Morrigan watched Voss carefully as he assessed her, sensing something strangely familiar about him. The wolf tilted her head as he spoke and began to toss aside his equipment and body armor. She noticed his eyes change color and let out a pleased sound as she realized what this familiar feeling was. He was like her, a wolf changed by contact with demons. He could provide her what she was seeking.
The wolf watched him begin to transform, pacing a bit faster with some impatience. She took in his appearance and then heard his growl, heard his challenge. If it were possible to do so, the wolf would be grinning right now She could feel just how strong he was, and it was quite exciting for her, especially with his challenge.
She stopped pacing and took a single step towards him with a challenging growl of her own. She could feel his strength and see how large and imposing he was, but she wasn't going to back down. He looked strong, but he hadn't proven himself to her yet. She growled again and then leapt forward, attempting to bite down on one of his arms. It wasn't a move that would cause much real damage, but it would make her acceptance of his challenge quite clear.

Blade gave a startled sound as he put her on his shoulder and steadied herself with a hand on his other shoulder as he moved her and the boar over to the trees. She could pick up his emotional state easily and knew that he'd understood what she hadn't: that she'd simply needed to run, that there was no reason necessary for it.
She considered and finally gave a soft sigh and a simple nod, "Okay," she said simply then slid down him to the ground and wrapped her arms around his waist, pressing her head to his chest.
After a moment, she pulled back and considered him as she thought about trying something, then simply did it.
While her brother had excellent control over his demonic half enough to be able to use magic, Blade had always missed out on the magic side of things. But she suddenly knew she could do something and wanted to see if it was true.
She held a hand over the ground and concentrated then touched into the natural magic, using the flames to bring something to them.
She succeeded, though not totally cleanly...
She'd brought him a set of clothes that were only a little singed, and his blades that were warm to the touch, "I didn't bother with the guns because of the bullets," she said with a brief startled grin. Of course, he'd understand that this was the first time she'd ever done something like this...
Their Mating bond helped stabilize her connection to her demon half. She'd never be as good at magic as her brother was, but in a pinch she could do some damage in a fight...

Voss watched the display from the wolf, and when it lunged at his arm he simply sighed as the she bit into his arm, his growl grew deep as his other arm grabbed the wolf and picked it up pulling it away from his other arm and then tossing it aside before he lunged forward his fangs bared as he approached swiftly his intent to lock his teeth into the wolf’s throat and pin it to the ground, he hadn’t quite decided that he was going to kill this wolf, but neither did had he decided to let it live. His deep red eyes seemingly seeing through the wolf as he moved instinctively.
Wulfric was surprised by the display that she had been able to bring his knives and clothes to where they were and nudged Blades head with his muzzle and gave her a loving hug before he changed back to normal. Once normal he got dressed and glancing at Blade as he got his knives where they needed to be “Blade, the desire to run will always come and go, as does the need for everything else, but regardless of what you do and when, I’ll always be by your side.” He felt he had to say it, considering the emotions he picked up through their bond. Once the knives were where he wanted them he sat down by Blade and rest his hand at her hip as he moved close to her.

Blade gave a nod to him as she leaned her head against his shoulder, "I get it," she said softly. Thankfully, he hadn't protested getting dressed. She lost too many IQ points when he wasn't wearing clothes...
After a moment of simply sitting with him, she pushed up and looked around, trying to place where she'd led them, "Hang on a sec," she said then started climbing the tree they were next to. She was able to get up past the canopy and identified where they were then moved back down to drop next to him, "Okay, we're closer to the village than I thought. The leathersmith is just a few hundred yards over there," she pointed out then moved her hand a bit to the right, "That way goes to the village past Borias' place. We could deliver the boar to them," she offered, hoping that he wouldn't mind the side trip.
Honestly, she hadn't intended to lead them out this far, but knew that she hadn't been thinking at all... Still, it gave them a direction, "I think you'd like Borias and Layla. He's a centaur and she's an elf. Odd couple, but they make it work. She's also one of the best archers I've ever seen," she explained then reached up to cup the back of his head and pulled him down for a brief kiss, meeting his eyes for a moment before she let him go and reached over to help him pull the boar.
The kiss was unexpected, even for her, but she'd suddenly wanted a kiss and had made sure that she'd gotten one.

Voss saw the change in her eyes, his growling had changed to a sigh as he locked eyes with her his grip on her throat was released, suspecting her going limp was likely a chance to do something but he was done, there was more going on here than he cared to admit, and moved away from her taking a couple of steps back and just sat down suddenly and watched her, his head wasn’t entirely sure he could believe there were others like him but then again anything was possible, after all the dogs of war were the same, the possibility that someone else would be subjected to a similar case was reasonably good.
He cocked his head as he watched the wolf, at this point he would back off, and leave the decision in the hands of the hybrid to decide whether or not this would continue or not, it wasn’t like he didn’t have anything better to do at this point in time so wasting some time figuring out a hybrid that wasn’t under the control of RRT was as good a thing to do as anything else he would likely do later.
His mind continued to pour over the scenarios presented but at this point there wasn’t a scenario he could think of that could explain this predicament he found himself in, granted if things got out of hand he could just simply kill it and move on, but he was more interested in seeing where they came from and who they were, as well as how they became what they are now.

