wooo XD comicon was fun. apparently i make a smokin hot sister >_> and can turn straight guys gay and gay guys straighter. <_<
anyways today i won a t-shirt at the viz booth(dont really think its a booth) XD it has owly on it. for those that dont know what that is its an awesome children's graphic novel that seemingly has no talking in it what so ever. but the characters themselves are rather adorable. XD yay owly. theres a few other comic i recognize on it but i dont really care for it much.
XD i also went around getting random artists to draw me a sandwich. psssh who needs a real sandwich that costs $7+ in the convention when i can get a drawing of a sandwich. i really only recognized one of the artists that drew em for me though. and kinda ran outta time to actually get a larger collection. needa pick something else to get drawn next year now.
heres the list of booths/artist in the order i got them XD
1st fillbachbros.com i was hungry and said "if i said i was hungry and asked ya to draw me a sandwhich, would ya?" and they did ^_^ i still dunno who they are though >_> are they famous? they were having a book signing at the dark horse area.
2nd chris hazelton - author of an online comic i've read called misfile. i think this one is my favourite.
3rd then i got a sandwich from a guy i think is named travis. he forgot to write down what he was affiliated with though so i dont really remember other then what i can read of his signature.
4th i got an empty sandwich from tyler hutichisa?(cant read the signature well) at tylersaurus.com. apparently an empty sandwich is one of the few things he can afford to each. its awesome and has a face O_o
5th last is a piece from piratecove.com (can read the artist signature) lol they finished it 5 minutes before the convention closed.
i'll probly scan em and post them in another entry later. but who knows i might be lazy XD and completely forget keeping the awesomeness to myself.
other stuff... i bought new art pens XD and a mini toy camera that blinds me whenever i click the button. XD i just keep staring at the light when i click it >_> bought more swedish fish again today too. and i found the awesome candy that my sis brought me once. they look kinda like french fries but they taste like fermented/pickled lemons. i think its fermented cuz with pickling dont you just had a hell lot of salt and leave it in a jar?
this may be my longest entree every XD yay!
