Alaine could tell the male was getting frustrated with his short answers, and in seeing that made him think maybe, just maybe he could give the male a very small clue as to where they were headed. Since the male didn't get out much, it was still very likely that he wouldn't be able to guess where it was they were going. "Alright, here's one hint, but it's I'm giving you. The place we'll be eating at is in Manhattan. Just a few avenues over from the gallery we'll be going to. Now that's it, no more hints. Guess all you want, but that's it." he said softly, hints of amusement filling his voice even though he kept any of it from showing on his face. As they rode on, the train soon came to another station and a woman's automated voice came on over the intercom annoying just where it was they were, which was still somewhere in Queens. He sat there beside the male as cold air rushed in while people entered and exited the train, scrambling around to find empty seats or handheld. It wasn't but another five minutes before they were leaving once more. The train rattled, people chattered, and the lights flickered a few times before settling.

He enjoyed the small game the male played with him in return as he watched those around him. Liam wasn't all that concerned with where they were going, he was simply making small talk as they sat there. He knew it was worthless even before he opened his mouth. Hearing the male speak, he looked over at him and smiled. Liam couldn't help find amusement in the male's amusement for teasing him. "Fine. No more questions." He spoke hearing the voice over the intercom as the train stopped. Liam waited as people went and came before the train started again. He looked over at Alaine, "So are you working tomorrow?" Liam asked curiously since he had to work tomorrow. He liked working even if all he did was dance. Sometimes he like the attention while other times he didn't, like last night. Liam had just wanted to spend time with Alaine and instead they were gawked at all night but it was to be expected. He smiled happy to have actually gotten the male to dance with him last night. Liam knew that Alaine danced in the DJ booth, he watched him a couple times before but actually being able to dance with him was nice for a change. He never really dance with others but more by himself. Liam wondered where else they could go for another date. He wasn't sure about going on a date any time soon after all he was working all next week and didn't have off till Wednesday so he was lucky he at least got to days in before not seeing the male as much. "

Alaine was both a tad surprised and disappointed when the male agreed to no longer ask him anymore questions. And Just when the game was getting entertaining. But he didn't complain, there was no need to, it was bound to end eventually. The male was just simply giving up as he had last night. It was fun while it lasted and they were likely to find something else to amuse each other with later. In the meantime, they sat in silence while people came and went on the train. Alaine stuck close to the male as cool air hit the back of his neck, making him shiver. When they were moving again, he looked down at the male, hearing his voice again and lifting his head slightly to look at him properly. He shrugged at the males questions. "Should I? Yes. Do I want to? Not really. I'll probably stagger in sometime after the club opens. There's not a chance Sam is gonna let me skip out anymore this month. Hell, this year. I can bet ya five bucks, come noon tomorrow, he'll be blowing up my phone none stop to make sure I'm up, dressed, fed, and on my way to the Hampton's." he replied, smirking to himself. Alaine knew he needed to stop skipping work, it made him look bad as both the co-owner and an employee of their club. He'd already missed so many business meetings, didn't stick to his schedule, it was a miracle Sam hadn't up and him sued him yet for pain and suffering. He was likely to behave tomorrow and go in. If he did, then he was likely to see Liam there. "What about you? You working?" he asked, hoping the male to say yes.

Liam looked over at the male as he spoke and nodded, "Yes, unfortunately I'm working most of the week actually." He spoke not really minding, after all it was his job he didn't have the luxury to not do it. Liam knew that Alaine didn't have much luxury either but he had more than he did. He was lucky he got every other weekend off if that sometimes. Liam usually had to cover sometimes on the weekend or other nights with some of the dancers didn't show. He wished he didn't have to but he was used to it. Plus he was the type of the person to do it without complaining. "

Hearing that the male had to work made him instantly perk up and forget about that shred of disappoint about their little game. Alaine loved watching the male work. Even before they'd met, whenever he was working the booth or the bar, Liam was always one of his favorite dancers to watch. He remembered the first time he'd ever seen the male, he'd asked Sam just "who the new guy" was, in those words more or less. The man put all of their previous best dancers to shame. It was always something of a thrill to watch him. He couldn't help but grin at the males tone and lack of enthusiasm about working. "Aw, poor thing." he teased. "Guess I've have to make things interesting to keep you from falling asleep in that cage of yours." Looking away from the male for a moment, he did a quick check around to make sure no one had heard what he'd just said. Not that he cared if they did, he just hated when people eavesdropped. It wasn't even their business yet people always seemed to get the wrong idea about things whenever they only caught a bit or piece of something. He finished looking around and went back to giving the male his undivided attention.

