Ạᶅαιие ᴄɦɋмβеяѕ "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Alaine didn't care that he was acting childish. He was well aware of the way he was behaving. But it didn't matter, at least to him anyways. Liam didn't know what he was about and Alaine wasn't about to set him straight. He would rather just lie here and sulk than to actually sit and explain himself better. If the male wasn't getting it by now, he never would. He didn't know how many ways he could make it known that he didn't care. Perhaps he needed an English to French dictionary? If he were to say it in French, could he get it then? He doubted it, the male simply didn't see things the way he did.
As he laid there curled up on the couch, he heard the male move from the table. He kept his eyes closed, muttering internally for the male to just go away. But as he sensed the male move toward him, and heard his voice, he could hold his tongue no longer. His eyes snapped open, he sat up and turned to face the male. "You're damn right you got no right to speak to me like that!" he snapped. He glared up at the male as he had nothing further to say to him. It wasn't that he was entirely angry at Liam, he was just pissed that someone could pinpoint him so easily. It had taken Samuel years to be able to read him that clearly. He didn't like it. He was intrigued by Liam and he hated it.

Ạᶅαιие ᴄɦɋмβеяѕ "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Alaine continued to lay there after the male left the room. He had his eyes squeezed shut, if he wasn't feeling like crap before, he wasn't even sure what this qualified as. It was about ten times worse than when he came into work. He wanted to blame Liam, but deep down he knew. He knew it was his attitude getting the best of him again. As he lay there, he became hyper aware of just how empty the room now was, how incredibly silent it suddenly was. It didn't help at all with his attitude. In fact, it only made it worse. He tried to ward off the feeling, concentrating on possibly sleeping. But the longer he stayed there, the more he knew it was impossible. He needed to do something, make it up somehow. But how? They weren't kids, a simple apology wasn't going to cure this. At least that was what he thought.
He stayed like this on the couch for only God knows how long. It could have been an hour, it could have been a mere few minutes. Either way, his thoughts plaqued him of Liam and he wanted to make them stop. He needed a distraction, something that could easily keep his mind in check. Sitting up once more, he threw his legs over the side and wandered towards the doors to the club. Cleaning, sound check, any of those would be better than sulking in the lounge. As he walked into the main area of the club, a man with mess brown hair and ice blue eyes looked up towards him. He paused, and smiled.Sam. He sighed as he walked towards the bar, and took a seat opposite the male. His boss gave him a questioning look, already knowing that something was wrong with him. Good old Sam. He could always tell when something was going down before anyone else. Without saying anything, Samuel took out Alaine's favorite drink and set it before him. He nodded his head and gave the male another weak smile. "Wanna talk about it?" Sam asked softly. Alaine shook his head. When did he ever want to talk about his problems? With that answer, they sat across from one another, nursing drinks and taking in the others company. Words weren't needed, Alaine just simply felt better whenever he was around Sam. He was like the loving big brother he never had.

" Sorries were simply a waste of words any more. Nothing could be fixed with a sorry especially when someone couldn't take it and turn it into forgiveness. Liam closed his eyes as he leaned against the wall. The building hardly holding him up as he sat there. He sighed softly as the music played loud inside his ears, he couldn't get the male's angry face out of his head. Liam had never upset someone so fast, and never enough to have them yell at him. He had thought the talk between the two was going well but showed what he knew about someone he didn't know. Liam felt his phone vibrate inside his pocket as he sat there, he sighed knowing he would have to answer it. He pulled the phone out seeing it was Johnny, he didn't want to talk to the male right now. Liam turned off his phone sticking it back inside his pocket.
He knew he could have to go back inside, since it was starting to get cold as a slight breeze picked up. Liam stood up as he grabbed his bag, heading back inside. The door shut behind him, as he walked back toward the employee lounge. He saw the door was open, looking inside he saw the male was gone. Liam relaxed as he walked inside, he moved toward his locker. He turned off his i-pod slipping it back inside his bag, as he unlocked his locker. Liam stripped off his clothes, shoving them back inside his bag. He pushed his bag into his locker closing it up.
Liam knew he had to go get ready but he wasn't in the mood. He ran a hand through his hair as he walked back toward the door. Liam left the room, just as other dancers passed him in the hallway. He didn't want to go to work tonight but he had never missed a day of work and wasn't about to now. Liam made his way toward the dance floor as he passed various hallways. As he walked into the main dance area, he looked toward the bar seeing the male. He quickly looked away as he tried to block the male out. Liam walked over toward his cell, each dancer was assigned a cell, some had two or more, but he preferred to work alone. He pulled the door open as he walked inside, closing it behind him. "

