The title of this little blog: To Kill a Mockingbird...

Does it have anything to do with what I want to say? No? Is it a cool sounding title? Yes. Well, I have submitted some of my stuff to the art arena. It is not doing as well as I'd like, but it is doing as well as I hoped. It drive me nuts how I don't have a mountain of comments but then there is a drawing of a stick figure that has been complimented to death...

"WOW! LOVE How you drew his arm!"

"sTiCk MaN fOr TeH wIn!"

"OMG, this is LUDICROUS ARTZ!"

"I think the thing I like the most about this piece is how you made the circle representing his head perfectly shaped."

I try to be nice to those who submit their art. You never know if it is a youngin' who is only looking for praise when it comes to his/her piece. You don't want to make a child cry...that is, unless you are Alec Baldwin...Then you wanna make your child cry. And you gotta threaten your child if you are Alec Baldwin.

The point is...I just want some actual opinion on my art. I was a little put off at first with some of those kids who have nothing better to do than flame pictures, but now the scores are getting tallied and the bad is becoming outweighed by honest opinions.

But, the art field really is a bunch of crap anyway. If you watch that movie, "Art School Confidential" you will see what I mean. That is the way the art world feels sometimes. Maybe that's why I don't draw as much anymore...

Nah...I just love playing guitar hero. XD
