heart My day was pretty good. I got some candy! And so yea. It was better than yesterday!
Ah, mom's home!
So, the only parts of my day that wasn't totally awesome were math and english, both of which were entirely my fault. Okay, the math story goes something like this: Ms. L was mad because we told the sub that we could work in groups, when we really weren't supposed to AND we weren't quiet. What happened was this: Comiskey wasn't being convinced by my classmates that we were supposed to be able to work in groups, so I jumped in. Not everyone had learned the last lesson, so we needed to help them with it. I said that. She was convinved, walked to the desk, and sat down. BAD BAD BAD. I shoulda kept my mouth shut.
English: After the quiz, I finished my vocab exercises in about 5 minutes. Simple. Then I started working more on my story. In the story, the intro is fiction, the beginning of the story is based on fact (but fictionalized in many respects), and the part I finished today is close to true (but again, fictionalized in many respects). It scared me a lot, and I was the one making it up! So, it wasn't awesome. But that's okay. I made myself stop writing. I was about to cry. I shouldn't scare myself like that sweatdrop Oh, I keep forgetting: I need a name that starts with "Sar" that isn't Sara. It's for the story. Anyways, that can wait. I'm working on the next bit. After the main character's little nightmare night, when she drifted in and out of sleep, frightened to death for someone, I need something uplifting. Maybe...a Valentine's suprise! Ha! See, there's 3 main characters: Michelle (the main character), Kaitlin (a girl in some of Michelle's classes), and the "Sar" girl (who isn't in so many of Michelle's classes). Oddly, these three never EVER talk to each other, yet there's only a problem between two of them. Ha, one's shy, one's quiet, the other's just...special? I guess that's the only way to describe her, so far.
Everyone in the story has a nickname. There's "sick girl" (until her name is mentioned), "Memphis girl" (who is just called that for the sake of, well, ME), and "the Sarlin" (the main girl AND that's also the name for all the people who are like her) (ie, Kate and "Sar" person) (eventually).
Basically, the premise of the story is that everyone has "psychic powers/abilities" as children, but unless they realize it, they lose the abilities. And Michelle realized it just in time to save her abilities. As time progresses, she discovers what she can do: visions (her initial power), healing (but it behaves in an odd way), and the ability to sense other people with powers (but not what their power actually is; also used as a sort of GPS to find people; comes in real handy irl, fyi...), as well as other ones that she finds. It's really cool. Ah, I've solved my name problem.
"the Sarlin"=Sara (formerly Michelle) "sick girl"=Allison (formerly the "Sar" person) "Memphis girl"=Raine (formerly Kaitlin)
ADDED PEOPLE: Sara's guy friend=Leo Allison's little sister=Irene (the second "e" is NOT silent; say it like I-Rini) Raine's little sister=Nellie
Ranked in age (oldest to youngest): Allison Raine Leo Sara Nellie Irene
The top 4 are the same grade; the last 2 are 2 years younger.
It's gonna be good. But I gotta get Nellie and Irene in the picture soon. Shouldn't be hard. They're going to be best friends. And they're part of the reason Sara is soooo uneasy around Raine. Heck, the only person she's really friends with is Leo. And they're...funny!
"Jesus take the wheel" came into my head randomly @ lunch
