YAY!!!!!! And my mom informed me that the Mt. Carmel QB tournament was the short one, so I will still make it to the library, yay! And we may have a person to cheer us on ! I need to clean up a few things, then I can ask my mommy if Victoria can just sleep over that Friday night so her mom doesn't have to drive her all the way out here just to go to a thing for 2 hours. What a waste of gas! Instead, she can just save her mom an entire trip! YAY!!!!!
So the poem "Remembrance" reminded me of two Evanescence songs: "Even in Death" and "Like You" so that was nice. But the only problem with me getting "Like You" stuck in my head is that I don't know all the words and I have a tendency to sing it out loud. Or at least mouth the words. But I just can't help it.
Speaking of music, I know EXACTLY how to get on Victoria's nerves, if I feel like it: just get a BS or NSync song stuck in her head, then just sing it randomly ^_^ Not that I would do that intentionally wink And for the next HP book, Caitlin, Victoria, Foltzes, Doris, etc., and I are going to B&N at 6:00 the day before it comes out to get in line. I won't be buying a copy, as my dad preordered it from Amazon, but I'm still going to go! It's an excuse to be in a bookstore! I think we should just get there at 5, buy some manga, and read it while we're in line. That way, anyone who wants to read the next Bleach or Chobits or KKJ is right there, no having to find people to give and return books. I've got Victoria and Beth waiting for both KKJ and Chobits.
Victoria's got EVERYONE waiting for Bleach, and I mean EVERYONE! Doris, Beth, Stephanie, Rebecca, me, and now she's got Amanda F. reading it. By the time the school year ends, she'll have lent her books out to half the manga-readers in the school! Next thing ya know, she'll be running a library! If we all paid a dollar to read a volume, she could buy another book whee Not that we would pay her to be able to read books we could get ourselves! But I think we should have a mini collection so she could get another volume ^_^
lol, we did the "you've been ship-wrecked on a desert island" scenario in religion today. We had too much fun with it. Everyone in the group learned the theme to Gilligan's Island because that was our anthem. We sang it, too ^_^ Stacey was our scribe, both for the assignment AND on the island ^_^'
One more blurb on my "Like You" in-my-head deal. I tend to use it to block things out. Like, I'll just start thinking about it, and everything else disappears. I did that twice just today. Just before history and just after. It really does a good job of distracting me. In fact, I think I'll listen to it now that I've finished my english!