He was curious to know what those interesting things were. Liam watched as the male looked around, he didn't care if anyone heard him. He smiled at the male's words, "Oh really? What will you do?" Liam asked as he thought about what the male could do but kept it to himself. He wanted to know what the male would do. Liam didn't mind working especially if Alaine was there. He wanted to work tomorrow, even though he didn't want to go for the work. Liam wanted to go to see what the male would do, even if he was just teasing him. "

Leaning a bit closer, he let go of the males hand and instead wrapped his arm around the males shoulders. "Well, I can easily think of about three things that involve locking ourselves in Samuel's office and messing up his nice desk." he replied, lowering his voice and, of course, completely joking. "If that doesn't hold your attention I can always sneak you up to the DJ booth and teach you a few things, or show off my awesome skills as a bartender and see how long it takes to impress you with a few tricks." Alaine gave the male a charming smile as he spoke. If such an occasion were to come up tomorrow, he honestly didn't know what he would do. He could talk big all he wanted right now, but if this were to actually happen, he was most likely to just make something up as he went along. So for the time being, baffling the male with some bullshit seemed like the best way to go.

Liam listened as the male spoke he didn't care if the male was joking he listened either way. He smiled up at the male, "Hmm. Sounds like a few good ideas." Liam spoke knowing that the male was just all talk but it sounded good to him. He liked the second and third idea the male was giving to him better than the first. Liam couldn't complain about it but he he didn't want to be alone in Sam's office. He didn't want to think about they had done in their. Liam wanted to get it off his mind, so he leaned forward and kiss Alaine before pulling away from him. "

Technically it wasn't just Sam's office. The room was surprisingly large, so it was more of a joint office. But because Alaine couldn't stay in one place long enough to get any work done, it was mostly used by Sam, who took care of most of the behind the scenes work, while Alaine took care of the chores and occasionally paid the bills and saw to keeping everything up to code. When he mentioned the office, he could sense a moments hesitation in the male. It made him wonder just what it was he could be thinking about. Was he still upset about the previous relationship he shared with Sam? He knew the male was furious when Sam kissed him the other day, and even more so when he confessed to sleeping with him. But he'd already explained himself to the best of his ability and thought the male would be somewhat over it by now. But it seemed he was wrong. Alaine briefly closed his eyes as the male kissed him, kissing back before he pulled away and taking his arm with him. Again silence fell, but he didn't mind. The train soon pulling into another station and the woman's voice coming overhead, announcing them to be at 2nd and 39th. "C'mon this is us." he said, taking the males hand and standing up. He held on to the closest metal pull until the train came to a complete stop. A low hiss sounded and the doors once again swung open. Alaine lead the male the through the maze of people, grates, and up a flight of stairs to the streets. The art gallery he planned on going to wasn't too far from where they currently where, just up the street and around the corner. He figured they could wander around a bit, talk about art and culture or whatever it was people talked about when they went to an art gallery, afterwards, they could grab a cab and then head up to the restaurant and that was about as far as his plans were from here. He was still trying to make things up as he went along.

It was hard to be over something so quickly after all he had spent the night with Alaine and have him turn around to sleep with Sam. Liam couldn't simply get over that even though they weren't together then. He knew his relationship with different than Sam's but in a way he feared the male would get angry at him and go back to Sam just to sleep with him. Liam didn't want that to happen but he couldn't control it. He just wanted things to work between Alaine and him. Liam sat there in silence for awhile before hearing the voice over the intercom. He nodded at Alaine's words as he took his hand. Liam stood up as he held onto a pole near him not wanting to fall. He followed Alaine as he lead him out of the train and through the people. Liam held onto Alaine's hand not wanting to get lost in the sea of people. He climbed the flight of stairs finally coming upon the top as they stepped out from the mass of people coming and going. Liam looked around as he held onto Alaine's hand. He smiled happily to himself to see new things. Liam didn't think he had been over here before but perhaps he had passed by it in driving. He wasn't good with direction at times and usually got lost on his own. At least Alaine was with him so he wouldn't get lost as long as he didn't stray to far. "

