$Bréanainn Cian Conri$ Charm's Professor||Former Gryffindor||Former Quidditch Player
⊗⊗⊗⊗⊗ Bréanainn listened to her carefully, taking in that she wasn't a dueler and that she was terrible at Transfiguration. That fact actually made him chuckle because all of what her power was was Transifiguration, but she just had a natural ability to do it. So, he figured that it was actually possible for her to be terrible at Transfiguration, but he never knew how likely it was. But, he had to go with what she told him, which meant she was positively horrid. "Yeah, t'at is a little hypocritical, but hey, you were one of t'e lucky ones to be born wit' it," he said to her, a small smile on his face as a gesture of niceness.
As soon as he realized it, she looked like what seemed to be her sister. Her sister seemed to be pretty cute too...for what it was...looks must've ran in the family, but he was more surprised by the fact that she looked completely different now and wasn't the girl he was out with. It was honestly a crazy power and Bréanainn really wondered how far it went, but he wouldn't ask about that sort of thing, because that was just a man's train of thought.
"Well, t'at was certainly interesting," he said to her as she turned back to her normal self. "And I suppose we can walk around a bit before we actually go somewhere," he said to her, shrugging his shoulder and escorting her out. ⊗⊗⊗⊗⊗ OOC: I suppose we can go to the Streets? Can you post there?

Kenny walked into the building, holding the door open for Jojo. He was nervous, and his palms were sweating, but at least he knew she liked him. Especially after that kiss they had in the halls of the school. While yes, he had a boyfriend before, it wasn't quite the same, and he was sure that Jojo had never had a boyfriend. He'd never seen any in any case. Only her hanging around some kid in Slytherin that he knew for a fact was gay. Far more gay than he was. He shoved his hands into his pockets as he walked over to a table and took a seat, already trying to figure out what he was going to have. It was a lunch date, for all intents and purposes. He knew for a fact that he'd never go near the teashop, and Three Broomsticks was out completely for some gay date reason that he didn't quite understand. Sighing, he looked over toward Jojo and gave her a small smile, still nervous, but not nearly as nervous as he was in the hallway. "So, how was your trip down to the village, and want to order now or just wait a bit first? Or, umm, you know..." He had honestly never been on a date, but he at least knew how they should go. However, he had completely buggered up asking her with how he stuttered and rambled, so hopefully the date would go much better.

spaceJojo flushed crimson when the very first thing Kenny did once they'd sat down was ask about her 'trip to the village', which had been the excuse she'd given him for why she wasn't walking from the castle to the cafe with him. She'd been very purposefully vague about her reason for needing to do something beforehand, namely because she didn't want to admit to either of the reasons for why she'd not walked with him. Firstly, she was trying to minimize the possible amount of time on this date spent in awkward silence; it was pretty much unavoidable, but at least she'd saved them the trouble of that whole walk with it. Now they at least had the excuse of trying to figure out what they wanted to eat, and then actually eating, to cover up why they weren't talking. She had a feeling there would be a lot of not talking. She certainly wasn't about to do much of it, which was probably not the best sign.
spaceThe second reason, though, that was the one she didn't want him to find out about, namely because it was honestly sort of embarrassing. She didn't want to ever in a million years have to tell him that she'd had to stop by her father's best friend's place to get the woman to slap some sense into her and convince her to actually go through with going on this date, and to reassure her that she looked like a girl that someone would actually want to go on a date with. She was still a little flustered by the bare shoulder, but dammit, she wanted to look.. flirty. Or something. Maybe she should've worn a dress... Ugh. Somehow this was worse than the date with Jesse, already. But, she knew why that was, obviously. When Jesse had asked her out, she'd said yes more out of shock than anything else. Kenny, on the other hand... She'd been crushing on him, hard. For months. Obviously she was much more invested in this going well than the other. That didn't mean she had very high hopes, though.
