The thought of having Liam's home cooking again made his mouth water. The male was such a better chef than he ever was. He smiled shyly as the male laughed when he spoke. It really was terrible how little he had to offer. But it couldn't be helped. He smiled as the male soon agreed. An outing to that store, he couldn't say this was exactly how he envisioned their morning together. But it was nice all the say. Alaine released the male as he slipped away from him, nodding in agreement. Coffee was definitely needed. Turning back around in his seat, he watched as Liam searched the cabinets for mugs. He thought of just telling him which one it was, but he just seemed so determined to find them himself. In no time at all Liam found what he was looking for and went about fixing his coffee. Alaine rose from the stool and padded around the counter to grab his own mug. Going behind the male, he pulled out an identical mug for himself. He waited patiently for Liam to finish with the carafe and poured the steaming liquid into his own mug. Setting it back with the coffee maker, he added a bit of cream and sugar in as well. He then took his mug back around the counter and resumed his seat. He took a few sips, enjoying the warmth as it spilled down his throat.

Liam finished making his cup as Alaine came over. He moved aside as he sipped on his own cup. Liam watched as Alaine made his own cup then returned to his seat. He moved toward Alaine grabbing a stool for himself. Liam took a seat beside Alaine as he sipped on his cup. He pulled out his phone so he could work on a grocery list. ”Do you work tonight?” Liam asked curiously, but he already knew the answer. Without Samuel, it left Alaine to run the club.

Sipping his coffee, he smiled behind his mug as the male came to sit beside him. He watched as he pulled out his phone. The question he was asked wasn't unexpected. In fact he'd been wanting to ask him the very same thing. "Obviously." he answered simply. "And you? I'm not sure how much longer I can have the guys keep covering your shifts." Alaine smirked but it was true. Keeping Liam's position open while he was away had been tough. All the time he was bombarded by the other dancers about how they knew someone or had a family member who could easily take Liam's place. But he never let up. He knew Liam was coming back. Though for him or his job, at the time he hadn't been sure. Now, he knew. Though right now, he wished he had a day off. How great it would be to just laze about all day and not worry about anything. But, someone needed to be there to run things. Samuel was always so busy these days, it was impossible for anyone but him to run the club. He didn't mind it though. Sure it was tiring, day after day. But this is what it meant to run a business. He liked seeing the club grow.

He heard Alaine speak, and nodded slightly. Liam knew it was to be expected that Alaine would be working. His only wish was that he wasn’t, however it was unlikely. He smiled as Alaine questioned him. ”Hmm, that depends..Do you want me there?” Liam spoke teasing Alaine. He knew that Alaine didn’t have to keep his position open. Liam finished with his list and put his phone away. He returned his attention toward his coffee as he glanced at Alaine.

For the moment, work was unavoidable. It couldn't be helped. He sat quietly beside the male, sipping his coffee. Leaning close, he watched as he typed out a shopping list. It all seemed simple enough. It was certainly enough to make a nice breakfast. Alaine watched the male, wondering what sort of answer he might give him. Behind the teasing tone, he heard the serious question. If the decision was left up to Samuel, he likely would have given Liam's job away weeks ago. Alaine was different. He clang to Liam's position in hopes that he would come back. Now that he was back, maybe he could get a little peace. "What do you think?" soon came his reply. Alaine then turned back to his coffee and continued to drink it. He could feel the male watching him, but he wouldn't say more on the matter. If he saw the male tonight the job was his. If not.....well, it was out of his hands. He needed to keep a level head when it came to business.

If it had been left to Samuel to decide his job would have been given away the first day he didn’t show. In a way he knew he had hurt Alaine without leaving a word. Liam was surprised he had even allowed him to come this far. He knew Alaine was one to hold a grudge if he could. Hearing Alaine speak, he glanced toward him. He smiled at Alaine sudden question, in response to his own. Liam leaned in closer toward Alaine. ”Well I say the way you look at me when I’m up there says it all.” He spoke teasing Alaine before leaning in and kissing his cheek lightly. Finishing with his cup of coffee, Liam stood up and went to the sink. He rinsed out his cup washing it off and set it in the dish strainer. Liam turned after drying off his hands and leaned against the counter.

