Name: Reitatsu Volley
Description: Shi-Shi always watched the tennis matches the human children had played at the local park after his feasts. As time grew, he became more and more acquainted with the sport, and there was a growing need in him to play. One day, as he stood on the sidelines, he imagined what it would be like to play. In his mind’s eye, he imagined his ideal racket. It was a deep green color, with a white handle wrap. In the middle of the white wires of the racket was a large green “S”, with a smaller green “I” right next to it. As Shi-Shi opened his eyes, he saw the racket had materialized itself in his hands. For the next weeks, shi-shi played against the children. They believed him to just be a floating racket held by an abnormally tall invisible man.
Volley Mode: When Shi-Shi says, “I challenge you!!”, the opponent is pulled into volley mode, a world which Shi-Shi is able to use tennis to his advantage. The world is just a tennis court floating in an abyss, with a skeletal judge sitting on a large floating chair. The opponent’s abilities are somewhat suppressed, but they otherwise function normally. Shi-Shi, however, is much faster and much stronger. He creates a tennis ball of reitatsu, and points his racket at the opponent. When he says, “Game Start” the skeletal judge repeats his words and the match starts. While playing, Shi-Shi uses various skills and trick shots to throw off his opponent. When he fires his ball, the opponent is either able to return the ball, or let it go. If the ball is let go, the opponent if hit by a large beam of electricity, causing more than regular damage. Shi-Shi then must create a new ball, and hit it again. Each ball takes a little more of his reitatsu to create, so when he is unable to create any more balls, volley mode is exited and the battle continues regularly. Each ball requires 1000 SC to make. If the ball is hit, they receive a small amount of damage, and enter match mode.
Match Mode: When the opponent and shi-shi enter match mode, whatever item the opponent is wielding turns into a tennis racket, still retaining the opponent’s race in the form of what color it turns to. If an advent, the racket is blue, if a quincy, the racket is green, if a hollow, the racket is purple, if a shinigami, the racket is red. In match mode, the opponent’s techniques are changed into trick shots. Shi-Shi has his own unique set of shots which are very powerful. As they volley back and forth, they can use their trick shots to inflict damage. Each person can only use three shots per turn, and the actions used by the shots cannot exceed their original number of actions. When one person misses a serve, they are hit by the electricity, and Shi-Shi creates another ball. If one person misses four shots they are disqualified and lose the match and the fight.
