the 3 major battles were ypres , vimy ridge and the somme
in ypres it was the first gas attack that the canadians had to deal with they held on the french and british ran away. at vimy ridge the candians went over the top cuz the french and british couldnt do it. the candiand took over the german trench without even knowing they didnt .