Ạᶅαιие ᴄɦɋмβеяѕ "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Samuel knew something was up with Alaine. For starters, he never nursed a drink. Especially his favorite drink. On a good night, Alaine would easily go through three "A d**k'll do", two cosmopolitans, and four rum and cokes. Never once getting so much as a light buzz. But staring at his friend told him something was up. And had to be a dancer because as soon as they stepped in the room the younger male tensed and refused to even look up and around at them as he normally would. "Alright Alaine," he said sternly. "Out with it.Who did you sleep with this time?"
Alaine's head snapped up at the question, his look one of shock. Where the hell did that come from? And what made him think he slept with one of the dancers. Yeah he slept with someone, but not a figgin dancer! He learned his lesson long after sleeping with that other dancer! Not only had Samuel chewed him out to no end, but that idiot had ended up stalking him for about a month after he stopped taking his calls and texts. And to make matters worse, he worked with the dude. No, never again would he ever sleep with an employee. Samuel chuckled at the males expression and threw him his clipboard. "Get to work." he ordered. Alaine rolled his eyes, but took the clipboard. He tipped his head back to drain the rest of his drink and left the bar to Sam. As he walked away, he took a glance to see what was on today's agenda.
The list read: -Light test -Sound Check -apologize to whoever you pissed off -take over the bar @ 9:40
He smirked at the bold letter instructions and made for Liam's cage. He took a deep breath, he really didn't want to do this. But if he didn't, there was no telling what Sam might do to him if he didn't. His boss may have been his best friend, but he was very strict when it came to his orders. So as much as he didn't want to do this, he had no choice. Alaine walked towards the males cage, keeping his head low so he wasn't faced with the other dancers crotches and such all in his face as he passed. When he was standing before the male, he made it seem like he was just checking out the lights, scribbling a bit on to his paper. 'Just do it.' he thought. He took a warning glance over his shower to Liam. 'Do it.' He glanced again. Why was this so hard? And more over, why did he have to apologize? It was his fault, he shouldn't have gotten into his business like that. Alaine leaned against the stage next to the steel cage, again pretending to actually be writing something. If he was going to be able to do this, Liam needed to say something first. Alaine was never good at starting conversations, especially ones that involved apologizing.

Ạᶅαιие ᴄɦɋмβеяѕ "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Alaine had been so lost in his thoughts about how he was going to do that he hadn't even noticed the male come towards him. He flinched at the sound of his voice and turned his head to look up at him. A horizon of red flushed from the tips of his ears and across his nose. God this was embarrassing. It would be different if they'd kept this in the lounge, but now even that was impossible. Sam was manning the bar, the dancers were getting into position in their cages and beds, the DJ was going through a sound check and getting the play set together. The cast was almost in place, it was almost time to get the night started. Alaine turned to the stage and held out his clipboard to the male, pointing to the bold instructions. If he was going to do this, he wanted to do it with as few words as possible. Alaine was no good when it came to apologizes. He was hardly any good with simple greetings, how was he supposed to apologize for a fight he didn't even start?
When he was sure the male had read the instructions his boss gave him, he withdrew his clipboard and turned away from the male once more. He was thankful for the dim lights, he didn't feel as embarrassed as he normally would about blushing so much. "Don't take every little thing I say so seriously." he said loud enough that Liam could hear him, but low enough that anyone near by was out of earshot. Alaine took a glance over his shoulder to the male. This close up, he looked really good. And it was distracting him. He couldn't remember what he had planned on saying and now didn't know what he should say. He turned away, embarrassed, finding himself completely unable to even look at the male as he spoke with him. "What time do you get off?" he asked suddenly. If he was going to do this, he wanted to do it in privacy and preferably with the male wearing actual clothes.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Alaine scratched out the bold line on his list of chores. He could still feel the males presence lurking behind him, watching him closely. When he heard the males voice again, he merely smirked to himself. "I get hungry after work and I hate to eat alone." he replied, placing his pen behind his ear. "Meet me in the lounge when you get off." with that said, Alaine moved away from the cage and started off towards the DJ booth. He didn't know if the male was actually going to meet with him, but if Liam wanted any kind of forgiveness, it was worth a shot. It wasn't a complete lie, it was just easier to make something off the top of his head. Strutting across the room, he didn't even so much as glance back at the male. He said what he wanted for now and his other duties were calling him. There was still half an hour left until the club opened.
Up in the DJ booth, he performed the usual test with tonight's DJ. He also stole a few chance glances down below towards Liam. Definitely one perk of being up there. He also tested the lights and sound, all the while he wondered if the male would take him up on his offer. He wouldn't blame him if he didn't. After all, it was Alaine who yelled and cooped an attitude. He should consider himself lucky that the male even acknowledged him while he stood by his cage. Because truth be known, Liam didn't have to say anything to Alaine. He could have easily allowed him to stand there looking like an idiot and all night if he so wished.

