Sɑɱυεƪ ᴊᴏᵴҥʋᴀ Ɖɑᴠіʂ “Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."
Standing before the male, he tried his best to keep some kind of control on his emotions. It was hard though when he could feel his pulse in his ears and was breathing like he'd just run a marathon. Acting normal right now was impossible. There were no burning questions, the silence a welcome change. He could see that Micha was about as annoyed as he was. But he didn't care. He'd had enough for one day. All of today's bullshit was betting them nowhere. Taking a deep breath, he tried to force him to calm down some. He watched Micha run a hand through his hair, seeing his lips move but just barely catching the words. "That's not good enough." he said calmly. Shaking his head slowly, eyes narrowing ever so slightly. "I've been asking you all day what's wrong and you just brush me off. You've had plenty of chances to tell me and now you don't know? Now you have to go somewhere else so we can talk? Y'know what, ******** this. Call me when you get your s**t together." Samuel spared Micha one last before turning on his heel and back to his car. Anger radiated from him as he walked back. Whatever control he might have had on his temper was gone. Samuel didn't have the patience for anymore of his boyfriends' games. Not today. Again and again he had tried to get him to just talk to him. It was all he wanted. But this was too much. As he approached his car Samuel disarmed the alarm and slipped into the drivers seat. Slamming his door shut Samuel cranked his car, switched the radio to an alternative rock station, and blared the volume as high as it would go. His lips curled into an angry snarl as muttered the males words in a mocking tone. "Stupid Micha." he muttered, bringing the lighter to the tip of his cigarette. Inhaling deeply he tipped his head back against the headrest. As badly as he wanted to get out here, he was in no condition to drive. The last time he drove when he was this pissed off he ended up destroying his father's Bentley. So he sat there; doors locked, music blaring, and smoke burning in his lungs. Micha could call him when he wasn't so wishy-washy. Til then he just wanted to be left alone.

Sɑɱυεƪ ᴊᴏᵴҥʋᴀ Ɖɑᴠіʂ “Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."
Leaning his head back Samuel closed his eyes, listening to the music and concentrating on the smoke slowly burning his lungs. He tried to tell himself that if he just stopped thinking about Micha he'd be okay. But he was too pissed. The more he tried to calm down the more pissed off he became. Opening his eyes once more he hit the steering wheel and glared in the direction of the park. "Where the hell is he?" he wondered. Although he was mad enough to walk away, he still cared enough to want to see him home. Samuel sat there, alternating between waiting, smoking, and listening to the guitar riffs of three different songs. As his impatience gnawed at him, he he dug his phone out from his pocket and pulled up Micha's phone number. Hitting the green call button, he sat there facing in the direction of the park, listening to ringback tone. Although barely audible above the noise of his music, Samuel was greeted with an unfamiliar ringtone. "You've got to be kidding me." he muttered. Turning off the radio, Samuel looked around the car to see where Micha might have stashed his phone. Leaning down, he found it under the seat along with his wallet just before reaching Micha's voicemail. Hanging up on his phone, Samuel slummed back in his own seat. "Isn't this just great." he thought. Samuel cradled the phone like it was precious thing. He looked around again wondering where the male could have run off to. Looking at the time it was too late to grab a train and he hadn't seen a cab pass by for sometime now.Sighing he shook his head. Not his problem. If worse came to worse, Micha could either swing by the club tomorrow or call from his home phone to have him bring it. Either way, Samuel was just done with Micha for tonight. Putting the items in the passenger seat, Samuel pulled away from the curb, finally feeling calm enough to drive home.
