SOMETHING FOR ALL WHO LOVE AND DREAM
A black suit. A white rose.
Standing there as I propose.
Under a tree of oak or pine,
This day I want to make you mine.
You look at me, I look at you,
As we hear the aws from a crowd of a few.
I look again, your smile is cute.
I'd tell you myself, if I weren't so mute!
Weeks, months, time doesn't slow.
With you on my mind, the love ceases to grow.
And as we plan out the day for you me,
I can't help but think of how it will turn out to be...
A wedding, a small one, at the alter we stand,
Waiting for the pastor to join us hand in hand.
And with the deal sealed, our lips embrace,
Heralding the beginning of what we are to face.
A few years pass, we're still content
With eachother's company. Every day and night with you well spent.
But always, there's problems heading just our way.
A talk and a prayer, however, will keep them at bay.
And what about the sound of little feet?
Another time to talk about this, don't you think?
And years from now when I grow old,
A story of our love for the grandkids will soon be told.

About you, about me
There are things I want to say,
And I try to, every day
When I focus on you... all else seems to blur
My heart tells me something, a nudge, and it stirs
Thinking of you, talking to you, it's almost a high
My heart goes thump, my heads in the sky
If there is one thing I could do, one thing I wish I could try,
If the world went on forever, no one had to die
I think you might already know how I feel
But I do know one thing.. this is for real...
