Since this is my journal, I suppose this entry should be used as a sort of introduction - especially if those reading this do not know me or have not read my profile page or the numerous questions in my quest thread.

My name is Shaina, yes I'm actually a woman (loves her male avi, though), I am 21 years old and live in southern Missouri in the United States. I am the youngest of four siblings - I have two older half-brothers (Frank and Mark) and an older sister (Tonika). I see myself as cut from a different cloth from many of the people I grew up around - being more open minded than the majority populace - but I try to get along with whoever is around me. One of the few things that will irk me beyond all else is bigotry. Do not bring your narrow-minded arguments to me because I will shoot you down and then block your sorry arse - but I digress.

I love theatre and musicals, I took a year as a theatre major at Southeast Missouri State University before financial troubles led me to leave. I'm still hoping to get back in a University sometime within the next year so I can kick start my life back to where it should be.

I also love foreign languages and cultures, especially when it comes to music - looking at my play lists on my computer, you will find more bands from others countries than the more popular, main-stream things. And though I was raised in the South, I find that my sense of honor and morals is more old-fashioned, though I hardly ever enforce them (no use to push a useless battle where I live).

On a more personal point, I proudly admit that I am a Submissive (if you're not sure who or what that is, I would suggest you google it, though be careful since it's a fairly adult topic) and, though I'm not actively looking for my Dominant, I am always happy to chat with like minded individuals. Do not expect me to do on-line play, least of all with people I may believe are younger than me (I detest the idea of dating someone younger than myself). Also, simply because I am a Submissive, does not make me a doormat. I will not jump simply because some upstart barks at me to do so.

When I'm not on here typing away, in real life I like to crochet, walk around outside (weather and bugs permitting), read, and make recycled paper. I've also just recently opened an Etsy shop in which to sell some of the items that I've made.
