Personality: Ronnie never comes off as openly hostile due to a lifetime of practice at making people feel comfortable talking to him, but he often radiates the anger of a trapped beast in his movements and choice of words. He is fairly intellectual and everything he does comes off as deliberate and inevitable.
Background: Ronnie grew up in a predominantly European (German mostly) part of town and was raised fairly sheltered as a child. When he hit high school age, he became more aware of the rest of the world and its cruelties (particularly because of his own Aryan features) and decided before he graduated high school that he wanted to be part of the church and help to end the sort of atrocities that he saw.
He devoted his life to spreading Catholicism and ministering to the downtrodden, but as he got older he began to realize that the world was just the same as it always was, even though he had devoted his entire life to changing it. Distraught, he eventually renounced God in his private mind, although he continued to go through the motions of his ministry.
When he hears of Fight Club from one of the people he minsters to (in confession) he finds new guidance for his life.
