Ohmyfsk.
Partner whipped out copy of MacWorld, the very first issue.
Granted, it went to print around same time I was born*5. But ignore the age gap.
I was already totally sold, on the spiritual connection we have with each other. But wow, this is tangible proof I can wave in people's faces as to our mutual compatible insanity rofl heart
Excuse me while I go girl!wank over the geek porn that is the very first issue of MacWorld.
Now, if someone has a January 1982 edition of PC Magazine that is in good condition*1 and that they are willing to part with, I will definitely make some sort of art*2 in incredibly appreciation of the willingness to part with it*3
1 Good condition means no mildew smell, not horribly rumpled or bent, probably put in a box or closet for most of the past 25 years - as y'know, we geeks tend to be about three years behind in cleaning up piles of stuff.
2 Give me a topic - not anime / series specific - and I will create 10 photo/manip pieces based on it, or a small short film - not animation, video based footage of nature/if I can find models of subject matter, not pr0n, as model releases are too difficult, as well as Gaia PG-13 issues.
3 And I'll pay for shipping preferably within $20 CAD/USD, but negotiable depending on condition of magazine issue, photos for proof or it didn't happen - ohcheese, I need to stay out of GCD, or rather, my brain needs to not remember GCD thread fragments when I've had some rum - and no, unrelated to Pirates of the Carribean, I haven't seen the entire film yet. Rum just happens to be on hand / useful for making hot toddies for sinus congestion migraine.
4 And no more footnotes. Partner listening to Coast to Coast AM, the narcolepsy/ADD-ish symptoms from meds demand that I listen to it, if not the very least for the lovely conspiracy theories whee heart

edit: 5 looked at front of magazine, publication date is February 1984 - so I wasn't born yet. But. Anyone who wants to raise issue about my disparate age gap in relationship should trace my past relationships and realize that the relationships I have been happiest in, have been with people not age-peers - as they tend to be boring, and not suited to Aspergers' tendencies. This is the the most content I have been in over a decade, and is not ignorance, or craziness, and I'll explain it all in four or five years and then comprehensive will be much more at grasp. heart
"all you need is love" -- as long as legal, and emotionally mature to be able to adapt to each other's needs. A 20 year old is not necessarily more immature than a 60 year old, a 40 year old is not necessarily more mature than a 30 year old.
