It determines who your friends are.
It determines your looks on life, perhaps.
It cannot determine love.
Love does not have an age, but some beg to differ.
The burning deep within,
The burning love for a person older than who you are,
It is illegal.
Years apart,
Experience makes the difference as well.
Our age is a fraud.
Your love is not.
Love is age of experience.
Broken dreams happens to be our age,
We weep at night for it to go away.
This law is tearing us apart.
