"Are you sure it'd be okay?" Lin asked.
Rui was opening the door to his house, with Lin behind him. "Yes, Lin, I told you that no one would be home until three in the morning."
The door opened, so Rui and Lin stepped inside. They both left their shoes at the door, and back packs. Rui still had that talk with Hiro in his mind. He never thought he was so close to Lin. Both Rui and Lin walked into the living room next to the kitchen. Lin sat on the couch again, and Rui walked over to the fridge. He saw the marks from last night, but ignored them. He pulled out two snappel iced teas, and walked over to the couch with Lin on it.
"What do you want to do though? Watch five movies or something?" Lin asked.
Rui shook his head as he sat on the couch, and handed Lin a snappel. "Not sure yet. Whatever you want I guess is alright with me. Today doesn't need to be like yesterday."
Lin opened the snappel, and took a sip. "Yesterday was fine I guess. The movie was alright."
"You don't need to avoid what I did yesterday. Not even I really know what got over me..." Rui explained, as he took a sip of his snappel.
Lin smiled, and genlty grabbed Rui's hand. "It's alright, really, I swear. Nothing bad really came out of it."
Yha, besides me getting chewed out, and you needing a ride home, Rui thought.
He nodded, and held Lin's hand back. "Right. How well do you know Hiro though?"
Lin looked at him, and his smile faded. "Why? Did he talk to you today? I'm really sorry, it just sorta slipped-"
"Lin, it's fine, okay? Just tell me." Rui smiled.
Lin looked up at him. "Well, I'm not really sure since-"
Rui leaned, and kissed him. "You need to learn how to give me a straight answer." Rui laughed.
Lin blushed. "Well if you keep kissing me like that, I might not."
Rui kissed him again. "Still not the answer I wanted."
Lin giggled, and got a little closer to Rui. "Well, I might never give you the answer you want."
"That's fine by me." Rui said, as he kissed Lin again. "Ha, got you. Do I love you?"
Lin smiled, and put his hand on Rui's cheek. "You might have gotten me this time, but I'll get you."
Rui laughed, "Still not the right answer." He lightly put his hand on the back of Lin's head, and kissed him again. Once he let go, Lin climbed onto Rui's lap, and they kissed once more. Rui stopped them for a second. "I need to take another shower, okay? I need this crappy dye stuff to come out soon."
"Sure. I'm still going to follow you to your room." Lin smiled.
Rui nodded. "I wouldn't have it any other way."
