Today was a day full of fails, but they were pretty awesome ('cept one, but whatev).
So, Jaimi's biology class in the chem room right before my class, and their teacher had been out for the past week 'cause she fell and hit her head =( They have a test Friday, and the teacher was going over the study guide in class today. Well, at 12:55, she STILL hadn't dismissed them, and we're supposed to start at 1. Around then, Mohan shows up. About 3 minutes later, he looks really impatient and keeps checking every 15 seconds to see if she's going to wrap it up anytime soon. So, this one dude says "hey, Mohan, if you walk in, we'll totally back you up." Mohan agrees....then lets us go in ahead of him!!!! FAIL #1. The teacher did stop, though, since we had one minute 'til our class began.
Fail #2 came 3 minutes after that. I was talking to chem boy and got a little overenthusiastic and dropped/threw my i-Clicker at the ground >.> ACCIDENTALLY, of course, but still.
The next few/several/many came in engineering orientation, where they nearly had me convinced that I should switch to civil engineering. And then they showed us this video. Fastforward to 2:48. Now, I don't know why we found it funny. Maybe because it was a serious FAIL. Next, go to 4:18. Kinda scary, and very fail. Overcrowding=sturctural collapse. Finally, go to 6:49. This fail results from a lack of common sense (and a hard hat). if you have time, watch the whole thing. The earthquake pictures are pretty bad, but there's this landslide clip that was just...somehow, it was a fail, but it defies words.
Also, the background music in the 2nd thing I mentioned and the landslide part, I learned about that in music appreciation today =D You hear it EVERYWHERE. But do you know what they're singing?? It's 13th century poems in Latin, set to German folk songs. The lyrcs are what our book refers to as "racy medieval lyrics". And WOAH they are kinda racy. Haha, I thought it would be like...idk, not as racy as they actually are >.> "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff. Also heard in YGO Abridged Episode 27. Go to 4:45 and watch 'til Tea "gets chased by warehouses" xD Best scene in all of the series. Tristan on a motorbike XDD
OHOH, got to 6:05 as well XDDD Can you say FAIL TO THE MAX XDDD
The biggest fail of all, though, was my dream from last night. Actually, it was all this morning 'cause I woke up around 1, and I hadn't had the dream yet. So, this morning. It was some graduation-like thing...the more I think about it, the more I think it might've been something like a reunion, but idk. Anyway. So, I saw Chelsea, and I went to go say hi to her and whatever, and she did see me coming and all, but then a horde of people converged on her (okay, 5), and she ended up talking to them and being all excited to see them and all that jazz, and I was stuck on the outside of the group. After about 2 or 3 minutes, I finally gave up and walked away. When I was about 20 feet away, about to go into this room where they had food, she looks up and sees me and yells after me. Well, I was upset, so I dashed into the room, found that there were far too many people for me to deal with, and turned to leave. As I was running back out, Chelsea got to the door and tried to say something, but I told her to back off and leave me alone. I started to run again, but I slowed down for a second 'cause you were about 5 feet behind her and whispered, "You, too. Leave me alone for now, 'kay?" And then I ran off. I don't remember after that, but that dream was just a failure, and it was bad.
We somehow ended up at the mall, and they had a line set up for WoW. Go figure
I'm so tired...and thirsty
