Memory of William
The way he made me laugh
The way he made me smile
Makes me wish he had stayed a little while
For he was my father and died in December
I loved him in baseball
I loved him at home
For he was my father and that alone
My mom tells me he is gone forever
And I still bother her
To say he is still my father
For all that is left is his legacy of laughs and tears
He loved
He laughed
He smiled
He cried
He never gave up
He always tried
Now my baby brother fills the void
He is a year old and a pain
He cries
He laughs
He smiles
He talks gibberish
And has eight teeth
He walks
He eats
He sleeps
He bites
He fights
And he is my life