Three hours of mindless driving around the city and actually forgetting where his parents lived later, Samuel was pulling into the garage of a luxurious complex on fifth avenue. Pulling into his families space, Samuel sat there a minute. He didn't know why he decided to come back here of all places. Especially at three in the morning. He could already hear his parents now; his mother wanting to know if he was okay, his brothers were okay, and even that fiance of his that he never spoke to was okay. Whereas his father would likely be somewhere between reasonable and wanting to know why in the world he chose this ungodly hour to pay them a visit. Going home though didn't feel like an option. Even without his phone or wallet, he felt like Micha would somehow be there waiting for him. Too bad that only worked in television and movies. With a heavy sigh, Samuel shut off the car, grabbed his things, and prayed he didn't smell like he'd just finished off three whole cartons of cigarettes. Hitting the alarm on his keychain, Samuel headed out of the garage and into the fancy building. The chandelier hanging in the center of the room was blinding compared to the dank and dark streets he'd been driving around. Squinting for a moment, Samuel nodded to the night doorman, who smiled in greeting. He then walked towards the elevator, a low ping piercing through the silent lobby followed by the clacking of metal doors sliding open. Stepping inside, he hit the button labeled PH3 and waiting for the elevator ride from hell to begin. Despite the elegance and height of the building, their elevator was pure s**t. Every time it shaked and rattled, he felt the urge to get off and just walk the rest of the way. Sadly that wasn't an option in this building as all the Penthouses were cut off from the other floors. Each penthouse had their own floors with one way in and one way out. If there was ever a fire in this place, God forbid, all four penthouse tenets were royally screwed.
A solid ten minutes passed before Samuel reached his destined floor. It took all the strength he had not to turn tail and run. Lifting his hand to the door, he knocked three times and waited for someone to answer. It took at least another five minutes before being greeted by his bright eyed and bushy tailed father. He was given a look of not-even-wanting-to-know before he stepped aside and let Samuel inside. Clapping his old man on the shoulder, Samuel removed his shoes and made his way towards one of the guest bedrooms. He already knew that he was going to have to explain himself come morning. But for now it could all wait. Flopping down on the down mattress, Samuel gave another heavy sigh. It had been a stressful day, one that he just wanted to forget and pretend never happened. He was used to fighting with Micha, but this felt like something that was going to need more than just a talking and coffee to get over. He'd really messed up this time. Rolling onto his back, Samuel closed his eyes and tried not to think about. In almost no time at all his was fast asleep.
The next day Samuel awoke to the smell of fresh coffee, homemade biscuits, and insanely bright sunshine. Rubbing the crust from his eyes, he sat up feeling shittier than he had last night as everything all at once came back to him. He wasn't looking forward to today either. But he couldn't just not see Micha. He wanted to....he wanted.....God why was this so hard?! Running an agitated hand through his hair, Samuel picked up both his and Micha's phone. Nothing on either of them; no missed calls, no text messages, nothing. Frowning, he stuffed the items into his pockets and made for the kitchen. There his parents greeted him warmly. His mother provided light hugs and a kiss to his temple, while his father simply smiled and said "Good morning" while he read The New York Times. They allowed him to fill his plate with food and mug with coffee before they started to grill him. Not far from the truth he told them he had a fight with his girlfriend, "Michelle". Unfortunately that only brought on more questions such as How did you meet, How old is she?, What kind of work does she do?, How long have you been seeing one another?, and his favorite "What's her family like?" meaning what social class does she hail from. All of these he answered with as minimum information as possible. It was best to keep them guessing. The less they knew about his "girlfriends" p***s the better. After awhile they eventually gave up questioning him and allowed him to eat. Samuel spent most of the day there before deciding it was best to head home. He left feeling more depressed and anxious, wondering why Micha still hadn't called. He knew he was probably mad about having to walk home, but still. A call, e-mail, text from another person's phone might be nice. At least so he could know that he made it come okay.
Without even realizing it, Samuel drove all the way back to Micha's studio. He stared up blankly at the building, unsure if he should try to go up or not. For once he didn't want to be the one having to go find Micha. He wanted Micha to find him instead. But he was too tired for games. Shutting off his car, he walked into the lobby and went straight to the front desk. A doorman looked up with a curious expression so he made it quick to ask if Micha Polzin was in. The doorman was kind enough to inform him that he wasn't and hadn't been for sometime. Thanking the man, he then asked if he could leave him with Micha's phone and wallet, saying that he'd forgotten both when he was at his club last night. The man assured him that he would see to Mr.Polzin having his items returned and not to worry. Nodding his head, Samuel made his way back to his car but made no attempts at starting it or even thinking of going home.