He didn't know why he had clung so desperately to Liam's job. It was one thing to hold it during his written vacation time. But afterwards, it was asinine. In all that time he could have easily seen, hired, and trained a new person to replace him. Yet he didn't. He couldn't explain how or why he did, but at the end of the day the result would still be the same. Alaine avoided the males gaze, noticing him practically grinning from ear to ear. It was embarrassing how easily he was making him blush. He rolled his eyes as the male teased him again. "Or maybe I just like the way your a** looks in those little shorts." he teased back. Still, he made no objections when the male leaned in to kiss him. He childishly stuck his tongue out at the male and went back to his coffee. He took a few more minutes, draining the little remnants in his cup. As he finished up, he watched Liam finish his own coffee and move to rinse out his cup. Another minute passed and Alaine got up from his seat as well. Coming around the counter and went to the sink as well. After rinsing out his cup, he set it aside. "If you want to eat before noon, I suggest you go get dressed." With that, he took his own advice and headed for the stairs.

"Attention Passengers we are now arriving in Paris, France. The local time is seven-forty in the evening. The date is Sunday, the twenty-third of May, and the local temperature is sixteen degrees Celsius. Thank for flying with Air France, we will be landing in approximately five minutes." Samuel slowly opened his eyes after hearing the intercom. How long had it been since he left New York? Eight? Nine hours, maybe? The last week and a half had been so surreal. Almost immediately after Micha was released from the hospital, he found himself faced with a set-in-stone date to meet his long awaited client. They knew the day was coming but the timing.....he'd been hesitate to leave the male but it was out of his hands. After all, it was work. Something he had been avoiding like the plague. He could only think what Alaine must be going through. There was no time to find a temp to help him out and even less so to get his priorities in place. Before leaving he wanted to make sure that Micha was safe and comfortable. In doing so, he gave him as much support as he wanted. Then almost immediately after he would go home to pack his things, gather his materials, and get his affairs in order. All week this had been something of a wash, rinse, repeat. On his last day, he spent the day at his penthouse going over a checklist to make sure he had every list little thing he could possibly need. By late afternoon he called a cab and piled in his luggage in to the trunk. For fear of being a cliche he didn't bother having Micha see him off. Instead, they said their goodbyes the night before. It was a bit hard to leave him behind but he would get over it. After all, they lived in a wonderful age of technology where they could chat, send pictures, and everything else in-between.

Sitting up straight, Samuel pulled out his phone and looked down at the birds eye view of Paris. He snapped a quick picture and sent it to his beloved. Made it. Should be landing in just a bit. Hitting send, he sat back in his seat. The minutes ticked by and soon the seat-belt sign flashed. Strapping in, they started to descend to the ground. The all too familiar pressure filled his ears and he felt his stomach give off the same sort of back-flip sensation as one would when going down a roller coaster. The plane was loud before growing steadily quiet and soon they were pulling up to the gate. A stewardess came on to the intercom one last time to remind all passengers to take their belongings, be mindful of children, etc etc. He'd heard it all so many times he could probably recite it himself. Samuel rose from his seat and he almost fell back down in it. After siting for so long everything from the waist down had seemed to have lost all feeling. Taking a moment to steady himself, he then moved to take his carry on from the compartment above. He patted himself down to make sure he still had everything he had taken with him. Once he was sure he fell in to line with the rest of the passengers. One by one by one they were seen off the aircraft and in to the hustling, bustling airport.

Samuel sighed as he walked in to the crowd. He'd only just arrived and he already knew that the jetlag was going to kill him. Pulling out his phone he checked the time again, doing a little math to figure out what time it might be in New York. Would Micha still be up?Probably. Did he get his text? Also, probably. Exiting his gate, Samuel went to retrieve his other luggage.

Nearly half an hour passed to get his bags, go through security, and make his way through the crowds. By the time he was able to get outside, he was more exhausted than a night filled with passion. Taking his first breath of French air, he looked around at the small crowds around him. It was such a pain to try and hail a cab. But he wasn't sure there were any buses or shuttles going to his hotel. He stood around, waiting like the rest. Endless waiting, that was the thing he hated most about these sort of trips. Another twenty minutes and he was on his way. By the time he reached his hotel it was nearing eight-thirty. What a way to spend his first hour in a foreign country.