Ạᶅαιие ᴄɦɋмβеяѕ "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Alaine went about his duties until it was time to open the door and start letting people in. He was manning the bar as usual with Samuel by his side. It was rare to see the owner out on the floor, but tonight seemed to be one of his chosen nights. The two made idiots of themselves by dancing along to the music, singing loud and off key, anything to keep the crowds pumped and eager to come back for more. They were both masters when it came to making drinks and loved to out due one another in performing bar tricks. Tonight was not Alaine's night. The entire time he worked the bar, all he could think about was Liam. Whenever he could, he'd steal seldom glances and lose his focus. Samuel caught on to this and made it his personal mission to keep Alaine on his toes. He didn't let him space out for more than a few seconds. Any longer and he was likely to be gone to the world.
At around midnight the place was beginning to die down.It was dead compared to their usual crowd, but for a club in the Hamptons during the off season, it was doing rather well and still going strong. Alaine slumped against the bar. Fewer people were buying drinks, it was mostly drunks or near drunks out on the floor, gathered in groups, just about dead. Alaine wished Samuel would just close shop. Hardly anyone was coming anymore and he was getting hungry. As he told Liam, vending machines didn't make a meal. And right now was a prime example. His stomach grumbled, he wasn't even trying to be discreet anymore while he watched Liam dance in his cage. This night needed to end.

Ạᶅαιие ᴄɦɋмβеяѕ "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Alaine was all but drooling as he watched Liam dance. In fact it was kind of creeping his boss out. He'd seen the male taken to plenty of people, but hardly any of them being fellow colleagues. It was kind of creepy watching him keep such a tight watch on someone, especially when that person just so happened to be a dancer. Since it looked like they wouldn't last longer than another hour, Sam decided he needed to give Alaine something to do before he started humping the bar. Handing him a pair of yellow elbow length rubber gloves, he sent the male off to the kitchen to get a jump start on washing dishes. Alaine groaned, but did as he was told. "Yes master." he muttered. Samuel chuckled at that and lightly thumped him on top of the head. "That's Master Samuel to you."
Walking off, he took one last fleeting glance to the man in the cage. His movements were hypnotic and his looks were to die for. He really did need to do something else. He couldn't wait to get off, he still wasn't sure if the male would actually go out with him, but he'd never know until he tried. That was another thing he'd been thinking about all night. Since he didn't know what the male liked to eat, he didn't know where they could go, or what would be open for that matter. He could think of a few resturants and plenty of fast food places, but he wasn't sure what the male was in the mood for.
For the next two hours Samuel kept him busy helping with the clean up by busing tables, washing dishes, scrubbing toilets, moping, and vaccuming. When he was done, he was once again slumped over the bar, only this time with a drink in hand. Most of the staff had already taken off for the night and two stragglers were exiting the building. The club was officially closed for the night, thank god. He finished off his drink and wished Sam a good night. He then went back through the halls and made for the back lounge. At his locker he gathered his supplies, not sure if he needed to check his levels or not yet. Since he was planning on eating after he left, he figured it would be okay. Aside from that he'd been eating a lot of sugar snacks, it was best if he made sure. So he quickly went through the routine; pricks, shots, pills. All of them once again being stuffed away back into his large gym bag, and zipping it all up. He took the bag out of the locker and went to lay down on the couch. He was sleepy, hungry, embarrassed. He really did hope things went well with Liam. With that in mind, he lay back, an arm behind his head and his eyes closed. 'Hurry up Liam.' he thought as he lightly dozed.