spaceShe shrugged, hoping that he wouldn't press her and ask what she'd been up to. "It was fine? I just had, um, something to take care of." 'I woke up this morning and almost bailed on you' wasn't something she was going to say, but it was certainly something she'd thought. It had taken almost a literal slap from Belle to convince her to go on the damn date. It was nerve-wracking, and all she could think about was how whatever Kenny thought about her that'd made him ask her out, she didn't see it. When she'd told the Slytherin at breakfast that she'd meet him at the cafe rather than walking with him, that hadn't been her intention; she'd been meaning to call it off. But, somehow she'd even lost her nerve for that, not able to break off the plans to his face. Her breeding wouldn't allow her to simply stand him up; hell, that was one of the only areas on which her great-grandparents had gotten it right. So, she'd decided, on the spur of the moment, that before she went on the date, she needed some tough love. Thankfully, he hadn't pressed then for the why. She was hoping he wouldn't now.
spaceShe buried herself in a menu, shrugging at him. "Um, I don't even know what I'm getting? I haven't been here before..." Her dad favored The Three Broomsticks, so she'd always eaten there. But somehow going on a date with Kenny at the same place she'd gone on one with Jesse wigged her out. Probably because she still wasn't entirely convinced that Kenny wasn't gay, considering her luck. She'd tried convincing herself that he'd seemed pretty into kissing her in the hallway, but her dad had managed to get her mum pregnant with her in spite of his total gayness, so that sort of shot that theory down. "I, uh. But, we should figure that out. What we're eating, I mean. Better to get that taken care of," she told him, thinking that the longer it took her to figure out what she wanted, the less time she had to keep blushing and um-ing and generally making herself completely unappealing. It probably wasn't the best sign that her game plan was to do as little talking as possible, but she didn't exactly have a stellar record talking to him, so it was probably better to play it safe. Sadly, she didn't think he'd carry the conversation very well, considering he was possibly even quieter than she was. It wasn't her natural state, it was just what she reverted to when she was nervous or anxious. Him, on the other hand... quiet. So, yeah, it was probably best that they order food, so they could at least pretend the lack of conversation was because they were stuffing their faces.

Kenny watched as Jojo flushed at Kenny's question, but he hoped that he hadn't asked something difficult. Unless she was embarrassed about something. He could completely understand that. However her answer made him curious, but he squashed the urge to ask her what she has to take care of. Certainly it wasn't like him if he had accidentally stolen something, again. He'd of course been so nervous about the date that he accidentally swiped someone's pocketwatch. He had yet to return it, but that's because he wasn't sure who he swiped it from. It was currently sitting in his pocket and he intended to keep it there and maybe drop it off on the counter here for someone to give it to its owner. When he was well away from here, that was. He just stayed silent, thinking that Jojo was probably not wanting to hear that the guy she kissed was a klepto.
Kenny watched as she examined her menu and frowned. She... She was really nervous, wasn't she? He frowned, trying to figure this out, before he decided to lean across and push her menu down. She kind of reminded him of Rhys, when his brother would hide behind a book for hours when he didn't want to face anyone. Which made him think that she must be a lot of the same way, just not to the extreme case of Rhys's sudden muteness. "Umm, Jojo, you're, um, you're not scared or nervous or something, right? I, um, I mean, I did ask you out. You didn't have to say yes if you didn't want to be here." He was so stupid, wasn't he? He must have pushed, and she didn't find the courage to say no. Rhys had those tendencies sometimes, and he was suddenly worried that he might push Jojo into a panic attack. He knew how to handle Rhys during those times, he didn't know how to handle Jojo.

