Eve shrugged it off, she didn't mind. "It's perfectly all right. Yes, I'm in Slytherin. Lovely to meet you Edd, my name's Eve." She always had good manners, even if it made her seem like someone's Victorian grandmother. "Something's bothering you, it's a little obvious. Here, let me be your therapist." She sat down cross-legged and gestured for Edd to do the same.

Edd smirked at Eve as she sat on the floor and moved there as well, crossing his legs. With a sigh, he started, "This is going to sound really petty, I guess. That's what Gracie said, at least. Basically, my twin brother Erik got a girlfriend. We used to do everything together before Verily came into the picture. But now he's spending all his time with her. It kinda gets me really upset, since I hardly see him anymore. And that's why I'm sitting here, by myself, moping in a dark corner."
Eve listened, and smiled at Edd empathetically. "That's not petty, I would be just as distraught, You see, I have a twin brother as well. I just don't see him because we're in different houses," she said simply. "Maybe you could tell your brother what you're feeling?"

"He knows what I feel. I see it in his eyes when he we talk." He shrugged. "I guess we have to grow up eventually. I can't always have my brother. He has to get married eventually." Edd sighed and shrugged again.
Eve nodded sympathetically. "I'm sorry. Though. Your brother isn't going to just run off. He's still going to be your brother, and neither of you can change that. My advice is to try and branch out a little as well, make some new friends. I call first," she said with a smile. "I think if it's really bothering you after that you should talk to him. Even if he knows, communication is still healthy."
(( I'm SOOOO sorry I kept you waiting this long! I'm awful sad ))

He smiled when she said she wanted to be the first of his new friends and nodded. "Well Eve, you definitely are." He leaned back, stretching his back and sighed. "It's such a nice day. Want to take a walk down by the lake?"
Eve smiled, her eyes glittering. She rose to her feet in one fluid movement, and looked forward. "Likewise," she said delicately. She looked back at Edd. "That would be lovely," she said, and looked out at the lake from where they were, craning her neck. She pulled a tie out of her pocket and pulled her hair up while she waited patiently for Edd to join her.

Edd smiled and stood up, stretching again. "Aw, my butt fell asleep," he said and laughed. "So Eve, shall we?" he asked, a smirk crawling onto his face.
Eve laughed. "That's rather unfortunate," she said. With a smile, she started walking. "We shall," she called. Grinning, she waited for him to catch up.

He smiled at her and offered his arm to escort her down to the lake. He didn't know why, but he felt safe around Eve, like everything was alright. This would be a fun walk down by the lake.

Del walked around the place, running his fingers along the rough surface of the brick walls, enjoying the feel of the rock under his skin. It was cold, and small, sharp edges ran smoothly on his fingers, not enough pressure to dig into them or cut. Stopping at the window, the blonde looked out, propping his chin on a curled fist. It was high up.
He wondered how long he would fall if he jumped.
Leaning a bit out the window, blue eyes were wide in awe, mouth a little 'o' shape as he looked over and down the structure, watching the grey fog somewhere down, down there roll in the chilly, post-autumn, pre-winter air. He was excited for winter, but he would miss this damp, dank greyness and everything that came with it. Could he land on the bridge? Maybe levitate himself? Could he even levitate oneself? Lightening charms? Del barely noticed he was almost halfway out the window. The structure of cable and sandy stone stretched out before him, waiting to be explored.

Luke was hardly looking around as he stormed away from his, no, the Gryffindor common room. After all, he was sick of all of the drama in the house, and he was done. They could bicker all they wanted, they could throw him to the wolves for all he cared, but he was tired of it. Sick and tired of all the drama. He sighed, running a hand through his own flaming hair and rolling his eyes. Maybe he should dye it blonde or something? After all, it was the same color as that houses color, and he wanted nothing more to do with them.
When he came to the bridge, he paused, looking at a peculiar sight. Was that... Del, trying to jump out of a window? Frowning, he approached his cousin, about ready to yank him out of the window. Seriously, why was he doing that? Luke hoped his cousin wasn't contemplating flying or something like that.
He considered the way Del was leaning out and cocked an eyebrow. If it were him, it would look like he was trying to find someone to drop stinkbombs on, but he doubted Del would do that. Instead, he considered the only other reason he would."Hva gjør du, egentlig? Sightseeing?"
Location: Suspension Bridge State: Annoye... What is he doing? OOC: Translation: You know, there are a lot more effective means to fly than throwing yourself out of a window. Granted, you probably won't get the same thrills, but it would be a lot less messy should you fail to launch yourself. What are you doing, anyway? Seeing the sights?