![User Image](https://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww194/xDarkxVampirex/Models/Micha2_zpsymy3vvxg.png) " An hour had passed before Micha woke. He fluttered his eyes open as he soon felt the taste of iron on his tongue. Micha groaned lightly as he tried to move but to no avail. He squirmed a little but it did him no good. Micha shifted as he glanced down at his feet to see he was tied with power cords. He sighed, Great improvising. Micha remained still well aware that there was someone moving behind him. He could smell him without even hearing him. The smell of the sea always clung to him. Micha soon saw the man within his vision as he squatted before him. ”Ah, I see you’ve woken Mikhail.” His father, Kliment Andrei Polzin, spoke in heavy Russian toward him. He gritted his teeth, how he loath that name. It was the name his father wanted to call him and did as a child. Micha shifted as his father suddenly grabbed him by the shirt. ”What not happy to see me?...You shouldn’t be surprised I did send you a warning after all though I wasn’t expecting you to be here…I were merely snooping and what did I find you.” His father spoke as he held onto his shift tight.
Micha didn’t respond him which only made things worse. He was suddenly released as his father grabbed him by the cords around his feet. Micha was quickly dragged off toward his table he had in his kitchen area. His father grabbed a chair soon setting him straight in it. Micha shifted as he spat blood on the floor no longer wishing to continue to have the taste linger in his mouth. His father laughed at the sight of his actions as well as his busted lip. He saw no amusement in his as his eyes turned cold. Kliment retrieved a switchblade from his back pocket as he stood there. ”Now then…I’m gonna ask you once and only once…Where is my money Mikhail?” Micha stared up at him with no response. His father nodded simply drawing closer. ”Fine have it your way.” He spoke before soon dragging the blade against his chest enough to break skin but not enough to let him bleed out.
The sting of the blade was nothing compared to what was about to happen next. He wasn’t surprised as he was suddenly knocked to the floor. The feel of his father kicking him in the chest was what hurt the most. Micha attempted to keep silent but it was nearly impossible as the third blow came. His father finished after the forth. He knew he would have a couple cracked ribs. Micha lay there staring at the floor as his father grabbing him by the hair. He gritted his teeth lightly as his father pulled his hair the feeling of the blade slicing through it only created defeat. Micha sighed softly as his father soon looked back at him. ”Have my money in two days or I’ll be back for the rest of you…This time they won’t find the body.” His father spoke in harsh tones before soon leaving him there on the floor. The sound of the door closing was sweet silence.
Micha lay there for almost another hour and a half before he managed to untie himself. He winched and yelped lightly from the feeling of cracked ribs. Micha managed to pull himself off the ground and make it to the bathroom. He didn’t bother turning the light on as he moved to remove his clothes. Micha left there on the floor as he walked slowly to the shower. He turned it on as he slipped inside. Micha stood beneath the shower head as he tilted his head back. He slipped his arms around himself as he closed his eyes. Micha enjoyed the hot water surrounding him it was peace compared to the pain. The cut on his chest stung but he ignored it. It was dull in compared to his cracked ribs.
He stood in the shower for almost an hour. The water had turned cold at least twenty minutes ago. Micha turned the water off as he stepped out of the shower. He grabbed a towel from the small cabinet next to the shower. Micha took time as he dried himself off. He didn’t feel like rushing himself after all he didn’t need to. After he was finally dried off, he looked in the mirror. Bruises were starting to form against his torso. He looked at his hair noting the missing clump his father had cut off. Micha closed his eyes as he suddenly smashed the mirror feeling a few shards cut through his skin. He felt the dull pain as it spread through his hand and up his arm. Micha opened his eyes to see blood swirling down the drain of the sink. He stood there for what seemed like hours but only minutes before he finally started to pick the shards from his hand. Micha tossed them into the trash nearby. He moved toward the small cabinet grabbing the first aid kit out and set it on the counter. Micha turned the water on as he let water run over his hand until it stopped bleeding. He grabbed a few pieces of gaze from the first aid kit laying them in place against his hand. Micha picked up the self-adhesive wrapping tape and wrapped the tape around the gaze to keep it in place against his hand. He tore the tape from the roll and set it in place against the back of his hand so it wouldn’t come undone.