Morrigan took a moment to catch her breath as Voss released her. She got back up with a growl, clearly intending to fight. But as she saw him simply watching, the wolf simply sat back as well. The wolf was pure rage, but she wasn't stupid. She was at a serious disadvantage against Voss. His wolf was significantly larger and stronger than her, especially since Morrigan and her wolf were so disconnected. If they got into a serious fight, it likely wouldn't end well for her.
Morrigan stared back at Voss for a bit before the wolf finally started to calm down a bit, her eyes settling into a much calmer shade of red. A moment later, the wolf actually allowed her human mind to take back over. Morrigan was a bit confused as she suddenly found herself in the forest without a single stitch covering her and a pain in her neck. She tried to piece things together from the moment she had shifted, since her memories after the shift were hazy at the very best.
She quickly noticed Voss sitting near her, allowing her to figure out where her neck pain probably came from. She sighed and sat back a bit, clearly a bit frustrated. "So who are you then?" she asked, sounding as frustrated as she looked. She wasn't sure how much time had passed or why she seemed to be in a fight with another Were who had seemingly managed to make her wolf back down.

As Voss sat there he watched the wolf change, a woman no less and couldn’t help but have his head cocked slightly as she tried to figure things out, when her question came he couldn’t help but look behind him where his gear was and stood up, walked over to his gear and changed on the spot, once the change was complete he didn’t waste any time getting into his pack and pulling out another pair of uniform clothes and while he got dressed he answered her “I’m Voss, just Voss, I’m a specialist with RRT” Voss finished getting dress and got his body armor and gear put bac on minus one of the packs and grabbed his rifle and slinging it on his shoulder before he started walking over to the woman and stopped by her, he pulled out a shirt and offered it to her “and you are?” was all he said while he stood there, with a casual look on his face, he posture relaxed as he stood there.

Wulfric enjoyed the kiss Blade gave him and made everything that much more enjoyable. It was a perfect reminder of that fact that she was his mate, and nothing was going to change that fact. When she reached over to help him move the boar he didn’t refuse since it gave them the opportunity to do something together, and finally spoke up regarding the trip to see Borias and Layla “I don’t mind, will allow us some time together, and give me a chance to see the area properly” he admittedly had taken a contract to remove one person from existence and when he came here he hadn’t seen much of anything. So, he simply took her up on the offer to not only spend time with her but also see the area as it was.
Voss nodded as he listened to her and when she mentioned that he was different but similar he shrugged a bit and replied “well, I guess you could say that. For me and those like me, we were changed by demon blood after consuming it as a wolf during a battle, some of us aren’t as changed as others but the blood of a demon and a wolf are one of the same for me and everyone else like me” Voss accepted the returned canteen and returned it to his belt before he continues “but being a hybrid isn’t all that bad once you get used to it, having the best of two worlds is, at least for me, made doing my job much easier to do which helps in the long run as then I can do what is necessary to complete my job and come out of it alive” Voss was a bit concerned that she might be fighting herself based on what she said and continued “couldn’t say for sure what I could have done to calm your wolf, apart from toss your wolf aside and pin it to the grown before letting it go and sitting down to watch” he was honest in that he wasn’t sure what caused the calming effect to begin with though the thought did cross his mind the fact he appeared dominant might have done it which might also explain her scent, and pheromones were telling him she was fighting her needs but he wasn’t going to point it out since that might be rude and embarrassing for her.

Blade gave him a brief smile as they pulled the boar along, noting that they were both strong enough to do it. But it was more surprising when she did something like this, at least it surprised the humans she met. Mainly it was because she was small and delicate looking. She didn't look like she could haul a full grown boar across the forest, after all...
But she liked the fact that Wulfric never questioned what she could do. With him, she had a partner, not someone that would try to protect her in a fight. They could protect each other and she knew he'd let her fight as much as he did. That meant more than she could say...
Eventually, they caught sight of the building that was both house and work space for the leathersmith and she motioned to the side of the building where the main door was, "Over there, Main door. We can leave this outside and go in to tell Layla and Borias about it," she said simply, knowing that Layla the elf had gotten very good at skinning kills and preserving the hides.

Griz moved through the castle courtyard, noting that the horses had already moved on to explore the island. That was fine. He didn't want to have to deal with them when his temper was a bit uncertain thanks to hunger.
He walked down to the treeline and hung his coat on the branch of a tree then stripped down, folding his clothes to lay with the coat. Then he shifted, loving the strength in his bear form.
After a moment of stretching, he started moving through the trees, strangely silent for such a large bear. He did catch Lydia and Ashigaera's scents, but moved on past them before they could see him.
He finally noted a family of boars and started up the chase. But his hunt was interrupted by a gang of people with rifles and guns. They all shook for a moment as he looked at them, then they seemed to gather their courage again.
As they raised their weapons at him, he gave a bellow that was powerful enough to shatter eardrums if they'd been close enough. As it was, it still rattled them a enough that their first shots were off.
Then he was charging and the fight was on...