I wonder if I can recreate it as well as the other if I used a different medium....? Del took in the sight of the structure below, trying to memorize and approximate its measurements for his next attempted project. He was doing pretty well then- - - at least, until the sudden voice from behind him sounded and startled the hell out of him, sending the Norwegian lurching forward- - - ohmygodhewasgoingtodie- - - until he caught hold of the edges of the little window again and prevented his blonde self from hurtling to his doom. When finally inside the tower- - - all of him, mind you- - - he took a look at who had spoken.
"Åminjævla Gud, du skremte meg --- Ikke gjør det, du esel!" the blonde cried in exasperation, punching his cousin's shoulder. He wasn't normally that violent- - - or vulgar- - - but he had nearly hurtled down to his squishy, messy death. No more Del the ditz. Just Del the smear-on-the-stones. His eyes went slightly wide and he paled. Shaking his head to rid himself of the thought, Del slid down to the floor, palms pressing firmly against the stone again. Glaring up at Luke, the blue stare softened in concern when he took in the other's countenance and subsequently, his appearance.
No robes.
No tie.
No badge.
Scooting over, Del patted the patch of floor next to him, indicating with his head for the other to sit. "Sett deg ned, kom igjen," Del inveigled, looking up at his cousin with his 'pretty eyes,' hoping to at least coax a smile out of him, if not complete acquiescence. "Fortell meg hva som skjedde." On that side note, the younger blonde turned more solemn, addressing the current issue at hand. Del waited patiently for his cousin to take a seat so they could begin

Luke took the punch to the shoulder with a bit of good humor. After all, Magni sometimes did that, and well, Del wasn't nearly as strong as their relative was. Besides, he kinda deserved it since he did scare the bejezzus out of him just now. He couldn't help it though. The reaction was much too good to pass up a chance to see it. Which of course meant that as soon as someone noticed his lack of robes or tie, he was going to come off of his humor. He slid down next to his cousin, briefly wondering if anyone would wonder why the older boy would know the younger one. He rolled his eyes at his cousin, thinking that maybe he could tell the younger boy. After all, he'd never known Del to judge anyone for anything.
"Du ville ikke tilfeldigvis vet om et sted jeg kan sove i slottet, gjør du?"He said it in a slightly joking tone, but he was anything but joking."Jeg plutselig finne meg selv i behov av et nytt sted å gå siden jeg bare slutte å være en Gryffindor."Briefly he wondered if it had ever happened before, but shook his head. He seriously doubted it though. Everyone seemed to fit right in with their house, except for him. Maybe there was a club he could start for the missorted?
Location: Suspension Bridge State: Annoye... What is he doing? OOC: Translation: You wouldn't happen to know a place I can sleep in the castle, do you? I am suddenly finding myself in need of a new place to go since I just quit being a Gryffindor.

The younger blonde blinked. Luke what? "Jeg skjønner," the blonde looked down at his shoes. That would explain the obvious lack of any house allegiance. He must have done something to it. "Det er ganske uheldig," Del amended, smiling wryly. That's a pretty situation that Luke had gotten there. I wonder how it happened? He could see the topic sort of touched on borderline sore for his relative, so he made sure to keep his tone light but enough to say he was taking it seriously as well. "Så dritt gikk ned, da?"
It wasn't completely oblivious to the rest of the school that something was stirring in Gryffindor.
"Trenger jeg å ta vare på noen spesielt?" he asked innocently, blue eyes wide in his best imitation of a puppy-eyed pout. Given his background with familial relations, the blonde was definitely more than protective of his remaining relations. Del was actually a dangerous little bugger when he had to be. They travelled to some not-so-savoury places, and there were always a few people who disagreed with what he and his father and their colleagues thought. It wouldn't often get physical, but on the occasions that it did, it was far from pretty. The smile morphing into a cheery grin, Del bit on his finger again, mulling over any possibilities for Luke's predicament, or, at least, a temporary solution. "Du kan prøve camping ut i kjøkkenet, tror jeg. Alvene er ikke gjerrig med sin plass, og mat," he finally said. He couldn't think of much at the moment, but then again, he was new to the place. "Også, de ville vite mange ting," Del continued. After all, they cleaned the entire castle. "De ville være i stand til å hjelpe deg enda mer," he finished with a smile.

I see. That is quite unfortunate. So, sh*t went down, then? Do I need to take care of anybody?
You could try camping out in the kitchens, I think. The elves are not stingy with their space, and food.
Also, they'd know many things. They would be able to help you even more.
