Chapter 4 Part 3 Reasons of the Past Govind was in a state of shock. His father paralyzed him and Yuuki probably was on the verge to run. He felt alone like he did before he met me. Back in the past, he was alone. His parents were far from him and kept him isolated for most of his childhood. After he managed to escape one day he ventured out into the world where he was treat like trash and beat upon constantly. He began to wonder why he was here if no one was there to be with him and began to train himself up. Soon his parents had to make him go to high school. He wasn’t too happy with it and didn’t see anything go. People hated and cheated on each other; it made him sick, but two people caught his eye. They acted differently, the boy protected the girl and she stayed by his side. He watched them and began to wonder and wanted to know more about them. He later saw the boy get pretty beaten badly and decide to help him so he could learn more about this thing he has never experienced before. He soon learned many things while he taught many to the boy. He soon began to receive his mother’s love, but his father was still treating him sourly. After parting way with the boy and his secret lesson, he began to start watching his father and began to understand how horrible he was. His father then had to prove himself to Navimle and he did something that caused the split between him and Govind. He murdered his wife. With her last breath, she gave Govind a weapon to kill Muandrog. It was a special gun that could kill half giants for they had tougher skin then most people. Now at the moment of truth, he couldn’t do it because of the things he learned from me. Nevertheless, there was one thing he didn’t learn. Forgiveness. The moment the blade came swinging down his head and made a small bit of contact. Yuuki came and kicked ‘Chompers,’ pulled the blade out of Govind’s head and healed him. “Govind, snap out of it. Please.” She said. “Yuuki-chan? Why are you still here? Don’t you hate me?” “No! Sure, I was shocked at first, but in the end, you are not your father. You are you.” At that point Govind understood forgiveness and then knew what he had to do. *** While this whole episode was happening, I was in my duel with The Gentleman. We have traded a few blows equally matching each of our blows. We were bouncing all around the place knocking over some thing and even clashed a few times on the ceiling. One would strike for an offence advantage while the other blocked for defense. “You truly a challenge, buy, but you still have much to learn.” He then changed his form and began to lunge at me. His speed increase and I had a hard time blocking and he hit some would have been fatal wounds if it wasn’t for my armor. We jump away from each other. “Wow, you had this up you sleeve, old man?” I asked. “Yep, and you have armor? Honestly, in my day, we’d fight with are weapons and nothing else.” “Well, times change don’t they?” “True, but if you forget the old ways then one who knows it could beat you.” “Hmm, well, I am a bit of an expert in adapting.” I activated my special thing in my costume to scan my surroundings and analyze the situation. I just needed 5 seconds to see his technique and find the weakness, but I could be killed if I do it. Eh, dead either way might as well take a chance. We went into combat, and I watch him strike for 3 seconds when he got me, I backed away and try to clean the wound, but he soon started a game of cat and mouse. Finally I just stood for 5 seconds he manage to make the wound deeper, but not fatal an d I found his weak point although I had a few seconds again to do it. I decide to use the last trick I could do. “Seems like this is your final strike, ready?” I clutch my wound, “As I’ll ever be old man.” We ran up to each other and I flung my hand open and tossed some of my blood into his eye then I blocked his blade with one of mine. Then I used my other blade to knock his blade into the air and out of his hands then drop my blade and pushed then old man down. I then grabbed his sword as it came down and placed it on his neck and said, “Checkmate.” “Heh, you play chess, boy?” “Yes, actually. So now deal time okay?” “Sure, but let this old man up, please?” I helped him up and we laughed a bit. “So you trust this old man then?” “No, I trust the person whose name I don’t know.” “Heh, just call me Gramps.” He said and winked. “Okay, Gramps.” “So what is your request?” “Stop hunting me and join us?” “Hmm, sounds reasonable. Need to go in hiding anyway.” He then reach into his pocket and pulled out a watch. “Take this considered it a gift to my new grandson.” I took it and opened it. It showed a well used clock, but I also saw a picture of my family in the other side. “Gramps? Are you?” He was gone in an instant. Then I heard a bang come from the office. I ran in to see Yuuki holding Govind and Chompers Muandrog being blasted across the room. “Nobody!” Said Yuuki. Chompers got up with his shirt off and said, “Fine, that’s it.” He began trying to bite us then I noticed a small marble in the center of his chest. “Govind! Shoot at that small marble thing, but as I pointed, Muandrog bit me in the arm. Well the rumors were true he did have a set of chomper’s made of diamond, but I held my arm there as Govind fired his gun. The shot rang out and blast through both my arm and Govind father’s chest and as the bullet shattered the glass of Muandrog office, the sound signaled to all the setting sun in Muandrog’s life.
