I know how people speak of physical pain and how it's real. I'm a sprinter on the track team, so I know about it. Still, I've had shin splints and muscle aches in the legs recently. Every time I take a warm-up run with the sprinting team, it hurts. But then I start thinking about how in The Matrix, they let go of fear, doubt, and all that other stuff. I tried doing the same thing for my pain, and it felt distant. It's got me thinking...is physical pain real? Or is it an illusion of the mind? I know what a lot of people are going to say for an answer...but still, I can't help but wonder about it...
