▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄E L E A N O R L O V E D U K E▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄"Life is funny, But only If you take the time to watch it." ♡ Location: The Dark Lake ♡ Mood: Peaceful ♡ Job: Groundskeeper & Care of Magical Creatures Teacher ♡ Love life: Single (( 0ut.0f.Control - Please click here to get Sorted.))Eleanor felt her face lighten up as she caught sight of the boathouse. She hopped off her boat onto the ground and helped the students that were in her boat. ❝Time to get sorted!❞, she cried as she waited for everyone to climb out of their boats, ❝Follow me, please!❞ she added loudly. They walked until they reached the doors of the Great Hall. Eleanor spun around and smiled.❝Welcome to Hogwarts!❞, beamed Professor Duke, ❝So… Ah, yeah. Before you start eating, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important part at Hogwarts. While you are here, your house will be something like your family, someone you can trust and love. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory and spend free time in your house common room.
As I might have mentioned before we got here, the four houses are named Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each house has its own history, Head of House and ghost. While you are at Hogwarts, you accomplishment earn your house points but if you break any rules, don't expect a cake from us, or a present. At the end of the year, the house with the most points will win the House Cup, a great pleasure. And whoever is in Gryffindor, please don't break any rules!❞, she begged as few first years chuckled, ❝The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. Don't fuss! You'd better all smarted yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting.❞ Her eyes lingered on all the students. ❝Yeah, that's fine!❞ she smiled. Eleanor cleared her throat and spoke again. ❝You might see me sometimes. Staff table and stuff. But I'd like to have a few visits! And I'll also see anyone who decides to take Care of Magical Creatures in their third years.❞ she smiled again, tiny tears shining in her deep, brown eyes. She hated good-byes, but it wasn't really, since she would see them maybe in third year and before. She pushed the doors open and led the students forward until they reached the Deputy Headmistress. Eleanor nodded to her and sank in a seat at the Staff Table.

Aster Owena Cardell - 1st Year; No House
"Sometimes when I'm alone I wonder, is there a spell that I'm under, keeping me from seeing the real thing?"Aster nodded, and gave the girl a thankful look. 'Cœur told me there a couple factors that infulenced the Hat, but I guess its several...not few.' Sparrow let a exclamation of joy, and the girl gaze flickered to the centaur. 'He looks like a half-man half-horse creature, but I doubt he's a hybrid.' The grey-haired girl looked away, believing it to rude to gawk. The boat slowed down, and then stopped at it's destination. The Boat House. Ms.Duke went on to explain the procedings, and Aster tried to listen with her normal attentiveness, but the journey and her hunger made, miss a couple of points. She followed Archie and Sparrow to the Great Hall, and hugged her cape tighter to her.

Aravis looked up as they reached the shore and quickly gathered her things in anticipation of getting out of the boat. She was almost seasick, but that didn't matter now. As the girl slowly climbed out of the boat, she overheard the Groundskeeper talking about how they were going to get sorted in front of the whole school. Aravis wasn't too scared because she knew that she only had to sit there and let the Sorting Hat do it's job. Aravis quickly followed the rest of the group into the Castle with her short hair bouncing as she took each stride in a fake confidence.

◈
After waiting for the train to come, the train ride itself through the thickness of forestry from another world, to soon take this brief trip across the lake, Sissy felt prepared. This whole time had been a mental sparring for her. She hadn't met any friends yet, so for now all she had was her and herself. This ride across the lake felt somewhat peaceful and terrifying to her, all at the same time. She loved swimming but this lake didn't look like a lake where people just swam for recreational reasons. But before she knew it she realized the incredibly stately and grand castle before her eyes. Magnificent did not do this building justice. It became frightening to look at for it's regal presence overwhelmed her. In a split second Sissy almost felt like she was going to have an endorphin rush. She was ready. She was prepared. She couldn't wait to get off this boat and start her life. A whole new life.

Ammar”Nature should never be forgot”Ammar listened to the man speak to him. He showed reverence, and was calm with the centaur. Perhaps, not all witches and wizards possessed the air of nobility that his father told Ammar they did. That eased the centaur greatly and he was able to speak to the human, "Ammar. Watcher of the stars,"
The centaur tore his attention away from the human long enough to watch the first years proceed from their boats, "I must follow them," Ammar smiled down at Zander. He offered his hand to the wizard.”It is resilient and determined to win”

Ammar”Nature should never be forgot”Ammar laughed at the man's awkward action. When the centaur held out his hand, he was offering a ride. But, it was a strange action even for a centaur, "Would you like a ride? I am going that way as well,"
The centaur had to go inspect the first years up closely,”It is resilient and determined to win”

((Sorry Akur, I'm about to GM you. I hope you don't mind, but I need to rush ahead!)) Ammar”Nature should never be forgot”Ammar gently pulled Zander onto his back, becoming used to wizards and witches riding on his back, "Hold on, please," He gently started off at a trot, then sped up to a gallop.
Ammar hoped the human would not fall off or get hurt, especially as he began to gallop over the steps leading up to the school. He would step up four steps with each stride, but he couldn't help that he had a longer stride than normal people. As he entered the Hogwarts grounds, he began to feel more and more alien. He felt unclean. He was different and he was out of place. But he was there for a reason and he would not go back now.”It is resilient and determined to win”

First Year--Hufflepuff I think I'll go for a walk,
Maybe out in the rain,
Maybe there'll be tears rolling down my face... Jack couldn't get her mind off of the female Ethelwine. It was stressing her out, and she didn't know what to do about it. Why did she have to have the tummy flutters for a female? She walked around the castle, eventually ending up at the lake. She couldn't take her eyes off of her feet, she knew that it was dangerous. She just didn't care. During her walk she accidentally walked into someone. "So sorry...", She looked up and saw Nicole. At least it's this one, and not the other one... ...And I'd feel the pain.
Maybe think about something?
Maybe think about you?