Micha finished with his hand as he walked toward the small storage room in which he held clothes in as well. He looked through the clothes managing to find something in his size. Micha picked out a pair of jeans and a white long sleeve button-up t-shirt. He dressed quickly not bothering to clean up his bathroom. Micha went back into the studio room as he grabbed his shoes. He slipped them on as he grabbed his key from the door way. Micha unlocked the door slipping out it then locked it behind him. He left the building out the back not wanting to be seen. Micha was not in a state to what to deal with people or to be seen.
It was still early enough in the morning that most sane people were sleeping at this hour. He had been up for almost twenty-four hours without much sleep and didn’t care about waking others. Micha was within walking distance of his friend, Grisha’s restaurant. He didn’t bother using the front entrance as he went to the back. Micha knew Grisha would be there after all he always was in the early morning working on baking bread for morning breakfast. He also knew Grisha’s wife Irina would be there also helping or bossing him around as she always did. Micha slipped through the back as he heard the sound of Grisha and Irina talking in the kitchen. As he entered, it only took one look from Grisha to know what was wrong.
Two hours later, Micha left Grisha’s place a business. He had allowed Irina to fix his hair which took much talking into. Grisha had fed him through much force on Grisha’s part. Micha wasn’t in the mood to eat much less talk but he did. He was now on his way back toward his studio building. It didn’t take him long to walk there after all it was a short distance. Micha almost tripped over himself to see Samuel sitting in his car in front of the building however. He was surprised to see him here after all they split on back terms. Micha however was also scared and unsure of what to expect. He wasn’t sure if talking would help or if there would be another screaming match mostly coming from Samuel. Micha stood there grounded unsure if he should head inside or go to Samuel’s car. He didn’t know what to do but also he didn’t really want Samuel seeing him like this but it was a little too late for that. "

Sɑɱυεƪ ᴊᴏᵴҥʋᴀ Ɖɑᴠіʂ “Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."
Sitting in his car waiting Samuel felt like a real idiot. He practically jumped up in his seat every time he heard a car door, the thud of shoes on pavement, or just voices around him that didn't even remotely sound like Micha. His mind was abuzz with thoughts. All of them over lapping the other every few minutes. He spent most of his first hour making up scenarios in his head. Going over everything from what he would say, what he thought Micha might say. He even went as far as to imagine how things would go if they were to end up fighting again. Little good it did him. As much as he hated to admit it he still knew next to nothing about Micha. He highly doubted that he would say any of the things in his head. This wasn't some kind of messed up play and they were expected to follow some script he'd imagined.
The next hour Samuel finally got bored of trying to find the right words to say and guess what Micha would say and do in response. He sat back in seat watching the different cars and people as they went about their day. He couldn't help but glare at the couples that would pass every so often. Jealousy reared it's ugly head as he remembered the way he yelled at Micha, how he just left without even trying to let him say his piece. Samuel glanced down at his phone each time he remembered. There was still no word from Micha. No calls, no text, no nothing. Swearing under his breath he then recalled how Micha had warned him. He told Samuel how if he ever wanted to he could just disappear without a trace. A cold fear sank into his bones as he wondered if now might be one of those times. Biting his lower lip Samuel shook his head. "No way. He wouldn't. Not over something as petty as this."
