Somedays, he goes for the blue, gothic look. Others, he goes for the dark, and handsome look. Ruin always likes to be unpredictible, and never let anybody guess what he would wear on any days. There was no percice order, nor any thing wrong with it.
Ruin looked into the mirror, looking at his nicly tuned chest. The girls liked it, and he liked working out, but not so much as to where he was a freak of mucels. Ruin held the black, ruffled dress shirt in his hands, at his side. He couldn't decide if he should wear it. He knew he wore it last thursday. But everybody knowing him, they would excpect something different, right? That had to be it.
He slipped on the shirt, and put on his thin white gloves. He knew he was the master, at love anyway. He could take a person's heart in less than three hours. But it was rare that he wanted to. He just liked being himself to the fullest content there was. Even if he was losing himself in the process. Nothing could sattisfie him more than a good romance book. The shelves in his room were full of them.
A simple ring came from Ruin's phone, sitting on his bed. Ruin looked at the phone still on the bed for a second, then picked it up, and held it to his ear.
"Ru here. What did you need Juiral?" Ruin asked. His voice sounded irritated, but he held it mostly firm.
"God, what crawled up your a**? I was just wondering what you were doing after school." Juiral asked from the other line on the phone.
Ruin looked once more in the mirror, and sat on his bed, still staring into the glass three feet away from him. "I have to go return a book to the library, then I'm going over to Karin's house. Why do you ask? Especialy twenty muinets before I see you on the bus."
"I just wanted to know, incase I could ask my mom if you could come over. Would you like the proposal?" Juiral asked.
Ruin sighed, and took the phone away from his face. He hated being popular. Ruin took one last look at the phone before he closed it and threw it on the floor. A knock on the door piched in his ears. When he looked to see who it was, his big sister, Adrial, was standing in the door way. She held one of his books by the seam, looking at him sweetly.
There was silence in the room, both waiting for the other to say something, but no one did. They were both just silent.
"Okay, I give. What do you need Adri? I have to go to school soon." Ruin said sweetly.
Adrial smiled, and put her hand by the end of her short skirt. "I just wanted to ask you if you were done with the other book, Blue Times. Are you?!" She asked.
Ruin reached under his pillow, and grabbed out a small paperback book, around three hundred pages long. He held it in his hands, and Adrial walked forward to grab it. Ruin handed it to her, and she sat next to him. Ruin looked at her short pink hair, and blew at it. Adrial laughed, and twisted his long, choppy dirty blonde hair.
"Thanks Bro. I'll see you at school." Adrial said, as she embraced him for a hug. He tried to pull back, but he was overpowered, and the hug was strong. Once Adrial let go, she ran out of his room, throwing the old book on his bed.
Ruin just looked at the door, with a confused face. She was so weird like that. Just be quiet for a while, then burst out of the room. It was like she had attention problems or something. Ruin shook his head, and looked at his phone. He had so many numbers in there, so many people he could call. They all would go hang with him if he wanted. That was just one responcibility of being him. You always have to hang with everybody one time a week. Not to mention the date today. The day before Halloween. Halloween was just when all of these parties open up, and everybody invites him at least twice. He already had twenty invatations in his closet. Just last night, his mother asked, "How many parties are you going to this year? What are you going to be dressed as anyway?"
Couldn't they all tell that he hated going to these things?! All of the people that he refused, couldn't they tell that he didn't want to go? He barely wanted to get dressed up this Halloween! Although, he had decided to go to one party, and one only. He "needed" a costume to get in. Well, luckily, in his closet, way back, he had a black mask, a cape, and a tux. The phantom of the party is just as good as the phantom of the ohpra, but less boring, and more "partylissious" as Adrial put it.
Ruin shook his head, and slipped on the shoes by his bed, the tied them quickly. He then grabbed a remote, and turned on his I-deck. A song blasted, and he smiled, then grabbed his phone from the floor. He might have hated having it, but he needed it just as badly as he needed his love stories. Without them, he forgot who he was.
