Last night I had a weird dream about me meeting some real life "chobits" but they looked like real humans.. no doll ears. Anyways, I remember myself being in the hospital hallway wearing a white hospital gown. I was scared at first, but I realized I was not alone. I walked down the bright hallway and saw many others like me. They were standing there... alone. Well not really because I walked toward them. One of them had a name tag on them. Her name was "C". Weird, huh? Anyways, C had this great big smile on her face. She kept on smiling at me. I asked her why she had smiled so wide. She said to me because you are here with me and I'm not alone anymore. She took my hand and held it against her face. She was so happy! She cried out, "I CAN FEEL!!!" I was a bit confused why she said that and I said to her, "Of course you can feel.. you're human!" She replied, "No I'm not. I'm a fully designed and customized humanized robot who can feel, taste, and smell like a real human.. all of us are like that! Aren't you?" She looked at me with a questioned look upon her white powdery face. I was stunned and shocked to hear what she asked me. I let go of her hand and started running toward the door. I burst open the door to the outside world. I wasn't in Georgia anymore. It looked like I was on a different planet. Everyone stared at me like I was the only human girl left in the world. I saw no children.. only humanized adult sized robots. They looked like perfect humans to me but they were only covered with the human skin to look like... HUMANS. I said to myself 'Where did all the humans go?' confused
Later, I came upon a field not just any old field. It was a field filled with purple flowers but they had no life.. no smell.. they were fakes but they looked so real and felt so real. I was scared, again. I looked around and saw fog all around me, then I heard a distant voice call upon me shouting, "HELLO OUT THERE!!! WHO ARE YOU??" The shadow of a person came closer and closer. Soon I saw a human like figure coming out from the thick fog. It was a man. A very old looking man. He said to me, "Don't be afraid, my dear lady, you are witnessing the future of humanized robots. They are not only robots. They can taste, smell and feel. They're marvellous, are they not?" I looked at him. My eyes wide with terror. I felt like I was in some kind of horror/mystery/fantasy movie. He touched my cheek and said, "Y-y-y-y-your a human girl... I thought they had been killed!" I, then asked him, "What do you mean???" He looked at me and told me to be cautious where I go and who to meet in the future, then he said, "You're a very lucky human to be alive at this day and age." I didn't know what he meant by saying those words to me but I kept those words with me. The man was a humanized robot too. He told me the date of when his body will stop functioning. I thought was rather weird to know. Your death date. Wouldn't you be scared and shocked if you knew when you were going to "die". Anyways, I was once again alone on the foggy purple flowered field. I turned my head from left to right and saw nothing but fog and purple flowers. I sat there and fell asleep.
The next morning I awoke and sat upstraight. I heard someone or something coming towards me really fast! I stood up quickly and wondered where I could hide but there wasn't a hollow tree or cave to hide in. I stood there still... hoping the thing or someone would go away. It was to my surprise.. another old man but he was wearing a formal tuxedo with a fancy walking stick. He walked toward me and said, "You must return to the city, my dear." I looked at me with questioned look, then asked, "Who are you?" He grinned at me and said, "I am... well.. it's none of your business." I stood there in front of him looking at me. He motioned me to follow him, so I had no choice but to follow him. There were two other people with him and they looked as though they work for him like body guards. It was weird. I wondered why an old man needed such people to protect him.
I don't remember much after that.. all I remember was that fancy old man trying to kill me by pushing me off the cliff. It was really scary! I began to scream and plead to him to stop but he wouldn't. I heard quick running footsteps and it was C, the humanized lady robot from the hospital, she ran as fast as she could and she got there in time. The man pushed me off the cliff and I fell.. head first... and down... down... luckily I was saved by C. She held me in her arms and she said to me, "Did I come too late?" and she smiled at me. I was so happy to see her that I was speechless. After that had happened, the other humanized robots siezed the old man and took out his batteries and he came to a stop. They had told me that they were sorry to have him let me do that to me. One of the robots told the other that he already knew that he was a defect.. but was scared to be thrown off the cliff, so he didn't say anything. I asked C, "How did you fly like that?" She smiled at me and said, "I'm the upgraded version! I have the ability to fly!"
And with that.. I woke up. I realized it was all a strange and scary dream... a dream that told me that someday.. robots will take over our planet and turn it into something else.
