Today, Vampires are featured in everything from manga to movies. Many modern vampires are hilled by sunlight and staking. Almost all modern vampires drink blood and have fangs. In mythology, many vampires did not have fangs. Instead they had barbed tongues. Only some modern vampires have an inability to cross running water. Modern vampires tend to have super human strength and supernatural abilities. Modern vampires are not as obsessive compulsive as ancient vampires tended to be. Still, the Vampire has become part of out culture and, as a result, it has become far more human than it was depicted in history. Good or bad, this is what has become of the creature that fascinates our mind.
