Senna ran into the back forest of the house. She stopped at a large tree and laid down on the ground. "Why?" She cried. "Why him?"
"Would you prefer someone else?" Raven asked as he cleared a line of bushes.
"What do you want?" Senna asked him.
"It is my job to make sure you are safe." Raven reminded her as he sat next to her.
"Can't you just go away?" Senna asked.
"You know I can't." Raven asked. Why do you cry?"
"What does it matter to you?" Senna asked as she sat up.
"I know you just lost your grandfather." Raven said. "I know what you must be going through right about now."
"How!? How could you possibly know!? He was everything. My grandfather was the world to me..."
"ENOUGH!" Raven said sternly. "Just be glad it was one person. You did not lose everyone you know. Some people lose a lot more than you." Raven said with furious eyes.
"What?" Senna wondered. "Does that mean that...?"
"I don't want to talk about it." Raven said his voice calm again. "It's painful memories for me." Raven thought. "Come on were going to school soon." He said.
"Alright." Senna said wiping away the last of the tears on her sleeve.