After reaching his hotel, Samuel paid the cab driver and hauled his luggage in to the lobby. Everything about the hotel screamed of luxury. From the marble floors to the glittering lighting up above. Walking across the lobby, Samuel went through the process of checking in and confirming his booking information. After a few more minutes he was given his key and room number. Thanking the man, he headed towards the elevator and took it up to his floor. He quickly went to his room and stepped inside. To no surprise it was just as luxurious as the rest of the hotel. Samuel set his bags aside and sat down at the desk. Pulling out his phone again, he checked his messages. Seeing nothing yet, he decided to send another message to let Micha know that he was safely on the ground and made it to his hotel. He also added that he might end up getting some food and then going to bed so the male wasn't waiting up for him. With that said, Samuel stretched his tired limbs. He looked around the room for some kind of local guide. When he found it he sat and looked through a few, noting the local bars and clubs. But nothing for dinner. He wondered if the place downstairs might be open. If anything he could get a night cap without needing to travel. Pocketing his phone and room key, Samuel rose and made a beeline for the door.

Stepping back out, he walked down the hall to the elevators. Lucky for him, the elevator was still there and he was able to just walk right in. Riding down to the lobby, the lift didn't stop until reaching the ground floor. He padded across the lobby and headed towards the black arched doorway. The bar was quiet with only a few patrons. He crossed the room to take a seat where he was soon greeted by a young gentleman behind the bar. "Get you anything?" the man asked with a slight accent. Samuel smiled politely and ordered himself a scotch on the rocks. The man nodded and turned to fix his drink. Samuel looked around him, at the few people, the details of the hotel. About a minute later he heard the dull thud as his drink was set before him. Samuel turned back around and began to drink in silence.

The sound of footsteps coming up the stairs alerted him to an intruder. He turned glancing at the clock to see what time it was. On the stand beside him, flashing red lights read 4:25 a.m. Avery was in no mood to be disturbed at the morning. He was not a morning person, or even a night person. Avery much rather preferred to get up whenever he pleased; be that at seven in the morning or eleven at night.

He feigned sleep but it was not easy. Avery knew who was coming up the stairs, after all they had texted him early last night so he wouldn’t forget. He rolled to block out the noise beneath his blanket. However Avery wasn’t quick enough. His manager, Jean, was already standing at the foot of his bed.

Unlike Avery, Jean was a morning, night and anything in between person. The man ran on pure steam. Lying there curled beneath the blankets hiding from Jean, Avery was soon struggling to keep them as Jean pulled them off. ”I told you I would be here at 4:30 to pick you up...Why am I not surprised you’re not ready.?!” Jean spoke scolding Avery like a child, even though he was already an adult at the age of twenty.

Finally giving in Avery released his blankets, as he rolled over to face Jean who had dumped them on the floor. ”Because seriously who wakes up at this hour besides you?” He spoke rhetorically, as he sat up in bed. Avery ran a hand through his messy, untamed hair.

Jean stood putting his hands on his hips. ”Come get up now. We don’t have much time.” He spoke as he checked his watch on his wrist. They had to be in Rouen in two hours, as they had to start the photoshoot by at least eight. Jean had a few things planned out today.

”You have till five to get shower and dressed, if not I’m leaving you here to find a ride yourself.” Jean spoke leaving the room and giving Avery time to get dressed. He went into the living room and placed a few phone calls while he waited.

Getting out of his bed, Avery took his time. He saw no need to rush as he went about taking a shower and getting dressed. Jean had popped in on him a few times while he went about getting ready. He knew the male was impatient, but if he was going to be ready, he had to look his best.

They left shortly after five, heading toward Rouen, but not before a pit stop at the local Starbucks. Avery was not one for coffee, but Jean was. He knew that he needed breakfast however. Avery had gotten himself a Iced White Chocolate Mocha plus a chocolate scone. He would eventually eat more later this afternoon, but he never liked to eat big meals before a photoshoot.

The day went by rather quickly, in a blink it was already dark outside and they were driving back toward Paris. Avery had barely closed his eyes for a bit a rest when he was suddenly in front of his loft. Being shaken awake, Jean practically pushed him out of his vehicle. You did very good today Avery. I don’t have anything planned for tomorrow, but the next day after we do have that event at the club, so don’t forget.” Jean spoke reminding Avery, even though he knew he would send him a text the night before.

It was still early and Avery was in no mood to sleep. He had waved goodbye to Jean as he sped off. Avery glanced around as he started walking down the street. He didn’t live that far from a hotel that was just a few blocks from him. Avery wasn’t looking to mingle with the regular folk tonight. However a good drink and a warm body would interest him.

