ahhh, the only jrock groups i can think of that i'm still active with are an cafe and the gazette. i've been wanted to listen to more though~

i was super into japanese music back when i was in middle school and freshman year of highschool, but then i got into kpop and couldn't keep up with both. but now i'm getting back into japanese music~~ so hopefully i'll be able to add more bands to this list by the end of the year, hm?

J-Rock, like jock, can be such a wide variety of styles. So, I am going to just name drop.

My favorites include:
Acid Black Cherry, Abingdon Boys School, Ellegarden, Girugämesh, J (the bassist from Luna Sea), Miyavi, One Ok Rock, The Gazette & Vivid

I like listening to artist like:
Alice Nine, B'z, Breakerz, Buck-Tick, Dirty Old Men, LM.C, Sid, Spyair & X-Japan

More exploration into their discography is needed but, I like what I heard so far:
Back-on, Base Ball Bear, D, D'espairsRay, Honey L Days, Kagrra, Quruli, Screw & The Back Horn

I not a fan of L'Arc~en~Ciel. However, I tend to enjoy they songs.

Never cared for Dir En Grey.

Why hey there!!!! I'm Nanku/Nan or Fuka for online nowadays!!!! I love J-rock but not as much as J-pop and K-pop though!!!! (to explain my love for things) I love anything weird cause its different but harmless!!!! So its unique and the sound is different from the usual american things I hear in the car, restaurants, homes and etc. and anything happy and good feeling cause not everything is!

But, I think I love DOLL$BOX most and not in specific order "Man with a mission, NANO, One ok rock and for J-pop/J-rock bands "Ladybaby, Babymetal and Deadlift lolita" aswell cause I like the mixture its fun and amusing to see the two coins split and then flipped on the opposite sides to have both sides win!!!! I love "Ladybeard and Reika most because they're confident and not not let down by other's opinions of their actions and what they look like!!!! I think its great that he wears a beard, doesn't shave his legs and makes this experience new everytime because if he did it it would be atleast a little bit more serious and not silly!!!! But, thats not what would make him special!!!! What makes him special is he doesn't shave and he dances to J-rock/J-pop songs and sings with a body builder about protein shakes!!!!" So, thats why I like him!!!! heart 3nodding heart

Dir en grey was always my #1, and I'm so lucky they're still active and touring heart

Also liked hide (X Japan) Miyavi (his old stuff), BUCK TICK, some GazettE, An Cafe, and many other bands where I really only listened to ~5 or so songs sweatdrop

It's hard to remember after so long, I need to troll YT for sweet, sweet musical memories...