Alaine knew he was a bit of a slut when he was pissed, but somehow he managed to have a bit of better control of his anger when he was in a relationship. If it was no strings attached then he did as he pleased, which was usually vent his frustrations with a hooker or Sam. But so long as he was tied down, he tried not to sleep around as much. It was for these reasons that he told the male that he would try not to cheat on him. It was why he didn't give him a simple yes or no when the male told him he couldn't standing cheating. He could understand, he didn't know anyone who actually liked being cheated on. But this was a part of who he was. It wasn't often that he was tied down and it wasn't like he could change his habits completely overnight. For Liam he would try. He'd gotten this close to him already and was curious how much further they could go. As he'd told the male, it wasn't often he got close and Liam was the first he'd come to trust so quickly. He didn't want to so lose him over something like a petty argument or some misunderstanding. Alaine also wasn't so sex crazed that he would start something just to get some either. Tease all he liked, but sex always had and would be one of the furthest things from his mind. Standing from his seat and leading the male into the streets, they found themselves on 2nd and 39th avenues. It wasn't too far from where they needed to go, but it was far enough in the cool winter weather. Luckily, it was just cold. There hadn't been much snow or any other unwanted weather about lately, winter was finally coming up and coming up fast. He stuck close to the male as he walked, so that they weren't separated and for a bit of body heat. The streets were somewhat crowded, much crowded than the streets back down by the males apartment. He held the males hand, glancing back at him now and again, seeing that adorable smile playing about his lips. He couldn't help in his thinking of the male like an excited puppy. The way he looked around, he excited grin, add some ears and a tail and he was tempted to start calling him Elsie as it was the same reaction his dog had earlier this morning.

Liam knew the male had said he would try, and so far things seemed alright. He didn't want to make a fuss because he had no right to. Liam wanted things to work between Alaine and him so he kept it to himself. He liked Alaine enough to leave it alone. Liam didn't want to make Alaine annoyed with him after all he had done it before. He walked along side the male feeling his eyes on him. Liam looked up and saw the male was watching him. He felt awkward about it but found it amusing either way. Liam couldn't help his excitement, "What?" He asked, as he looked up at the male. Liam didn't mind being watched, after all he was used to it. He just wanted to know what Alaine was thinking. Liam wondered if he was acting to excited for him or something else. "

Alaine actually had a lot more patience than people gave him credit for. He could tolerate just about anything and everything, he had to. After all, he was given such lessons when he was a mere child. So dealing with someone like Liam wouldn't be much of a problem. On the contrary, he found him rather amusing. It was just that one time and then their whole misunderstanding, he was upset and made a mistake. He was only human after all, and like humans, emotions caused mistakes. This one just so resulted in him sleeping with both his former lover and best friend. They were bound to get annoyed or pissy with one another some time or another, he was fully prepared for that. But what his next move would be would depend on the situation. Sex just wasn't his only outlet. There was the common kicking and screaming, going out for a walk/drink/drive, or his favorite, blasting music, locking the door, and just going to sleep. They were halfway up the block when the male finally took notice of him glancing at him. Alaine flashed him a sexy smile and shook his head. "Oh nothing.......Elsie." he replied, lowering his voice a tad when he called the male by his beloved dogs name. He was merely teasing and didn't want the male getting angry at him, especially since they were in an area he was unfamiliar with. Sure there were plenty of cabs and buses and the station around, but would he be able to get where he wanted to go without getting lost?

The smile dropped from the male's face as he heard the male call him over his dog's name. Liam stared at the male curiously, he wasn't angry at him but found it amusing. "Woof." He spoke in response to the male calling him by Elsie. Liam hadn't realized he was acting to excited like a dog but he couldn't help himself. He was simply happy about seeing new things, and being in a new area. "
((Yeah well. I don't want to go there. Never been but I want to go live in Virginia or North Carolina. ))

Alaine watched as the male smiled back at him for a moment, only to have it leave his face as realization set in for what he called him. He chuckled at the males response and only grinned wider. "Good dog." he said, reaching up with his free hand and playfully ruffling the males hair.Picking up his speed a tad, he pulled the male through the crowds and came to the corner, pressing the button for the crosswalk, tightening his grip on the males hand as they stood among the crowd waiting to cross.
