As i sat alone, sobbing and depressed
filled with fear and fright
you came up to me, and sat beside me
and in your gentle arms, held me tight.

If i had the day of my choice, i would spend all my hours
sitting alongside you
i would kiss you, hug you, and lay beside you
until the day was through.

Though we will never, have a future together
i don't want you to cry
'cus babe there will be, a time in my life
when i have to say goodbye.

I can't live, through all the fear
the misery and the pain
you know, that when your time is up
we'll be together again.

When you find this note, i've written to you
i'll be hanging in the bathroom, out cold
remember all the good times, we've shared together
never let our memories grow old.

I just want to tell you, how much you meant to me
being by my side every day
having you with me ? and loving me ?
i'd have it no other way.
