Rui's mom and dad sat on the other side of the tabel. He made the right decision when he sent Lin home, but now, he was hoping he was here to take him away. But, he wasn't, and Rui was to be left to his parents to be chewed out. It was all because his sister had to go and rat him out. Why the hell did she do that?!
"What were you thinking?!" Dad yelled, almost calmly.
Rui looked at him, and shrugged. "Well, I wasn't really thinking. That was it."
"Why did you take him here, all alone?" His mother asked.
"Because. I was spotted at school, and he was my boyfriend, so he wanted to come home with me. I took a shower, and things just... happened." Rui explained.
"We are very dissapointed in you!" His dad yelled.
Rui smiled. "Why? Because it was a guy? Because my rat sister didn't catch me with a girl instead? What's it to any of you anyways?"
"It isn't only the fact it was a guy, but what you DID with him!" His father screamed.
Rui's smile faded. "Well, I don't really want to explain that part."
"No more books for seven months! They are rotting your brain, and giving you false ideas!" Dad screamed once more.
Rui stood from his chair. "You see, the thing about books is, they ech a place in your brain. Unlike TV, you don't need to see the show three times to remember it. Go ahead, take them away. It's not like I wont stop seeing Lin. You can't stop me really, and you know it."
Dad stood as well, clenching his fists on the tabel. "You are getting out of line, way out of line!"
"Blame my sister! She was the one who made me question love! She was the one who intimidated me to read those books!" Rui yelled.
"She made a mistake, Ruin. Don't blame her. This whole thing is a mistake, okay? Lets all calm down, and talk this over." Mother said.
Rui smiled, and looked at his mother. "I don't think I can talk this over with you any longer. You just want to chew me out because of something I did. That's always what you do. Then you take things like they never happened. Talking is all you want to do, because it wont leave a scar, or anything later on that makes you look back to what actualy happened."
"When did you become such a brat?!" His father growled.
Rui smiled slyly. "The day I found I had a say in things. The day you decided to be okay with my sister running off to America looking for her boyfriend!"
"That was an accident, Ruin! What you are doing is as well, just like what you did with that boy earlier." His mother cried.
Rui looked at her, smiling sweetly. "Mother, it wasn't an accident. No matter how many times you tell yourself that. What we did, was no accident, and you have a smirk of knowladge that it wasn't. That is what you're afraid of. Your son being so different that you don't want him any longer, or that you can't handel him, make him normal. Am I right?"
There was compleate silence in the room for so long. Rui thought he finaly hit the point in this conversation that he can leave.
"No accident, huh?" His father muttered. "So that means you are ready to grow up then? You ready to feed yourself? Ready to be shot down? Because let me tell you one thing about love; you always get shot down."
Those last five words stung in Rui's mind like a bee sting on his heart. But what did his dad know? Was he saying that he wasn't in love with his wife? Saying that love can never truly work? What did he know about anything? Even when it came to his own son, he was clueless. He barely knew about Rui becoming king!
Rui slowly walked over to the hallway, then turned to the parents at the kitchen tabel. He looked around, and grabbed a sharp knife from the kitchen counter. He held it in his hands, and then quickly peiced the fridge with it. He stabbed it a few times, them stabbed it stuck into the counter.
"There we go. Proof to you two that this happened. That we had this little, friendly, non threatal talk." Rui muttered, as he walked back up to his room. He passed his sister in the hallways, and practicly made her trip.
"What's your problem?!" She called out.
Rui turned to face her. "Well, since you are now interested, you, our parents, being king, and the fact that you told our parents about what I did. I thought I told you not to?"
"I couldn't not tell them! They had to know!" Adri said.
Rui shook his head, and turned back to his door. He opened it, got in his room, and shut it behind him. His room was the same as he left it. Not him though.
He walked over to his bed, and sat down, looking at the sharpie marker on his bed. He remembered what they promised, Lin and him.
'Lets write eachother's name on our hearts, okay? That'll mean we're always close to eachother, no matter what.' Lin told him.
They did, and now, Rui held his hand to his chest, as if holding Lin's name. He missed him now. He wanted Lin to be here, to hang out with him, mabey watch another movie. Rui wondered if Lin was missing him as much.
But he did it. He fell in love with what was supposed to be a fluke. A way to get rid of his fame and thrown. Now, he had Lin's name on his heart, and the circumstance of earlier. How did things lead to that? What happened that made him do that?
Rui grabbed the remote to his I-deck, and turned it on, having rock music blasting. He started taking off his shirt, walking toward the bathroom.
"I'm sorry about Nicolas, for the thirteen- hundredth time."
Rui didn't need to turn to know who it was. His sister was inside his room, because he forgot to lock it. "Dang, I let the b***h in. Don't make me get the swatter out."
"I'm just saying I'm sorry, okay?! Don't you think you should say sorry?!" She shouted.
"You know, shouting from you, Dad, Mom, or anybody else, won't make me have any regrets about what I did with Lin today. Give it up already." Rui muttered, taking off his pants, and turning to see Adri near the door way.
"Why? Can't you see you did something bad? You both did!" Adri muttered.
"It wasn't bad. It was pretty good to me at least. You're just jelious that he made me happy. Unlike you did. No matter how many times you apologise, I won't be sorry for what I did, and I wont forgive you for leaving." Rui explained. "Now you better get out before I get nude, and go in the shower."
Adri took one hateful, deciteful, angry look at Ruin, before running out of the room. Rui took a deep breath, walked up to the door and this time locked it. When he turned back, he walked to his bathroom, went in, and turned on the shower.
"Forgiving is something you get when you can keep your temper in hot circumstances." He muttered.