Going in to his third hour of waiting the stress of not knowing was really starting to get to Samuel. He'd smoked all of the cigarettes from the pack he had sitting on his dash and all he had from his emergency stash stuffed at the bottom of the pocket on the back of the passenger seat. As the afternoon slowly went by he felt he bodily needs demand his attention. His breakfast was long gone, he throat wanting fluids after so much smoke inhalation, and he was itching to get up and move. It took several rounds of arguing with himself before deciding to pull away from the curb. "Just a few minutes" is what he told himself. Just a few minutes and he'd be back in time to see Micha come home. He could only hope he wasn't going to be coming home with another man. Turning his car on Samuel drove up the street to Five Guys. There he ordered himself a burger, Cajun fries, and a drink. He waited a few minutes before taking his bag of food and going back to his car. From there he then drove to the closest gas station to fill up and buy another carton of cigarettes. He knew he didn't need them but his stress levels were through the roof. Right now those cigarettes were the only thing keeping him somewhat sane.
Pulling back up to Micha's building, Samuel quietly ate his lunch and listened to the radio. The mindless chatter about traffic reports and mid-day news was a little comforting. It distracted him long enough to forget about his actions and the very real possibility of Micha having gone to find someone else. When he was done eating he sank back into his seat, closing his eyes, and listening to the radio. Without even realizing it he slipped into a light slumber. Like last night his dreams were filled with unwanted memories and the look of shook, annoyance, and maybe even a little betrayal that he'd personally put on Micha's face.
When he awoke it was late afternoon. The sun was blinding and there was hardly a soul in sight. Samuel was just about ready to pack it in and go home for real when caught sight of someone walking up the street. From a distance he couldn't tell if it was Micha or not. The build was and clothes were about the same but their hair was all wrong. He sat there waiting and watching as the person came closer. When he was close enough to see his face, Samuel gasped at the realization. "Micha." he said, his voice barely audible over the low playing music. Turning off his car Samuel slowly slipped out of his car, quietly shutting the door, and coming around the car. The closer his got, his legs began to feel like jelly. He was too nervous. All those hours of going over how he would greet Micha and the the things he would say were gone. He looked him over noticing the cut on his lip, the gauze on his hand, and the way he was currently holding himself. He felt the urge to pull close for a hug, but worried about hurting him. "Are you......why the 'em.." Samuel paused when words failed him. Averting his gaze he cleared his throat and brought a hand up to the back of his neck. "I left your phone and wallet with your doorman...I didn't go through it or anything. So you don't have to worry about anything missing from either." Samuel said softly. It wasn't at all what he wanted to say. But it was something. It was better than just standing there looking so miserable and like he was contemplating how hard he wanted to hit him. He kept his eyes to the ground, too ashamed to look him in the eye. If Micha wanted to break-up or yell at him now was the time to do it.

Sɑɱυεƪ ᴊᴏᵴҥʋᴀ Ɖɑᴠіʂ “Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."
After stepping aside Samuel followed Micha back the short distance to his building and inside the lobby. Glancing toward the front desk, he saw a different doorman sitting behind it. He stood as Micha approached and was handed his items. After watching him stuff them in to his pockets, he followed him to the elevator. Even with his injuries he was surprised to see him so willing to use it, given his phobia. Samuel stood opposite of Micha, leaning against the the railing and watching him closely. He saw the way he winced and closed his eyes. He wanted so badly to ask what had happened to him. But he wasn't sure if Micha would tell him. After about a minute, the elevator doors opened. He let Micha exit first and followed him the short distance to his door. He quietly thanked Micha and stepped in to the studio taking a glance around. It felt like it had been ages since he was last here. When in reality it was less than day. Over Micha's shoulder he saw the knocked over chair and a tangled bundle of what he thought was rope. Another question bubbled in his throat, but he choked it down. Toeing off his shoes, he saw Micha pad off into the kitchen. He quietly followed behind him, nodding when he was asked another question. "Yeah, that'd be great. Thanks." he said softly. Folding his arms over his chest, Samuel leaned against the door frame, taking another look around the room. He stood there quietly for a moment observing him from behind and getting a little annoyed. "Who did this to you?" he blurted out. He knew he couldn't do anything even if Micha did tell him. But he wanted to know. He wanted to know who did this and to what extent was he injured.