spaceJojo visibly relaxed when he didn't press further about her 'errand.' She was still incredibly tense, but it was obvious that she'd calmed down at least that little bit, which was something, she supposed. Hiding behind the menu, she almost managed to chill out, but then he lowered it so that he could see her, and she tensed again. Her eyes widened until she resembled an owl, face paling somewhat. She hadn't really expected him to be so... assertive. Then again, maybe she shouldn't have been so surprised. She'd kissed him first in the hall, but he'd not exactly hesitated to fire back. And his kiss had been a lot more... serious, than hers. It'd been an actual, proper kiss, not just some quick press of lips on lips. She was still dealing with the butterflies from that one.
spaceHis question made her freeze, hands clenching on the menu. Oh, she was bloody terrified right now. And nervous didn't even scratch the surface. But the idea that she didn't want to be on the date... Well, okay, she had almost cancelled on him. But it wasn't because she didn't want to be on the date, just... She didn't really know how to explain it. She didn't want to be here... but it was only because she wanted so very badly to be here. And because she just knew this couldn't go well, and when it was over... She swallowed hard. Sheesh, he thought she didn't want to be here. She... She needed to correct that. If nothing else, at least he wouldn't think she'd said yes because she'd been afraid to say no. Even if it was possibly the most embarrassing thing she'd ever have to say.
space"I... I want..." She swallowed hard, forcing herself to meet his eyes, hands shaking ever so slightly. She could do this. She could! It wasn't fair to him if she didn't. "I'm... really g-glad you asked me. And I w-want to be here. But... but I'm not... I don't... I don't g-get it. Why you asked me." 'I'm weird and awkward and not very pretty and not very fun and not very anything,' she wanted to say, but held her tongue for two reasons. The first being that it was utterly pathetic, but the second was that she was pretty sure she couldn't get the words out even if she had tried. "I... I've never... I mean I went on a date once, but, um, it was j-just an experiment? Jesse's, like, super gay." Again, she kept the remainder of the thought to herself, not caring to add that half the reason she was so freaked out about this was the worry that it'd be a repeat experience.
spaceShe took a deep breath, not really sure what he would say, but steeling herself for the worst. What the worst was, she had no idea, but at least if it didn't turn out quite so awful, she'd be pleasantly surprised. That'd be nice. 'At least it could've been worse.' Like that wasn't the story of her life at this point. The blonde chewed her lip a little, finally relaxing the death grip she'd had on the menu somewhat. "I'm... I'm sorry. I just... I figured... if I stayed quiet, I w-wouldn't... I wouldn't say s-something stupid. I just, I don't want f-for you to wish you h-hadn't asked me out."
spaceWell, that shot that plan all to hell, she thought. There was honest, and there was too honest, and she was being way too honest. Why had she even said that? She should've quit while she was ahead. "Yes I want to be here," that's all she needed to say, right? Instead she'd blabbed about how nervous she was and given him way too much insight into just how pathetic she was. This was why she'd almost called it off; before he'd asked her out, it'd just been a stupid crush. She'd figured she could pine for him for a few months or so and would eventually get over it. When he'd asked her, if she cancelled, she'd at least have been able to smile at the fact that he'd wanted to go on a date with her at all. But now she was on the date, and she was screwing it up, and he wouldn't just not like her, he'd probably think something awful about her. But it wasn't like she could take it back now... She felt the panic start to rise, but shoved it way, way down. No! No, she was absolutely not going to make this worse by freaking out like that! She just had to let him call it off. Say it was a mistake. Then she could leave, and go back to the castle, crawl into a corner somewhere and freak out quietly on her own where no one else would notice it. Or maybe she'd go back to Belle's. That'd probably be better; Belle had a good track record of making her forget why she was so upset, at least for a while. She'd probably need that this time.

