Of course, we didn't get home 'til 4 sweatdrop Not my fault I actually obey the law and go 20 mph, thus pissing off a lady on Airline Park. She looked like she wanted to ram me out of the way xd But I was going exactly 20 xp I almost didn't drive home b/c physics had me so upset. Only a few inconvenient social conventions kept me from lobbing something across the room (particularly aimed at Foss). I was really upset. I used so much kleenex that I had to get rid of it before I left the room or risk dropping it in the hall (eww). Which required me to walk past Foss. He tried to ask me if I needed to come to conference and get help with what I screwed up, but I was so upset I couldn't trust myself to actually stop to briefly discuss. I probably would've cried, and that doesn't go over well with most teachers. I'm definitely staying tomorrow to debate 6 points and my bonus. I lost TWELVE points b/c of ONE stupid mistake repeated ad infinitum. 6 on multiple choice, which I can't argue, and 6 on the partial credit, which I intend to argue. Two points for each mistake. I made the same mistake 3 times, and any decent math teacher would see that and not take off all the points for every single one (Lorentz, for example). Foss? Nope. And it was the same mistake I made all over the quiz, the quiz I didn't see until AFTER the test! Quizzes are a test of your knowledge before the test so you can see what you do and don't know. No point in a quiz if you can't see it before the test!
He's not going to cave, I know that. All I can argue is that he owes me the bonus b/c he didn't even look at it. It was on the 1st page b/c I had room. Everyone else writes too big and had it on the extra page. But I didn't. I get burned for being different. Yet again. Why don't I get a big neon sign that says FREAK in big capital letters, stick it to my back, and just get it over with? rolleyes
I had more than one motivation for not talking to him right then. Quiz next period, the incoming class, the fact that I was so unstable that I had nearly lobbed my box of Kleenex at him.... sweatdrop etc. My mood vastly improved in math, where we didn't take the quiz, discussed detentions, and got back 4 grades that I did well on (yay, I have an A other than english xd ). Did I mention that I'm nearly acing english while losing my grades in all the other classes? That annoys me to no end. I'd rather lose my english exemption and do well in everything else (this is saying something considering I have to take all exams but physics and english, hopefully).
Having fun with the sestina? Oh, the benefits of sitting by all the AP ppls in physics. I get to hear about AP hell and wish I was in it right now with all the poetry stuff. Especially with the sestina! Those are fun to write. A major pain in the rear, maybe, but FUN!!! Yay for Creative Writing ^_^ Limerick, sestina, sonnets, all that good stuff. The trick for me is to avoid writing about my favorite, easiest topic sweatdrop Once I get away from that, it's fun ^_^ A sestina about elementary school, a haiku about fireflies (oops, stole the guiding light motif sweatdrop ), and a villanelle about Little Red Riding Hood. Nice fun topics. Well, the villanelle was a little depressing, but other than that ^_^
I'm babbling again sweatdrop Like anyone cares to hear 'bout that crap. Any of it. All of the above. Gosh, the least I could do is make it interesting. ignore all of that ^^;;;

I just watched 2 movies over the weekend involving the USSR. Needless to say, I was in hysterics at the absolute truth in that answer. A James Bond movie involving a few Migs and a nuclear weapon, and a movie involving a ton of Soviet nuclear submarines. Hmm.... xd
