Shadow snuck out of bed and started to get ready for school.As he combed his hair he looked at Zeon.The serpent was no bigger than a 5 year old,but Shadow was starting to warm to the thing.He didn't mind it being so bossy.It had been stuck in an egg for 8,000 years after all.
Zeon opened his eyes and hissed.It was far to bright after being stuck in red darkness.He got up and streched like a cat and jumped out of bed.
"Hey,Zeon.Can you hide your tail?"
"Yeah."Zeon took off his cloak,hissed something and his strange hand and tail disappeared."It'll hold 'til dark."
"That's perfect."Zeon looked at his new human hand.
"I hate this world....and I love it at the same time."
Shadow and Page ran up the street to school with Zeon at their heels.Shadow ran towards the schools babysitter play ground.It was a place for kids while their older brothers and sisters went to school.
"Zeon,stay here for awhile and behave until we pick you up,OK?"
"Fine."Page scratched him behind the ear and followed Shadow to school.
