well well well, another instalment of Wings adventures in Puerto Vallarta! WOOT!
Now, the morning started out as usual, waking sushi up, getting her down to breakfast, then meeting up with the others. My mom and dad told me that tomorrow my family was going to go down to the cruise docks to meet up with an old friend of theirs, whom I've never met. Huh. I wasn't to happy about that. I mean, it was a family reunion for crying out loud! Where we are supposed to spen time with your extended relitaves! Not a time to spend with people I hardly know...anyways, back to the point. I also didn't like the fact that we were going to take a public bus there, and I clearly stated my point, grumbling when they said I had to go. Grrr. So, I pushed that to the back of my mind, and went boogie boarding again with muffin and suzanna. Fun stuff, along with all the jellyfish. Apparently sushi and muffin's parents decided to take all the cousins jet skiing, and apparently my parents didnt know aobut it. So, I practically had to beg to go...sucks to be me. My dad agreed to rent a jet sky and ride with me. Yay! Just wait and see what happens next...
Well, apparently we all needed like, 6 of the jey skis, so my dad and I waited with my uncle and threee of my guy cousins for the next round. I was pretty much entertaining myself by trying to find sand fleas, crabs, and seashells, I tend to do that alot. I also couldn't help but spy two small stingrays whip past me. Now that was pretty cool.
half and hour later, it was our turn to ski. My dad revved us up, and we zoomed out into the ocean. It was so much fun! It was kind of hard to hold on though, expecially since I was in the back...eheh. After around...oh, I don't know, 20 minutes? My dad let me drive. I was nervous but exited. I started the ski up again and went to full speed, and I tended to make sharp turns on the wake...not the best thing. Eventually, I grew too nervous and my dad took over form there on out. We raced the others and we one (since our jet ski was the fastest) even if the others had a head start. Whoo!
My dad let me drive again, not a good idea. But, sadly, I did it anyways. Oops. The wake was getting rougher, since vallarta was in the rainy season so, alot of winds over the ocean. I still made those sharp turns. On one turn, I pulled a hard left, and my dad and I went flying a hard right whil the jet ski sputtered to a halt. We crashed into the water. I didn't feel any pain. It was more of shock than anyhting else. I'll put in some dialogue for this:
dad:" You okay?!" me: "yeah! I'm fine dad!" dad: "you sure?" me: -getting frusterated- "Yeah."
It was pretty much that the whole swim back to the jet ski. It got really annoying. But I understood his reasoning behind it. My dad drove us back to the shore, and I realized only later that I had a huge bruise on my leg. Ouch. And my dad had a bruised rib from that. Oops, sorry dad. It was quite a story to tell though. Then we went to luch where everyone else was waiting and ate, and ate, and ate...
The day after that was fairly uneventful, until it came to Fiesta Night...
My aunt, who organized this whole vacation, got us tickets to this fiesta thing. We all entered the ball room-like area and sat at 2 large round tables. It took us a moment to realize that there were no menues, therefore there was a buffet. I was fine with that, honestly. I got...quesadilllas, a chimichanga, these cinnomon bread things, them cream puff things, various other foods I can't remember, cotton candy, and a nasty tasting candied apple. Mmm mm mmm, yummy. I entertained my 4 year old cousein Rei-rei. She is so aborable! Her father, my uncle, married a japanese lady, who is my aunt, and they had a kid half japanese. As I said, she is soo cute! She speaks fluent japanese and fluent english. Woah. The guy cousins made these straw flute tings, where you melt part of the straw, then blow a bubble ting into it. Rei-rei had a blast with those. She also kept showing me the randomist things, claiming they were 'magic'! And I was like, "Yeah! It is magic! Good job!" she just laughed...I'm not all that great with little kids all the time. Sometimes I just don't have the patience. I went back to my room after dinner and pen sketched the sunset, hopefully I didn't throw it out. I don't think I did. Then I watched some of the performince from my room. The performance was in teh ampitheatre. Then I went to bed. Done deal.
See you next time!
