"What if I wanted to break? Laugh it all off in your face. What would you do?"
He's possessive and lonely, cold and at the same time an inferno. He loves her with all the little peices of a shattered heart.
"What if I fell to the floor? Couldn't take this anymore? What would you do?"
She's just as cold as he, but frailer. She loves him with all the little pieces of a shattered heart. She opens her arms to allow for a free shot. She has no hope.
"Come, break me down. Bury me, bury me ---"
"I am finished with you."
He yells at her, she stands as a stone pillar. Their eyes are dull gemstones.
He pushes her, she no longer stands as a pillar. A porcelien doll shatters somewhere.
"What if I wanted to fight? Beg for the rest of my life? What would you do?"
"You say you wanted more ---"
"What are you waiting for?"
"I'm not running from you."
Fire melts ice, and slowly she begins to lose whatever she had gathered beforehand. They don't yell, they never raise their voices. Her questions are starting to hurt them both. She has no hope.
"Come break me down. Bury me, bury me. I am finished with you."
They say they love but they can not see what they do to each other. Doesn't she know she cuts him deeper than his fire burns her, with each word that passes from her lips. Here a porcelin doll shatters.
"Look at my eyes. You're killing me, killing me. All I wanted was you."
She has no hope, he has no hope. He craddlles a broken doll.
"I try to be someone else, but nothing seems to change. I know now, this is who I really am inside. Finally found myself. Fighting for a chance I know now this is who I really am."
He stands before a man he thought he knew, a man who be blames for the broken doll. He raises his fists to defend the doll.
"Come, break me down. Bury me, bury me. I am finished with you. Look at my eyes, you're killing me, killing me."
"All I wanted was you."
"Come. Break me down. Break me down . . ."
Here a mirror shatters. On the rug is broken glass. Here lay two broken dolls, their fingers twined.
They have no hope.