Lιαϻ Ӎαттнεω Lαɴεxxxxxxx ʟιғε ιs α ραятӌ…sσ ωε ϻιɢнт αs ωεʟʟ ɖαɴcε.
"The night seemed to go one forever but to Liam it was only a few minutes. When he danced it was like everything was lost to him, he only focused on the music and his body. He kept dancing only hoping that the male was watching him, but he knew he was. A few times throughout the night he had caught the male looking at him, but it only caused him to look away. He enjoyed the male's watching eyes, it gave him a sense of power over him, but knew it was only a small amount.
Liam danced through the night soon steadily growing tired. One could only dance for so long especially inside a cage. Every so often there was breaks but still it paid his bills and he was good at it. He knew it was almost time for closing which gave him a peace of mind. Liam couldn't stop thinking about the male, he wondered what the male was planning afterward. He had never gone out with any one at work, and had never really actually talked with them. Sure there was a few hello's but nothing like the conversation with Alaine.
As the night died down, and it was time to close. Liam slipped out of his cage as he weaved his way back toward the lounge. He knew most of the other dancers had gone home, they usually left before him. Liam preferred to stay till the end to make sure there was nothing else he could do to help. He walked toward the room, pushing the door open he saw Alaine laying on the couch passed out. Liam knew the male had, had a long night and wasn't sure if he still wanted to eat or just go home. He could understand the male wanted to sleep after all he was tired himself.
Liam walked over to his locker as he unlocked it, pulling out his bag he unzipped his pants removing them, along with his arm bands. He unzipped his bag as he redressed himself in his boxers, tank top, and pants. Liam grabbed his shoes as he slipped them on. He shoved his dirty clothes into his bag as he grabbed his keys, closing his locker behind him. Liam wasn't sure if the male was driving him or if he was driving but he still needed his keys. He looked back over at the male as he was still lying on the couch. Liam smiled at the male's sleeping face as he walked over to him. He leaned down and poked the male in the side, "Alaine." Liam replied softly trying not to scare the male but wake him up. "

Ạᶅαιие ᴄɦɋмβеяѕ "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Alaine stayed there on the couch pretending to sleep. Even though he was tired enough to fall asleep, it was far too noisy. Other workers crowded into the lounge grabbing things from lockers, talking, getting snacks, it was hard just to keep up the facade of being asleep. But he didn't complain, because as soon as the noise came, it was just as quickly gone. The sounds of slamming doors and car engines replaced the previous noise, making things more quiet, soon to the point of only the sounds of silence could be heard.
Alaine yawned widely and stretched his arms above his head. As tired as he was, he wasn't about to give up on going out with Liam. Even though they worked together, there was no telling when and for how long he might actually see him again. Alaine settled back down as he waited, closing his eyes and drifting between the feelings of being awake and asleep. He was just about to allow himself into a light nap when something poked at his side and he heard a soft males' voice. His eyes snapped open and his entire body flinched. Alaine was quite sensitive on his sides; the lightest of touches could make him squirm. He looked around before settling on the males face. Sighing in relief, he shook his head before sticking his tongue out childishly at the male.
Standing up from the sofa, Alaine stretched once more. A few joints cracked before his body sagged once more. He lifted his gym bag from the floor and tossed it over his shoulder. Without a word he motioned for Liam to follow him. Walking through the back halls, he knocked once on one of the passing doors, and walked out into the parking lot. Alaine didn't mind sharing a car, but if the male chose to simply follow him, that would be fine too. It would be a pain to either drop the male off at lord knows where and then back track home. If they did share a car, Liam could crash on his couch because after he ate and settled things from earlier he didn't really feel like driving anywhere other than home. "What do you feel like eating?" he asked, as he popped the trunk on his car. Thanks to the nice sized amp in back, there wasn't much room for much else, but somehow he made the bag fit. He leaned against the open trunk, turning back to Liam, still waiting on an answer.
