Get a load of this. This sh!t is being released to teenagers?
I mean seriously. This is crap and it's pissing me off.
The first two chapters of the book went on fine, but then I got to the third chapter... here's an excerpt from it:
'...He blinked at me with those big, dark eyes. His eyelashes were longer than mine. It isn't so often I run into a ghost who also happens to be a hottie.'
BULLSH!T. I wanna hear about how the guy freaking died not about how she thinks about his abs!! scream
'...He turned a little and put a boot up on to the pale blue cushion that covered the window seat, and I had seen definitive proof that yes, ghosts could indeed have six-packs.'
OK.
First thing's first. This is a book... a book teenagers would read. Girls, to be precise. I'm sure Meg Cabot has a lot of fans... A LOT. But what the hell is in this that teenagers find appealing? The love story??? Please. This ghost guy is about to tell her how he died and she goes on about his six pack?! No wonder girls are so stupid nowadays. Their minds are full of s**t because of the media.
Well, actually. It's not entirely the media's fault. The media is actually either a disadvantage or an advantage. It's all about perspective.... like most things actually are. You can take the influence of the media in two ways; positively or negatively... For some people, this book is an example of how annoying and unflattering it is to hear a girl blabbering about looks. For most people, this is GOOD sh!t. They think it's cool for a girl to think this way or they would just think like them without noticing about how crappy the attitude is. I didn't continue the book. I felt like it would degrade my personality to read a book as LOW as this. WHATTHEBOCK?! I can't believe Chelsea and the others read this book... they're actually gonna read the series! UGH! I can't even take one more chapter!!
I always get pissed off if I tell someone I'm crushing on somebody and their first question would be: "Is he cute?" At this stage, I would be mentally cursing the person. WHO THE HELL CARES IF HE'S CUTE OR NOT?! what if I like his personality but he just happens to be cute too??? SHOULD I GIVE A SH!T IN ANSWERING YOUR FREAKING QUESTION?! scream Don't talk to me! ><
