Pureblood Nell bit her bottom lip to stop from laughing madly when Jack tried to have a comeback from her compliment. "Don't worry about it, consider it a free compliment." she said bemusedly. She could see that both her new friends were beginning to feel awkward while trying to continue getting to know each other with her and Caitlin there so she decided to help them out by turning completely towards the other girl to engage her in conversation. "So Caitlin, it would seem that everyone's said a bit about their family what about yours?" What I'm wearing: Isn't she cute?

  Hannah stood in line as she waited for the professor to let them start to walk to the castle. She listened to everyone as she herd commotion with Daisy. She was about to go talk to her, but noticed that it was resolved. After this she heard about a mermaid and wasn't really interested because of her lack of interest in Magical creatures. [O.O.C: I am sorry I can not spell well the only thing I have is my iPad and it does not correct everything.]  Mood--- Hapoy

Adalaide shrugged at Michelle's question. She hadn't really paid much attention to the other students... she'd mostly ducked down and tried to avoid them all. So, she had no idea how many more people they were waiting on. She sighed a little. She hoped that they were ready to go get sorted soon. All this standing here was killing her feet. She sighed and moved a little bit away from the group so she could sit down without risking someone tripping on her or anything like that. Once she got far enough away, she plopped down, sitting Indian style on the ground. "Maple sugar quills sound tasty... I'll have to ask my parents to get me some."

"I get bored easily, so I dye my hair all the time." She smiled and curled a piece of hair around her finger. "I think white looks pretty bad a** with your complexion." She said, hoping that sounded like a compliment, since that's what it was supposed to be. A grin was still on her face, as she flirted or attempted to at least.

Kellan looked around following silently behind the others. She was lucky to have met Michelle, Hannah, and Daisy by chance at the Three Broomsticks. She was intent on making friends then and she still is, she just doesn't do well in large groups. Kellan was still a bit on the shy side but she is trying to come out her shell just a little bit.

I’ve seen color, but lately it’s been tainted
With grays and under-glows- ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Jack laughed good-naturedly when he heard her compliment. He was glad people weren’t freaked out by how pale he was. He and his little sister had a bad run in with some non-magical people awhile back that had accused them of practicing witchcraft rather violently which had caused her to hate muggles. He certainly didn’t want to try and remember that experience though.
“Hey, so…” Jack thought for a moment trying to think of something else to keep their conversation going. “Have you been to Hogsmead before? It sounds like that’s where everyone plans on going to get their hair done. Maybe after the sorting ceremony and all the classes get sorted out we could all go there together if they let first years do that?”
He felt like he was practically asking her on a date, well sort of.

She didn't know if he meant like on a date or just as friends, but either way going to Hogsmeade with him would be amazing. "I've never been before." She bit her lip. "But..." She said rather dejectedly. "From what my mum tells me, only third years and up can go." She looked down at her shoes.

Pureblood Nell saw how uncomfortable she had made Caitlin feel when she asked about her family and immediately felt bad and apologized. "I'm sorry, you don't have to answer if you don't feel comfortable. Just my big mouth running." she smiled apologetically and chuckled at her own awkwardness. When Jack suggested touring Hogsmeade if they ever got the chance she immediately became excited. "That sounds like fun! I heard have an amazing sweet shop there. And a Zonkos!" she beamed. Nell had sounded so excited too, now he really felt bad. Suddenly an second less exciting idea came to him, “Well maybe we could all just hang out then later? If we’re put in the same house it’ll be a bit easier though.” He glanced at her hopefully.

Pureblood Nell suddenly felt as though she had interrupted a private moment in between the two and inwardly smacked herself in the face. It was both lucky and unlucky that first years couldn't tour the village but at least she wouldn't ruin another moment between Jack and Gracie. Trying to help she made a suggestion. "True it would be easier, but what about exploring? I think that if we want to make at least minimal groundwork in our first year that we should be in teams of sorts. You with Jack and me with Caitlin. Then we could get together later and discuss what we found. How about that?" she asked hopefully. What I'm wearing: Isn't she cute?