Entering the hotel, he knew where he was going as he headed toward the bar. Avery walked inside the bar, accessing the patrons inside. Some of them looked were business men while others were there just for the same reason as he was. He took notice of an older man, but not much older than he at the bar. Avery walked toward the bar, taking a seat beside him. The bartender knew who he was, and soon placed a dry martini in front of him. He thanked him as he glanced toward the male beside him, whom seemed a little jet lagged.

”Not from here are you?” Avery asked accessing the male, as his own voice was spoken in accent reflecting that of French. He took a drink from his own glass, as he watched him with curious eyes.

Liam laughed softly as Alaine spoke about his short shorts and his a**. He knew there had to be a catch. Liam watched as Alaine finished up his own cup of coffee and cleaned it off. He listened as Alaine spoke about getting dressed and watched as he took off upstairs. Liam followed after him, ”So does that mean I can wear my little shorts in public?” He spoke teasing Alaine as he followed him up the stairs. Liam had brought his bag to Alaine’s room the night before after his shower.

"The week couldn’t have gone by faster. Micha was getting stressed, due to Samuel’s own. He knew that he was worried especially after everything that had happened in the past month and a half. Micha had moved out of Samuel’s house and moved back into his own. He needed some space, and knew Samuel meant well. However he just needed him to stop being so clingy, although he knew it wasn’t going to stop. Micha cared for Samuel as much as Samuel did for him.

Before Samuel's departure to Paris, Micha had said his goodbyes. He knew Samuel had this trip planned for months. Micha was not going to allow him to cancel it just because he had still healing. He was doing better as he was able to walk now, that his cast had been removed. Micha had merely fractured it was was something surprising on his part. He was thankful as it wasn’t more serious.

As Paris was six hours ahead of Manhattan, it was nearing about a little after one in the morning when Micha got his first text from Samuel. He was in his studio when his phone went off. His phone was sitting beside him on a small table. Micha set his paintbrush down as he wiped his hands off on his pants. He grabbed his phone to check his messages. Micha smiled seeing Samuel was arriving in Paris safely. He set his phone back down knowing he needed a break.

Leaving his phone on the table, Micha left heading downstairs to his kitchen. He wasn’t all that hungry, but he was growing tired. MIcha opened his cabinet to see what he had in there. He grabbed out the bottle of Jagermeister, uncapping it as he took a sip from it. Micha didn’t bother with a glass as he took the whole bottle back to his studio. He needed to clean up his mess.

After an hour and a half , Micha finally settled in his room after a shower. He had left his bottle of Jagermeister on his bedside table along with his phone. Micha didn’t bother drying his hair as he walked toward his bed. Pulling back the covers, he settled beneath them. He grabbed the bottle once again taking a sip from it. Micha set it down as he picked up his phone. He took notice of a few more messages Samuel had sent. Glad to know you made it okay. Love you and miss you. Micha texted back in response as he lay there.

Embarrassing as it was to allow Liam to tease him like this. He couldn't deny that the smallest part of him did enjoy it. Upon hearing the male laugh again, he groaned like he was most annoying person in the world right now. After cleaning out his cup, Alaine made for the stairs with Liam hot on his heels. What the male said next made him stop in his tracks. Turning around to face him, his cheeks were bright red in both embarrassment and amusement. "If you even think of doing that, you'll be walking to work tonight." he replied threateningly. Turning on his heel, he walked up the last few steps and across the landing to his bedroom. Walking through his room he went over to his dresser and pulled out an over-sized graphic long-sleeved shirt and a pair of skinny blue jeans. He tossed them aside on his bed and picked up the brush from his dresser. After running the brush a few times through his long hair, he began sectioning off a few strands. The braids were loose and nothing specially but he liked them nonetheless. When he finished braiding both sides of his head, he pulled all of his hair back, and tied it into a high ponytail. He then turned to get dressed, stripping off his "pajamas". It took him only a couple of minutes to get dressed. When he finished he turned to Liam to see if he was ready yet. Normally, he would added a few accessories but today he was feeling lazy. He'd get all nice and dressed up later when they went to work.

