Cuts So I was at church and my youth pastor (who is 20 years old) named Jake comes over and in the middle of me talking to him he notices my wrists and the cuts on them. He made me promise I would stop but I forgot and cut myself again. Oooooops!!! Now what? emo

	I personally think it's terrible one would physically harm oneself purpously[sp], but whatever the reason for your actions may be, it's your decision what you do with yourself. He has no right to force anything you don't want to do upon you, and you may want to tell him that. When it comes down to it, it's what you think is best for you. [Though I'm sure you and I can agree that physical harm upon oneself isn't best for anyone in any case.]

	Yes that's true but I have my reasons and I don't know if he'll believe that they are good enough.

	I mean, I'm not religious and therefore know nothing about Pastors and the part they play in one's life. But I do know that you are an individual and therefore deserve the right to make your own decisions without help from others, and if this means disobeying Jake, be that as it may. On second thought, though, he is right. You shouldn't harm yourself purpously[sp], emotionally or physically, in most cases, but your reasons are your own and since I don't know them, I can't determine if you're making the right decision or not. Consider thinking physical harm over long and hard. If you continue to believe it's best you cut your wrists, you may want to consider wearing long gloves. Fingerless ones are pretty sweet looking, I got my friend a pair of red and black ones for Christmas. [Not for the same case as yours, but. . . xD] If you need store suggestions for gloves, let me know. wink

	just try and remind yourself not to do that. pain is not a good way to solve problems. next time you are at church, talk to jake about why you started cutting your wrists in the first place. who knows? it may stop soon wink

	No reason is a good enough reason... Yeah, I understand why some people do it.. Cause they told me about what threw them over the edge.. Bu Sukiko.. you never really told me your whole story.. I know it's not really my business but I can't just let you go on hurting yourself.. it's not good emotionally or physically.. and it hurts the others around you... sad
