CHAPTER 5
It was about 12:45 am and I had just turned the TV off. Cindi had fallen asleep on the little bed. I got into my own bed and began to sleep soon after. About an hour or two later, Cindi woke up and saw me through the darkness asleep.
She got up, walked over, and crawled into bed with me! I didn't wake up. Then, I did! I felt something lightly grip around my waist. Something along my whole back! I turned my head enough to see that Cindi had wrapped herself around and clung to me fast asleep.
"Cindi!" I growled. No answer. "Cindi!" I whispered. I got her off at least but couldn't wake her. I turned back over and tried but failed to sleep.
Cindi nuzzled her head in my back and grabbed me again. "I-I'm sorry..." she whispered.
"Wha?" I asked.
"I-I'm sorry!" she repeated.
"Cindi, what are you talking about?"
"That's not my name!" she said.
"Huh?" I said sitting up.
"M-My name i-is...Anarya!" she whispered.
"Anarya?" I repeated.
"I-I'm from T-Teramire...in the Cantharian Empire!" she said.
Then she was quiet. I just layed my head down and went to sleep.
"Anarya!" she heard. "Anarya!" she heard again. She opened her eyes to see...me! She jumped up and gasped.
"How do you know my name?" she asked.
"You told me!" I said as we walked downstairs. "You told me things you'd die for telling!" I said with a smirk.
Anarya grabbed my shoulder and snatched me around, "What?!" she screamed. She was more scared than mad, but yeah she was pissed.
"Yes! You're from Teramire in the Cantharian Empire if I'm not mistaken!" I said seriously. "You sleep talk!" I added as I walked into the kitchen. I made us some breakfast and as we ate, she explained.
"All you heard was true! I lied to you because I thought you wouldn't like my real name!" she said.
I got up and sat next to her. I really like your name! It sounds really nice to me!" I complimented. "In fact, it's as beautiful as you!" I admitted unitentionally.
When I noticed what I said, she was blushing. She walked over to me and hugged me. "Oh, I wish Larian was like you! If only little!" she cried. We stood there hugging for awhile in the middle of the kitchen.
She let me go and wiped her eyes. "Since I told you, I guess I won't go home! That should be easy!" she decided. Little did she know the Emperor himself was on his way to Earth!
I'm in love with her! She even told me she loved me! I guess I have a girlfriend now! That evening, everyone was home. My big brother was off work this evening. So when dinnertime came, she came with me.
"I have something to tell everyone!" I announced.
"What?!" my brother yelled unnessarily. His name is Joseph but we call him Scooter. He acts more like a little brother than a big one.
I began my story with a question. "OK, if I met an alien girl and we fell in love and she wanted to live on our planet would you be cool with that?" I blurted in one breath.
Scooter's cell rang upstairs so he ran past me and Anarya to answer it. "What's going on? You been watching those weird foreign cartoons again?" Mama asked.
"Uh...yeah!" I said. "Anyway, there's someone I want you to meet!" I grabbed Anarya from around the wall for them to see her. Scooter was laughing into his cell phone really loud. But he was ignored.
"This is my alien girlfriend, Anarya!" I introduced. She gave a slight wave and a beautiful smile was on her face. Mama was about to say something but a deep yet loud, rumbling, hum interrupted her. Anarya ran to the front door and I followed. My parents kept their seats . I opened the front door to look up and see a giant flying...thing!
"The ship!" I gasped in awe.
Anarya laughed and answered, "That's right!"
