It was interesting, though I now have a few little things to say about it ^_^ first and foremost, the one that I really wanted to say, but didn't. WHAT THE HELL, LORENTZ?! SERIOUSLY! We had to go and download some stuff, and my computer gets all huffy when I want to use Acrobat Reader. It goes freakishly slow. And I lucked out, b/c half the time, it won't print stuff from there!
English is too big crying 28 ppl in itty bitty 200A, my old 8th grade homeroom. You really can't fit that many ppl in there. But Drouant seems nice enough ^_^ Foss is awesome. There's some start up thing he has to do with the smartboard, and he calls it his little morning video game 4laugh And I'm in that class with Sara, McBride, Emma, MGT, etc. xd That should be interesting. Math is nice, just 12 ppl, with a time lag btwn the room halves. Karen, Sarah, Elizabeth, and I were a lttle ahead of the MGT side of the room xd It was kinda funny. I'm in choir with Becca and Stephy ^_^ 'Tis a big class!
I was so mad at lunch today! They jacked the prices! I got fries, felt really cheated. but Toria gave me a cookie ^_^ It was okay. I was happy to get my agenda, except I kinda needed it 1st period, but I can copy everything down tomorrow easily enough. Civic will be pretty cool. Although, it's 17 and 19 for the classes. They couldn't move just one person to make it even? Ugh, that is going to get on my nerves, but not so much as my last class. Religion will be barely tolerable. That class just gets worse and worse, I swear. And then there was creative writing burning_eyes
So, a few of us were waiting outside the media room, and I happened to glance down the hallway, when I saw Amanda. Now, even though there was a computer science class across the hall and it was entirely possible taht she was in that class, I just knew she was in creative writing. BLEH. We ended up in the same row, but there's an empty seat between us. It's staying there. Maybe someone will fill it. That would be nice.
We have to pick our jobs for the Menagerie tomorrow. My top 3 choices would be poetry editor, layout design, or the artwork-finder person ^_^ I can't be one of those ppl who goes and gets submissions, thank goodness. But I do know who some of the better creative writers are in the upper grades. The theme is Seasons of the Soul, I belive. Haha, why, I just realized, I have two wonderful DHS ppl here ^_^ We also were given the copy from my freshmen year (btw, nice one, Neko) I sorta flipped through it, checking out the pages with artwork and without, looking at layout, looking at the artwork they picked. That was a good year. So was the one before it.
If push comes to shove, I do have a 4th choice job. Advertising ^_^ Dude, wait, we have 13 ppl, but there's...15 jobs. Ah, wait, we have 14 ppl. One girl wasn't there. But I think the art one was actually a one-person deal, so maybe there's only 14 jobs...
but we write stuff for it, about 60% of it. A class drama piece, and then there's poetry, short stories, and essays! Go poetry! xd It's the best stuff, really!
Ugh, I slept for less than an hour this evening, but I'm wiped out. I have creative writing first, thankfully. Haha, Paz, Pizz, and Amanda. Interesting class, no?
