I have been posting in a forum for over a week now regarding a bunch of teenagers who think cutting is cool... but also deny that they do it because it's cool. Anyway, I wanted to post that in my blog to see what you myspace people think of it.
Cutting Is Cool
I'm not looking for a fight, and I am not looking to be yelled at by any emo cunts. All I wanted to say is, I have talked to a bunch of people who say that cutting is a disease, or cutting is addictive. Well, what I'm wondering is, how come all these kids are suddenly cutting themselves and blaming their mentality on it? Honestly, about 6 years ago the only people who cut were actual depressed people, and even then they didn't post it all over the internet or even tell people about it. And then the emo fad came into effect and automatically everyone is a victim. So whats up with that?
I have had many positive comments towards this topic which surprised me because I was expecting a bunch of people to just start some heated arguments with me. But a lot of people actually agree with me which is awesome. I am also going to post a couple other points that I have written.
As commented in another post:
Marj. Carrol. I'm sure Christa didn't mean all cutters... I'm sure she meant the people who are always posting how they cut themselves online to the point of annoyance.
I do agree that these people are making a mockery out of a legit mental disease.. and I think that you are a perfect example of that.
You have to admit though that the majority of people on here who "cut" are a bunch of teenagers who can't handle high school life and they are blaming that on their so called "depression" and "anxiety" that they indure.
What these people fail to realize is that every single person goes through what they think is just cheap shots at them. Everyone goes through the cliques, and the drama of teenage life. All teenagers are angry about something or confused about something. Everyone is discrimated against, everyone is prejudice in some way, everyone loses a family member or a friend.
They have to come into grips that they are failing at life miserably if they can't handle what life is all about.. and that is learning lessons. There is always a reason for something, but you have to learn for yourself what that reason is.

I will say this again.
I refuse to except cutting as an addiction. I will, however, except that it becomes a habit. People except it into their every day routine, kinda like brushing your teeth or biting your nails. But it is not an addiction. An addiction is a chemical dependence. A habit is kind of like a a twitch, or an obsessive compulsive reaction.

FINALLY!!! Thats what I have been waiting for this whole time!! Thankyou Anon!!! Thankyou!! I was waiting for someone to comment about how bad they had it and yet they didn't cut whatsoever!! OMG!! Those are the kinds of people you need to look up to! Someone who has gone through hard times and have still not resorted to something as foolish as cutting, but instead have gotten their lives together and learned from their lessons.
Thankyou very much Anon!

Oh come on Anon (the one below the first anon) I am so sick of hearing that. You have no idea how many times I have heard that! Plain and simple; I don't need to eat a pile of s**t to know it tastes bad. Same with cutting. I don't need to cut to know it's dumb! It is dumb. And you misunderstand the post completely. I wasn't singleing out Emo's... I just said I didn't want any whining from a bunch of emo cunts which you probably are. You need to learn to listen.

I was talking about this with my uncle yesterday; what would the ultimate fashion of the melinnium be? The 70's it was bell bottoms and collared shirts, the 80's it was baggy shirts, tight pants, loud colors, and for some... mullets. The 90's were all about neon green, MC HAMMER pants, and black stockings if you wore a dress. And for a while I remember people wearing their jeans backwards. But what about the melinnium? At the beginning in 1999 and 2000 I remember there being a lot of glitter! Silver and blue glitter clothing... but that didn't last long. I am honestly hoping that at elementary schools when they have their 00's days (like I had 60's days, 70's days, 50's days and dressed up) They wont be dressing in tight jeans, black band t shirts, with blood dripping off their wrists. That would just be wrong.

And then there is this conversation that just happened that has nothing to do with my post whatsoever. I thought it was kinda funny.
