LENNE A famous singer-summoner from Zanarkand during the age of the Machina War, and Shuyin's lover. She was forced to the front lines to fight along with the other summoners in the city. Both she and Shuyin expected that the hopelessly overpowered Zanarkand would fall and that she would die in battle. Thus, Shuyin would attempt using Bevelle's machina weapon, Vegnagun, to defeat Bevelle and save her life. However, she was unwilling to allow him to take the lives of many others for her sake, and asked him to stop just as he was about to make of use the behemoth machina. He consented to her request, but the two were not shown the same mercy by their oppressors, and were promptly gunned down by Bevelle soldiers. Upon her death, her spirit was somewhow crystalized into the Songstress Dressphere, which contains her memories. It was over the course of the game that Lenne attempted to communicate with Yuna, whose Songtress outfit is identical to Lenne's attire. Overtime, Yuna begins to feel Lenne's presence and feelings more and more until they exploded on stage, showing Lenne's final moments alive. It was because of Yuna unknowing serving as Lenne's host that Shuyin ony saw Lenne rather than Yuna herself whenever she's in her Songtress outfit...
RIKKU Her personality is perky and optimistic, although her positive nature hides her being concerned and worried. As an Al Bhed, she has suffered discrimination from the Yevonite majority. Despite this, she managed to keep a positive outlook and wanted to save Yuna from vainly giving her life with the Final Summoning. Rikku also has something of a sibling-like friendship with Tidus, supported by their similar personalities and their deep devotion to Yuna. She actively encouraged the relationship between Tidus and Yuna, despite occasionally having flirted with Tidus...
PAINE As part of one of Final Fantasy X-2's side-quests, the player can collect from around the world of Spira Key Items called "Crimson Spheres". These spheres document Paine's experiences as a warrior-fighter for the Crimson Squad, which was intended to be an elite unit to surpass the Crusaders, with the best members being assigned to lead Crusader chapters across Spira. These spheres reveal that Paine had been the recorder for a group of candidates named Nooj, Baralai, and Gippal, the game's present day leaders of the Youth League, New Yevon, and the Machine Faction, respectively...
LULU Born on the island of Besaid, where she grew up with Wakka, Yuna and Wakka's younger brother, Chappu, is often stern and scathing (particularly to Wakka), and doesn't smile very often. However, she is nonetheless kind-hearted and caring toward others. She is also highly intelligent, and is one of the few Yevonites who easily questions the Yevon religion on objective terms. Nonetheless, she is still shaken by the hypocrisy of the Yevon order, though she adjusts to this reality faster than some of the other former believers in her party. Before becoming a guardian to Yuna, Lulu guarded two previous summoners whose pilgrimages abruptly ended before reaching the Zanarkand Ruins.The summoner died in the cavern of stolen faith when she went in to get the stolen faith and eaon lulu was unexperienced and ran away scared The pilgrimage of Father Zuke — the second summoner she served as guardian to — ended in the Calm Lands, as he chose not to continue his pilgrimage, a decision many summoners make when they reach those plains.
(TIFA LOCKHEART) In the game Tifa assumes the role of your childhood friend, she is the only person that knew the Cloud before the accident at the Mt. Nibel Mountain occurred and is still alive. From the time that she was a Child she was one of Clouds only friends and could even be considered Clouds Girlfriend at a younger age. Later in the story it is the love that Tifa has for Cloud that will save him from his memories after he falls victim to the Life Stream. For the most part Tifa is a constant supporter of Cloud and is always helping him out and believing in him.
(ARIES GAINSBOROUGH)Although Aeris is dead it is no surprise that she has a role in the movie Advent Children, just like in the game she talks to Cloud and the others through the planet, constantly watching over them and always offering aid when she can. Aeris also helps Cloud greatly in the movie, helping him cope with his regrets and doubts, she continually lends Cloud advice as well as hope and the will to fight. It would seem as though Aeris has such a high spiritual connection with the planet that she can continually aid Cloud and the others even though she cannot physical do anything. Evidence of this lies in the sudden removal of Clouds Geostigma and finally at the end when she appears before Cloud just after the Children save him.
(YUFFIE KISARAGI)Her first appearance is in the fight against Bahamut where she drops in from Parachute angry about who was using her materia. Throughout the fight she offers some assistance and shows of some cool moves but not much else. She again shows up on the Sierra and allows for some more satire when she is confused at why the Avalanche team wants to allow Cloud to fight alone. It would seem she is still rather childish despite being like 18.