ωєη∂у мα∂єℓιηє ςнαιѕту <6th Year> Wendy hadn't been entirely surprised that after the arrest of the Averys and her father she had gotten an owl from David requesting to meet her. He, of course, would have figured out she was responsible for turning them in. David was a great many things, but he wasn't stupid. He likely suspected her of knowing of his father's planned death ahead of time to. David was a Legilimens so it was possible he was trying to confirm his suspicions by meeting with her. If Wendy was a coward or felt the least bit guilty she would have skipped the requested meeting, claimed one of the cats must have ate his owl or some nonsense, but instead she was a Slytherin and proud and the Ravenclaw alumni didn't worry her. He was a known pacifist that couldn't even hurt a fly. He was pathetic. She entered the cafe and brushed off the snow from her shoulders and hair. Spotting David she straightened and strode over sitting at the table he sat. "Good afternoon. What was it you wanted?"David didn't say anything for a good minute as he sipped his tea and finally looking at the redhead he said, "You knew, didn't you?""Know what?" She asked. David said nothing as he narrowed his eyes at her. Letting out a sigh she said, "I saw his and the late Mrs. League's will. I suspected something was amiss but how would I ever have known that they would actually murder someone?" David raised a brow and crossed his arms. "There's really no use lying and I see no reason to discuss the matter. You could just pry into my mind, right?"David let out a sigh, "I'd rather not." "I suspected something, but what should I care? He isn't my father and obviously my own father I don't care much about either considering what happened," Wendy answered ordering a butterbeer for herself. He narrowed his eyes and then said, "I thought you should know that Uncle Robert is being released in a couple days. He did a plea deal and you should know that he is the type that would rather remain not involved in most of the doings of his parents and other members of the family. Regardless, I will be giving the manor to him to pass on to who he pleases. Don't kill him for it.""Excuse me," She gasped offended. "I am not my father, thank you very much. Besides I adore him. He was a better guardian than anyone else. He took time to teach me to swim and actually listens when I talk about my interests. It always made me wonder why he never remarried. The guy might be gay, not that I care, though with the senior Averys out of the way..." She smiled wistfully and then raised a brow at David, "Is that all?" "Mostly. I also want to let you know that I want you to stay the hell away from me, my sisters, and the rest of my family. We may have you to thank for justice in the end but I won't forget you also didn't speak up earlier," David said standing. He paused and said, "And you don't have to marry that Evander kid if you don't want. I'm not going to support some arrangement my insane grandparents-" "And if I want to?" Wendy said. "I do owe you ever so slightly," David sighed, "If they try to back out I'll remind them of their duty and the fact that there still is technically a head to the Avery family. Slytherins are all about keeping their word, aren't they? Even if the whole lot is a bunch of snakes."Wendy nodded with a smile as she watched David call out and then she called out before he hit the door, "Oh, congratulations on your son. Too bad he never got to meet his grandfather!" The door was shut a bit harder than normal as David didn't answer her and apparated away once he was outside. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Time: December 2031 Dressed: Clothes

Uriel trudged through the snow on the ground somewhat miserably, as winter was never going to be his favorite season, even if today was slightly warmer in a way that gave him hope that spring was coming... eventually. Still, only somewhat miserable, because Lyv was with him, and the cold or general grayness of his surroundings didn't really bother him as much when he was with her. She was like spring or something. Maybe it was the general feeling of new beginnings in their admittedly not very long relationship. They'd only officially gotten together at the wedding right after Christmas, so they'd only been really dating for a month or two.
He reached the door to the cafe first, and brightening a bit at the thought of warmth and food, yanked it open, holding it for his girlfriend. His girlfriend. He was still getting used to that; he hadn't been able to say that in such a long time. He fought a stupid grin from spreading like chicken pox across his face, then gave up. The cafe was pretty empty; only a few tables were filled, probably because it was a weekday, and thus the village was not packed with Hogwarts students. As nostalgic as that might have been, he was glad. Uriel didn't have an overwhelming surge of fondness for his teen years. They had kind of been rubbish.
Since it seemed to be seat yourself, he nodded at a nearby table. "Is this okay?" he asked, but figured it was, since it was not right by the door, near a window, even if there wasn't much a view, and not packed in by other tables and chairs. The stars are bound to change. Hold on, hold on, wait for another day. Hold on, hold on, the future's not that far away. Fall and spring were always the perfect temperature.
