Satsujin stood at his door, a note was pinned to the door. It told him that Aoi had been taken and held captive in the abandoned castle not far from his home. He growled. They told him to come and save her if he wished to see her again. Satsujin wasted no time in shatpening his katana and wakizashi. He prepared for an ambush that was inevitable. He waited for a few days to make his move, to atch the ambush party off guard.

Aoi sat in a the cold throne room of the abandoned castle, her hands were tied until it was time to feed her. They mostly left her bond and gagged for the day. Not even taking advantage of her ever. They did sometimes tell her he would die, as the days past they kept telling her he'd abandoned her. She heard the door open, their commander came in with a plate of food and untied her hands, then set the meal in front of her. She ate slowly.

"Your man hasn't showed up yet...it's been a week now...and you still say he'll come for you." He laughed omenously. He took a sip of tea he'd brought for himself. He looked at her hungerly. He continued to sip his tea.

Aoi ate slowly and fearfully. She said nothing. The look in the man's eyes scared her. But, there was nothing she could do about it.

The man finished off his tea slowly. He waited for her to finish her meal. As the last bite trailed down her throat, he grabbed her by the wrist. He was just about to strip her of her clothing when a servant inturupted him.

"My lord he is here." the servant announced.

The man tied her ands and gagged her, "Well ambush him and kill him!" He snapped.

Satsujin watched as fifty men surrounded him before he reach the castle gates. They came at him. He drew his sword, slashing several across the stomach in a shower of blood. He turned to face another few attacking him. He blocked several attackeds, and answered with a series of strikes, cutting the men down. Another wave of attacks came from his side. He responded with lighting fast strikes cutting down the men, sending blood like rain falling to the pathway to the gates.

Once at the gates, Satsujin was greated with another ambush. He was the attacks from the left side, and the right. He would stab or slash the man from the one side, and then stop the man at the other side with a quick counter attack. Slashing one man down, then flipping his sword around and embedding it momentarily in the attcker behind him's stomach. He kept on his feet like this slowly working his way through the gates and past the courtyard.

Once inside the narrow hallways of the castle, he would duck from one side to the other,tripping attackers and hewing them in half as they fell. He tucked under swords hacking and slashing the men as the came down the hallways. He stuck to the corrdiors to be able to deal with one enemy at a time. He fought his way slowly to the throne room at the top floor.

Satsujin reached the throne room, soaking blood. He slid the door open, there stood a man in front of him, as if to gaurd Aoi. No words were spoken. He came at Satsujin fast and hard. He barely blocked his blow. He forced him off only to be tripped. He fell to the ground hard, rolling out of the way as the man's sword came down at his chest. He roled out of the just barely in time, he felt the attacker's sword cuting into his back. He jumped up and charged the man. The man blocked and attacked Satsujin. He sidestepped out of the way just intime. He sheathed his sword and stood in the stance of the Battoujitsu. The man foolishly charged him. Within the blink of an eye the man lay dead.

Satsujin ran to Aoi and untied her. He held her close and smiled at her, "I fought for you against all odds...because I love you." He whispered to her.
