So!
I added Lady K on to my MSN after like over 100 years of not being able to talk to her on Yahoo because it are hates me!!

We had a brilliant discussion about MMO's (and other things too).

She told me (in comments) about WoW, which I have no knowledge on due to being a pay-to-play wimp. I found her information to be, well, informative. I like that WoW doesn't delete your characters outright and that monthly subscription is possible along with discounts for larger payments!

I'm really hoping Gaia takes a leaf out of this book if they plan to have a pay-to-play server~!
Speaking of which I would quite like a P2P server, it would be fairly quiet and I assume fairly civil in terms of monster / loot stealing.

Anyway, another interesting thing that I've been thinking about is my "Character".

Jiang Ryudo was the name I chose for my Gaia Avatar since then it has changed twice;

now to: Jiang Ryudo

But I never really thought about her story; the few times I have RP'ed (on Gaia) it has never been the story or identity of "Jiang Ryudo", I have used the Jiang Ryudo name in some stories I wrote with a friend. However I view that "Jiang" and this Gaia Character as totally seperate.

This character is an ever-changing mass of my own personal aesthetic indulgence. She's the doll that I play with; that's not much of a story is it?

So what do I do; do I plan on writting something in the form of a 'diary' for the MMORPG?
If I do want to write one, then should I start to decide on my characters visual look and hence her story? If she's dressed as a warrior is she a paladin or is she a dark knight? If she's dressed in peasant gear is she poor and gradually earns riches from her exploits?

I guess it's all stuff to consider!