She grinned when he held the door open for her, and walked into the warm cozy place. It was thankfully pretty empty and not bustling with students. As much as she had enjoyed school, she hadn't. It had sucked and she'd been awkward and generally just not that interesting or fun. They'd been filled with disappointment, regret, and straight up.... murder.. actually. She pushed those thoughts away when he offered her a seat. "It's perfect."
She said with a grand smile. She took a seat and glanced at him curiously. They had only been dating for like a couple months, but it kind of felt like longer too and she wasn't sure why. Maybe because they'd known each other forever.

Uriel grinned and sat down himself, picking up one of the menus on the table and sliding the other one towards her. He was starving, but luckily as it was just a small cafe, the menu wasn't massive. He was glad they were here on what he supposed qualified as a 'lunch date' anyways. Having a wedding as their first technical date, going from that to some fancy dinner at a posh restaurant would have been... too much. He could only take so much formality, and he figured they were both far too awkward for it anyways.
Not that he wouldn't want to see Lyv in a pretty dress again, though he thought she looked beautiful in whatever she was wearing. He glanced up at her over the menu, and stumbled for words just looking at her. God damn it, they were dating, this should not still be happening. "Soooo how's the shop?" he asked with genuine interest. He liked hearing about her work... especially since he was frequently invited to taste test. "And should I get the Cornish pastie or the chicken and leek pie? I can't decide." The stars are bound to change. Hold on, hold on, wait for another day. Location: Brews & Stews Café The following weekend couldn’t come any faster for Grace. Since asking Avian out she had spent half her time figuring out what to wear and the other keeping up with her studies. The part of her that was obsessed with studying was going crazy knowing that she wasn’t fully committed. Though her other part full of excitement for the weekend to arrive made up for it. Walking into Brews and Stews, Grace had the worst case of butterflies. They weren’t as horrible as say when she asked Avian out in the first place. However they were still there. Nerves were definitely getting the better of her but she was going to have a good time, even if it killed her. She would be fine, she looked fine… After a week of planning she hoped she did anyways. Location: Brews & Stews Café Grace was rather grateful that Avian came with an umbrella included. It certainly added to the whole date factor. Honestly it made the sixth year wonder if rain meant good luck or if that was only for weddings. Oh well, umbrella’s meant closeness and that meant even more butterflies. Though, she was sure if her sisters’ could see her now they’d say how cute she looked on her first date. Sure they’d had that date during her fourth year, but that was different. That was a date among friends. Arriving at the venue Grace was not expecting the gesture of a gift, never mind flowers. However her eyes lit up at seeing them. “They’re beautiful Avian.” She said taking them from him happily. They were blue, which undoubtedly was her favourite color. She smiled brightly not minding his rambling. “They’re perfect.” She assured him as she sniffed the roses. “Yes, lets.” She said before nodding in agreement. Grace almost skipped to a table for two. She felt like she was floating on air or maybe her butterflies were literally taking flight. Either way the gesture was certainly nice. Location: Brews & Stews Café Grace appreciated cheesy, in fact she loved cheesy. Placing the bouquet gently on the table, the Ravenclaw took a seat before removed her cardigan and placing it on her lap. When Avian asked how she was or rather her family she smiled. “Good I suppose. Better now that they aren’t harassing me.” She said realizing she’d just admitted that her family knew about her liking Avian in the first place. “My sisters are doing well; Leo and David are keeping busy with baby one and two, and Mira’s working on getting something started career wise. My dad’s keeping busy with work and the drama from two summers ago seems to have resolved.” Grace told him happily. “So, how are things with you and your family?” She asked curiously. “I hope your OWLs haven’t been too stressful to think about.” Hidden within her words was her wonder of if things were better compared to the start of year. Grace never got an answer as to what had been troubling Avian. However she hoped he remembered what she said about being there for him. Status: A little Nervous but Happy With: Avian Wearing: Blue Cardigan & Blue/Grey Dress OOC: --- Lily the Rabbit Well you certainly know what you want. And I won't argue with such a mind as yours. Ravenclaw!
