving to beg the male to just let him pay for himself. He didn't like owing people money or paying for anything for him. He was the type of person, where if he didn't have the money for it, he obviously didn't need it. But since this matter wasn't open for discussion, he quietly bit his tongue and waited beside the male. When their order was ready, he took his drink and followed the male to a small table for two, sitting across from him and taking what was his as the male walked off to get his own drink and whatever else he needed. When Liam returned, Alaine smiled politely at the male, "Thank you for the food." he said softly before glancing back down at his food. He unwrapped the foil from one of his sandwiches and took a small bite, all the while, his brain was buzzing with questions. He chewed his food slowly, trying to think what he should ask first. After swallowing his food, he wiped his mouth and took a sip from his drink. "So what are you going to do after I drop you off?" he asked curiously, going with the first question that popped into his head. He knew it would be awhile until the male had to be to work and he mentioned that he wouldn't be sleeping, so it left him curious.

"As he sat down, he heard the male speak. He nodded slightly, as he took a sip from his drink, "Your welcome." Liam replied smiling at the male, as he grabbed his own sandwich and unopened it. He took a bite out of it, before setting it down. Liam was surprised he actually liked the sandwich. He grabbed his tator tots, and continued to eat his breakfast. It was an odd breakfast, but he didn't mind it was good and worth coming here this morning. Liam looked over at the male as he spoke, he shrugged slightly, "I don't know really. I have to go home and feed Elsie, probably need to pay bills, and need to do some things around the house." He replied thinking about it, not sure what else he had to do. Liam probably should check his messages and return all his calls, but he wasn't in the mood. He glanced over at the male looking at him curiously, "And yourself, what are you doing after work?" Liam asked as well, trying to make conversation with the male, as he ate and sipped on his soda. "

Alaine nodded at the males' answer; how mundane. But it wasn't as though he expected the male to be doing anything that exciting once he left him. He took another bite out of his sandwich, glancing up at the male as he questioned him. He held up a hand to have the male wait while he finished chewing. After swallowing, he again wiped his mouth out of habit. "Depends on when I get off. If I get out of there at a decent time then I have a date with my endocrinologist. Otherwise, who knows. Might just hang around and bug Sam. Got nothing else to do." It was true. All his bills were paid, he didn't have that many friends in the city to hang out with, and he wasn't in the mood to be calling back his last "visitor" from the other night. Liam had seen his house, proof he had nothing else worth mentioning to do at home. Alaine almost wished he didn't have to see his endocrinologist, he just knew he was going to get another lecture. He could just hear his doctor now, "So Mr. Chambers, care to tell me why you don't like to keep to your medications?" or possibly, "Mr. Chambers, it appears you've gained another three pounds since your last visit. Are you keeping to your diet?" He shook his head, trying to get the thoughts out of his head. He didn't need to be thinking about his doctor this early in the morning. "Um....about that kiss earlier, if you wanna forget about it, it's fine. I really don't even know what I was thinking when I did that." he said, again saying the first thing that came to mind and was likely to keep the conversation rolling. He knew it was a little embarrassing for them both, but he felt like he needed to say something about it. But it wasn't like Liam had pushed him away or anything negative nor had he said anything. Alaine was at a loss on how to exactly take the males reaction. A blush was nothing to him, he blushed like a virgin all the time and he was more than curious to know what the male thought about him kissing him like that. They'd been so playful and touchy-feely with one another, that it was like they had known each other for years instead of hours.

He smiled at the male as he held up his hand for him to wait a second. Liam nodded, as he continued to eat his breakfast. He took in the male's words, seeing the male had a day planned of some sorts; work, doctors then nothing really. "Ah, Sounds fun." Liam replied trying to sound enthusiastic but he disliked the doctors, any sort. He preferred to stay away from them, if it was possible. Liam wasn't sure what else he would do today, perhaps go do a few other things, but he didn't know till then. He continued to eat, almost finished with his sandwich as he was moving onto his tatortots. Liam glanced up at the male as he spoke again, surprised at his words but of course he should have expected it. He felt crestfallen but didn't know what to say to the male. Liam knew nothing had gone on between them, just a simple one night stand was the best way to put it but without the sex. He looked up at the male, not sure to take him seriously at his words, but perhaps he was being serious. After all relationships didn't seem in the male's nature to him. Liam nodded in an understanding, "Of Course. After all it was just nothing." He replied, lying to the male. To Alaine, it was nothing but to him it was something. It wasn't as if he went around kissing people, and sleeping in their beds. If the male wanted him to forget then perhaps he should. Liam couldn't seem them getting together any time soon after all, it was a one time thing. He wanted to get to know the male better, but perhaps it was better to just leave it as it was. "

Alaine gave the table a disgusted look. Fun? Bullocks. A date with his endocrinologist was about as fun as getting a root canal. It was safe to say he and his doctor did not get along. "Not really." he replied. "I can bet you five bucks, he's gonna bust my chops again for being reckless, not sticking to my diet, and probably any and every other problem he can find.....I hate going to the doctor." Alaine gave the male a pouty "woe is me" look before breaking out into a grin and continuing to east his meal. After saying what he did about the kiss, he heard the male speak a few minutes later. He paused in his chewing, his heart dropping at the males words. That wasn't what he wanted to hear. He'd hoped like hell the male would have said something different because to Alaine, it wasn't just a kiss. Sure he slept with plenty of men, but those were simple flings, a one night stand. They meant absolutely nothing to him. It was true that Alaine hadn't been in a lot of relationships, but he had his reasons. Reason number one, Liam just proved to him; the men he liked never took him seriously. He nodded his head at the males words, "Yeah....nothing." he said more to himself than to the male. Alaine finished up his chicken sandwich and picked at his tater tots. He was suddenly not feeling so hungry. What could the male be thinking? Was it because of the rumors about him? Was he just stringing him along? Alaine finished off two more tots before pushing it away and crumpling up his foil. He took the insulin pen out of his pocket and quietly excused himself from the table, walking quickly to the restroom. 'Don't.....it's okay.' he told himself, standing before a mirror with his hands on the sink and glaring at his reflection. He was a fool to think the male would have thought there was deeper meaning behind his kiss. With this in mind, he looked away from his reflection, gave himself his daily shot without testing his levels and quietly returned to the table.

"Liam watched as the male left for the bathroom. He knew something was wrong, but didn't want to ask. Liam stood up from the table, and walked over to the counter. He grabbed a pen from the woman at the counter, before returning to the table. Liam grabbed the napkin as he wrote something out to the male and left it on the table.

He cleared off the table, just leaving the napkin, before leaving the restaurant. Liam was lucky he had his phone at least. He had heard stories about the male, but thought not to believe them. Liam thought the male was different, different enough to him, but it seemed he wasn't. He walked down the street leaving the parking lot, not wanting to speak to the male. Liam didn't want to have to explain himself either, he pulled his phone from out of his pocket, he dialed in Johnny's number. The phone rang twice before it was picked up. It was good he could always rely on the male to pick up his phone. "Bonjour?" Johnny's voice came over the line as he continued down the street. He wasn't that far from the male's house luckily so he could get him to pick him up. "Matin. Desole de vous deranger. Pouvez-vous venir me chercher?" Liam asked, as he stopped walking. He didn't want to get to far and get lost.

Johnny shifted slightly on the bed, since Liam had woken him up. "Bien sur. Ou etes-vous?" He replied, as he got off the bed, and began to get dressed. It wasn't every often Liam called him this early in the morning, so there could have been something wrong. "Down the street near the Chick-Fil-A. " He replied running a hand through his hair. Liam sighed softly into the phone, "Sure be there in five." With that he hung up the phone. "
