Yesterday, since I didn't get a chance to write, I'll write about yesterday and today. I was gone because I went to the MSU football game. It was scorching outside but afterward we got ice cream 4laugh We sat up high near the top, and it seened like the sun was beaming right down on us, wretched with fury. Besides the heat, some people ended up having fun anyway. They tossed beachballs around the crowd, and I even managed to hit it up once smile The crowd was also throwing this clear balloon around, and after it got to our area I saw it wasn't a balloon after all. My dad exclaimed "Hey, Monique (that's my mom's name but I changed it so it's not my mom's name, it's where my mom's name would be.), did you see that "balloon." Then my mom laughed and my dad said, "That's a condom." eek I think I was more shocked that you could actually blow up a condom and that someone would than people would toss one around like a toy. The "balloon" ended up floating out of the stadium, and I wondered ho would put they're mouth to one of those. Which, of course, reminded me of something whee I remember at the end of the school year, since we had nothing better to do, my homeroom teacher took us outside. My friends and I, were just standing by the brick wall. We just strolled, talking, until Brittany found to purple and white popped-balloon-like things at the end of the grass. "Oh my gosh, those are condoms!" said Brittany, loud enough for the nerdy-ish kids to hear. They came over, and so did this boy named Andrew. They gawked at it, and Andrew didn't realize what it was, so he thought it was a purple balloon. Then he stepped on it. To this day, we still give him grief about the white and purple "balloons."
Also, we went backpack shopping. At first I thought it might be a hard decision, you know, choosing a backpack, not really realizing what exactly I was choosing. I saw a few I liked, but I was eyeing a white backpack with purple and pink and green polka-dots. I was about to pick it up, but then I asked myself Do I really want to be seen carrying a polka dot backpack in front of the whole school? Absolutely NOT! That question made it a whole lot easier to chose. I deicided on a pink one that matched the drawstring one I was going to carry in school. You see, our school lets us carry these drawstring backpacks because we can't carry a regular-sized backpack because we can only go to our lockers 3 times a day-the before homeroom, before lunch, and after school ends because my school is evil: twisted See what I mean? Moving on to today.
There's not much to talk about on the today subject. But I finally looked up the lyrics to this one song. I'm going to get it on Itunes. I'm just kind of preparing for back-to-school, I packed Perfect by Sara Shepard, 'cause my friends and I have beed dying to read it. It's like our little book club. I pick the books, mostly, cuz I read the most books. I'm going to introduce them to the Twilight series, the best books I've EVER read. I love them and they're my most fave books in the whole world. biggrin Plus I've got a notebook and a folder and my mom said she'd buy all the rest of the stuff once they sent home lists. But that's all, for now. cool