Sitting in the bar, he didn't mind the calm atmosphere. While he couldn't deny that he did indeed miss Micha, there was something a little freeing about being away from him. He admitted that he had been clingy these past couple of weeks. It was hard for him not to be. Especially given recent events. But he felt like if he continued to do so Micha might break-up with him. He knew his clinging was getting on his nerves and that needed to stop. Maybe a little seperation would do them some good. While he sat there, his phone buzzed in his pocket. Pulling it out, he saw a message from Micha. It was short, sweet, and made him smile. Not wanting to bother him, he put away his phone. He would message him later. Tonight, he needed to enjoy his surroundings. This was his chance to concentrate on his work, take some time for himself, and if there was time, explore the sights. Samuel sat hunched over his drink when he saw someone come up beside him. The person must have been something of a regular as the bartender barely acknowledged him. Instead, the man just went about fixing a dry and setting it down on the counter.

Suddenly, a voice to his right spoke. Samuel looked up to face the male. He was young, with long hair and pretty features. For a very split second he reminded him of Micha. It took him a moment longer than it should have for the words to register. "Um...sorry. Yeah, I just got in from New York." Samuel sat up a bit and took a sip of his drink. "Your accent, local I take it?" he asked curiously. He sat there studying the male. He really was handsome. If he was single, he could say that he was definitely his type. Younger, pretty, possibly shorter. The longer he stared at the male, his mind started to drift into dangerous territory. He quickly looked away and finished his drink. Setting the glass down, he then signaled to the bartender for another. He wasn't going to drink enough to get drunk, but if the person beside him was going to stick around for conversation, it would be rude if he just up and left.

"So," he said, after getting his second scotch. "What brings you here tonight?" Even to him it sounded cheesy and like he was trying to pick the guy up. But there was no taking it back. Perhaps his obvious jet lag would make for an excuse of his poor conversation skills. Taking another sip, he looked towards the male. There really was something about him that was familiar. Comfortable almost. He wondered why. It wasn't like he was bored with Micha. Just the opposite in fact. He.....they were in love. They were happy, most of the time. So what gives?

As he sat beside the male, he took notice of him. It seemed the male was having a long day, and perhaps worried about something. Avery took a few sips from his drink, before speaking toward him. He watched him wondering if the male hadn’t heard him, but it appeared the male was a little more out of it. Avery watched as he glanced toward him. He saw something in his eyes flash before it disappeared. Avery wondered what the male was thinking but let his own curiosity keep quiet for now. Hearing the male finally responded, he took note of his American accent, with a hint of something more.

Avery nodded to his question and smiled. ”Hmm, well yes. “ He spoke responding to his question. Avery was about as local as it could get. He had been born and raised here in Paris. It was a place he called how, after all for its wondrous glory. To many it was simply a tourist attraction, to him, it was his playground at times.

Sitting there, he felt the male starting to stare. It made him wonder if there was something stuck on his face. He had made sure to wash it before leaving the photoshoot. Avery had a face of natural beauty that still many tried to find flaws and cover with makeup. He had been sitting in a chair off and on all day getting makeup retouched during his photoshoot. Avery was not a fan of the gunky stuff, it was for women not men, but it was something he had to put up with.

He watched as the male seemed to order himself another drink. Avery was still working on his first, he wasn’t much of a drinker, only socially when he had to. He had never found a reason to like the stuff. Avery played with the stem of his glass as he heard the male speak again. He smiled lightly, almost playfully. ”A bit of drink, conversation, and perhaps something more.” Avery spoke as he took a sip from his glass as it was now nearing its end. ”And you, what are you here for?” He spoke knowing he might be running into the obvious but he couldn’t help but ask.

Following after Alaine he nearly ran into him as he turned around. He glanced up at him as he was on a lower step. Liam took note of his bright red cheeks. He listened as Alaine threatened him. Liam was nearly tempted to try and see if Alaine would be true to his word but he knew he would. He was merely teasing, he would not go so far. Liam didn’t have a chance to respond to Alaine before he turned on his heel heading toward his bedroom. He continued up the stairs with mischief in his eyes. Liam walked into Alaine’s bedroom as he grabbed his bag from the floor beside the door. He picked it up, and went toward the bed setting it on it. Liam rummaged through it grabbing out a pair of jeans along with a gray simple cotton knit shirt. He went about getting dressed as he glanced to see Alaine was doing his hair. It didn’t take him long to get dressed. He pulled out a fresh pair of socks pulling them on. His shoes were still downstairs, but besides that he was ready to go. Liam felt Alaine’s eyes on him softly after a while. ”Ready?” He asked smiling at Alaine.
