Alright, as anyone who actually knows me or checks this journal knows, I don't come on gaia much anymore. I probally won't in the future either. I've probably said this before, but I am really effing tired of the gold situation here. I joined back when gaia used to be good. Back when you could buy monthly collectibles were the only cash items. Back when there was no cash shop. I don't want to sound like a bitchy little asshat, but damn, people! How long does it take you to realise that the cash shop is the only way to make good money anymore? Before if you really wanted some quick money, you could get maybe three or four monthly collectibles, sell them, and come out of it with 100 - 200k gold. You can still do that now, but back then, if you had 100k, you were pretty well off. Now? 200k is nothing. Sure, If you only want to get s**t out of the regular stores, you're set for life, but if you want to actually look good? You go to the marketplace for 5 minutes and you're down to nothing. Again. And the evolving items? Those things are a laugh. The only way to get rich from those is to buy every single one that comes out, and hope that they take it out of the cash shop later. Yes, hope they take it out. I have personally gotten two items, (fausto's bottle and the green corralus egg if you're wondering) and they're both worth about nothing. Why? Because Gaia decided to make it so that people can jump right to the newest evolution by getting a later version in the cash shop. So basically, The versions I got were the original, but people can get a different version that does the same thing. So thank you gaia. Thank you for putting in a shop that completely ******** up Gaia's economy, because It DEFINATLY wasn't bad enough already.
Other thing is about making gold without buying things. That was always bad, now it's worse. Let's see, how about posting in the forums? Alrighty, first post gets you 50g. Not so bad. Second post gets you about 28g. Almost cut in half, but still ok. Ten or 20 posts later you're at maybe 3g per post. Whoop de frickin doo. I've actually talked to other people about this, and I know I'm not alone. And I can quote:

Wanna go off the posting subject? Fine. Let's talk towns. Short answer: what gold? You basically get nothing from towns. The 8-20g that drops randomly when you shake trees or bushes does not help at all.
And last, the games. Ah yes. Some games you can actually make a good bit of money on. You just have to pick the right ones. Just don't pick fishing. You have to spend a lot of money just to buy basic stuff before you can get anything good. But most games you can get a good amount of money on. Better then the forums.
Ha~ Didn't mean to go on a full fledged rant there. Maybe I will stick around, I guess I forgot how much fun ranting is. I'll need to make some new friends, though. All my old ones don't come on much. I guess I will be seeing you people around. Anyone who actually checks this thing, anyway.
