It's pretty cool actually. I met up with a guy on a gaming forum who was looking for players in town, and I just so happened to be in the mood for some gaming action. I think my games will be strictly limited to the Prairie Con and Ai-Kon conventions because the group I've joined only has the one DM. Two of the others have experience in doing it besides me, but normally they only do one campaign at a time (which goes from being lv 1 to epic). I don't mind that too much. Just means less thinking, and prep, on my part.
It's supposed to happen every Friday, but sadly that can not be since I usually work most Fridays, or have to work at 8 AM on the following Saturday. I miss the good old days of high school where long weekends were filled with marathons of movies, and gaming. That's just not possible nowadays. Unless you're like a certain friend of mine who's milking their stress leave. xp
But all-in-all, it's good to be rolling the dice once more. I'll just have to hope that my character survives the next session since the deities forsaked "resurrection" about two campaigns ago.
